it wasn't approved even on the 7th it wasn't till the 8th Monday is was approved cause Kevin somehow pushed it threw I assume he lied about income the financial company and made up some number that I don't make so first off I never asked to forge any documents why he went in extra early on Monday to push it through Kevin including Management are just over seeing what Kevin did and are just throwing the contract in my face and walking away but what they don't and won't understand is it wasn't approved to begin with till Kevin lied to get it approved they try to be nice and treat you good and your family really? This dealership has made over $150,From me and my sister I was going refer more people their but not after this in less Avondale makes this right and takes this loan out of my name or completely give the car back all together but they said my brother would have to go down there to see if they could do anything I highly doubt it in less they can force Kevin to co-sign for him like Kevin did to me or talk me into it put me on the spot you don't ask people to co-sign period if Avondale doesn't make it right kiss my business my sister all my family friends and my next generations we'll take our business elsewhere they choosing possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars over a $car really if this were I would make it right do save this once good business relationship I wish that company would be more understanding and shedule me a meeting with the owner of Avondale Toyota thanks to Kevin I can't buy my house cause he did this it counts against me even if I'm a co signer I no longer want that contract thrown in my face I want to come clean about what he did I want a calm meeting between owner and me and the owner to talk to Kevin and get the truth on what I told him

In reference to the above complaint number, Avondale Toyota would like to take some time below to explain what we have done to try to rectify this situation:
Upon time of delivery the sales manager and the customer discovered a noise coming from the engine compartmentWe had it
checked by our mechanics and was told they had just replaced the power-steering pump and that the noise would go awayAfter almost a month the customer returned and the noise had not gone awayWe then shipped the Jeep over to the Dodge store for further diagnosisThey relayed back to us that it was in fact a transmission issueIt being an existing issue from time of sale Avondale Toyota made the decision to repair the vehicle for the customer at an expense of $2,006.02. The repair took longer than expect (approx weeks) so we put the customer in a loaner car for the entire repair process. Then approximately weeks later customer began experiencing smoking and stallingWe had it towed to the store and had Dodge diagnose the vehicle again and they informed us that the Head Gasket was failing and needed repair. The customer upon delivery signed a waiver stating they did not want to purchase a warrantyThey also signed additional form stating that the vehicle was being sold as-isPlease see attached copies of customer signaturesWe at Avondale Toyota pride ourselves on being as transparent to our customers as possibleAll of our cars with over a 100,miles are sold as-isIt is very difficult to foresee any issues with cars with these milesThe vehicle in question had 141,at time of deliveryWe offered to repair the motor at our cost or they could trade the vehicle in at an exaggerated amount of $5,We offer this in these situation to try to benefit our customerRather than profit again on the 2nd transaction we offset that by artificially increasing the value of there tradeWe have been doing so for about weeksWe have shown them over to cars ranging from the same price to one that would need to have bank financingIn either case we have been more than willing to help. With the customer knowing she purchased the car with no warranty and also knowing the sale was as-isWe feel Avondale Toyota has no further liability in this case. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact the undersigned
Thank you

I believe if you take a car thats put together im gonna be able to pick up the car put together. and now the so called after market sun roof does not work. if its after market or not everything should be working fine. now avondale toyota says "it was not connected" after leaving the car for 3 days now "its the tracking" one thing after another I dont think there is another excuess. I will be trading my car in. I have the car for 2 years with no problem since I took it to avondale I want nothing to do with toyota.

On 4/14/2017, Ms. Anaiya W[redacted] arrived at our dealership with her 2011 Chevrolet Cruz ([redacted]) regarding a check engine light on the vehicle she purchase on 1/4/2016. In an effort to get the most accurate information, we brought the vehicle to Gateway Chevrolet so their Chevrolet...

Certified Technicians could properly diagnose the vehicle. On 4/15/2017, Gateway Chevrolet recommended replacement of the O2 sensor as the remedy to this check engine light. [redacted] covered the cost for this diagnosis and replacement, a total of $230.37. On 4/27/2017, Ms. W[redacted] returned to the dealership with another check engine light. We advised Ms. W[redacted] that we would again send the vehicle over to Gateway Chevrolet for their diagnosis, but recommended repairs and associated costs would be her responsibility. This subsequent diagnosis was provided to Ms. W[redacted] directly from Gateway Chevrolet. In no way did we attempt to hide information or mislead Ms. White. We take pride in our positive reputation in the community and constantly strive to exceed customer expectations, which is why we covered the cost of the O2 sensor replacement when we were under no obligation to do so.

Sherry R[redacted] cosigned for her brother in law, and has requested that we remove her name from the loan without disclosing it to the buyer (Brother in law). Brother is law (Buyer) has not called or complained about his purchase. Sherry R[redacted] (Cosigner) refuses to tell buyer that she doesn’t want...

to cosign anymore, and would like us to simply erase her name from all signed documents. We explain to her that we cannot forge contracts or make any alterations after being signed, and that she needed to talk to her brother in law to resolve this family matter. Unfortunately, Sherry R[redacted] is not willing to talk to buyer and thinks we can just make the changes internally. We will not commit a felony crime by forging legal documents (Bank loan contract and AZ state registration).   Kamal C[redacted] General Manager | Avondale Toyota Office:  [redacted] | Mobile:  [redacted]

In regards to complaint ID#[redacted] for [redacted]. The decision that was made came from our local Toyota Field Technical Specialist, not Avondale Toyota. Our rep came to the dealership & inspected the vehicle. His final determination was that the vehicle had been abused and it wasn't...

something that would be covered under warranty. Once a determination has been made by Toyota it is out of our hands, they will not cover it. So, I don't think the complaint should be against Avondale Toyota. Our Service director did all he could for [redacted] to get the transmission covered.

Purchased 2014 Toyota Tundra in Aug 2014. However 16k miles later , while backing up from a gas station Front passenger tire fell off rotor. ATTACH WHERE LITTLE CHROME PIECES OF THE LUG NUTS. After some argument on Getting it towed back to Avondale Toyota cause it was covered under platinum extended coverage. Once there was shuffled between 4 different advisors all refusing to further answer questions about the warranty. Then service department refusing to provide a Loaner car even though in our policy it clearly stated loaner car.. After pointing out to service Manger twice in the contract then we allowed to take a loaner car.. When calling on Monday when the Service dept was supposed to check on it first thing, response from service tech was it had not been seen yet. So in driving back to the Dealership to yet again talk with Service Manager. SERVICE Manager unfortunately has not customer service skill sets what so ever.. No friendly, not helpful, seemed mad that we were there asking questions on status of truck. Seemed upset when we pointed out that from Gulf State Toyota had issued a recall on Lug Nuts Seperating cause tire seperate on or potential accidents. The service manager did his best to deflect all responsibility. They again refused to answer any damage assessment questions, coverage, or associate cost.. We are currently still waiting for any resolution on this matter.. We simply were turned away with your Truck will hopefully be ready in a couple of Days...

We at Avondale Toyota pride ourselves on being as transparent to our customers as possible. All of our cars with over a 100,000 miles are sold as-is. It is very difficult to foresee any issues with cars with these miles. The vehicle in question had 141,896 at time of delivery. We offered to repair the motor at our cost or they could trade the vehicle in at an exaggerated amount of $5,000.00. We offer this in these situation to try to benefit our customer. Rather than profit again on the 2nd transaction we offset that by artificially increasing the value of there trade. We have been doing so for about 2 weeks. We have shown them over 50 to 100 cars ranging from the same price to one that would need to have bank financing. In either case we have been more than willing to help.  With the customer knowing she purchased the car with no warranty and also knowing the sale was as-is. We feel Avondale Toyota has no further liability in this case.  If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact the undersigned.
