I am rejecting this response because: the response provided by the company is totally unsatisfactory, if not outright disingenuousHow can Avvo's representative state that she sees no star ratingThat's the first thing one sees when my name is entered and that's the primary reason AVVO existsLet's be clear: AVVO's collection of public information is rudimentary and superficialMy profile has little more than my addressIn my case AVVO's data in no way supports the assignment of a rating, which is subjective and misleading at bestO's intention all cases is to compel the lawyer to 'adopt' their profile and update it with even more personal information and referencesand Eventually the target lawyer is compelled to subscribe to AVVO's rating system for a healthy fee This is a predatory business practiceI was an outstanding attorney and I am proud of my year track record which started with graduation in the top 15% of my law school class and concluded with a dedication to pro bono work that led to changes in the way in which undocumented aliens were held in detention facilitiesI am angry that my good record is besmirched by an "average" rating that has been arbitrarily assigned by a group of advertising shills who know nothing of me, my background, my history, my practice, my firm, my work ethic, my client's satisfaction with the results I achieved, or my partners' respect for my integrity and abilities Avvo's site is a *** *** for an ad agency with a *** "hook" that needs to be outed and eliminated

Avvo did not follow their guidelines This is the set of guidelines I was repeatedly sent by e-mail during my "customer
service" experience where my review was being constantly denied
However, my review met all those guidelines and I explicitly e-mailed them as such I included my review in the e-mails to customer service, I explicitly indicated how my review met their guidelines, and I even revised my review to delete the word "mediation", even though I was talking about a court mediator and not this lawyer as a mediator So that it would be 100% clear the lawyer was hired by me and supposed to have aligned interests Even after all that, Avvo still denied my review
