Rick is the best. I'm on my 4th car with him and he has always been forward, up front and service focused. He has helped me in a pinch. I have sent several people to him and will always recommend working with him. He's a good guy. Definitely worth your while to save money and not overspend with mega-dealerships and go see Rick with AZ Auto Exchange. Rick has a customer for life with me.

I researched vehicles and decided I wanted a used Volvo XC90. [redacted] had the best price of any dealer or private owner in Arizona. [redacted] was extremely easy to deal with and helped me obtain financing. Because I was buying a vehicle with more than 100k miles, I expected to have some upcoming maintenance issues. [redacted] helped us navigate that also. In all of our dealings, he has been straight forward, honest, and helpful. I would buy from him again in a heart beat.

Review: . Misrepresentation .On 03-28-2015. My daughter and I went to AZ Auto Exchange to look at a 2000 BMW 528I. We were told that the car had been completely checked out and maintenance BY there sales person / Mechanic ( ** ) stated it was there best car on the lot. That night we found out that one of the head lights was burned out. The following morning there was a check engine light. I contacted ** that day and he told me that they would take care of the light and the check engine issue ( the cause one of the emission components not working ) just needs reset . Ty reset it and it returned the same day The next day the car started making a rattling noise in the front passenger wheel and a grinding noise in the brakes. We have attempted 6 times as of today 4-21-15 I was suppose to meet Ty at 10:00 am at the lot once again no ** . Finally reached him by text at 10:33 pm . Three of the days there mechanic stood us up not even a phone call to reschedule and they are the ones who set the time and date. I work full time and my daughter is in her last year of high school online works at retail from 8:00am till 12:pm attends a 2nd school for skincare from 2:00pm till 5:30 pm also works a 2nd job Thursday thru Sunday as a hostess in the evenings. So as you can see it takes teamwork to even set aside time to do this. My reason I feel the car was Misrepresented to us is if the car had been completely looked over and maintenance how do you miss a head light (that to replace cost 129.00) dollars or that the 2 air filters that keep dirt from entering the motor are missing. Isn't that part of maintenance. Or the broken off vacuum line on the emission equip. under the hood ? The people at the test center are trained to spot missing vacuum lines or equip? How did it even pass ? The rear brake rotors are so bad they have to be replaced. They did not even give the car a oil change( avg. cost on a BMW )I found is $ 70.00 to $120.00. this would also be when the two air filters are checked From what I have found on line as far as the cost to resolve these issues I'm looking at around $600.00 . And I feel any Dealer that takes any kind of pride in there inventory just because of integrity would have addressed these issues . When you are paying including tax and finance fees $9650.00.dollars you should not expect to have to pay out $600.00 a week later. And for someone that 18 years old its hard enough just trying to get your life started then to have someone do you this way that's wrong.. Shame on you

Thanks for listening .

Regards Steve HawksDesired Settlement: Repair the issues or refund my 18 year old daughter her money for the 2000 BMW 528 I

Review: I put $1100.00 on a down payment for a car at their dealership but with two days the car stopped working. They gave said they would fix any problems on the car and it would only take 2 days. Over a week later I asked for a full refund and no longer wanted the car since it was in the shop longer then the time I had it, the owner said he Couldn't give a refund because his business wasn't doing well and he was broke. He said let us use another car from his lot until the other car was fixed which again he said was only 24 more hours. The car he gave us was not up to code and we took it back. When I took it back he said the car was fixed. 3 days later the car broke down and the tire and axil came off we barely excape an accident. I again told him I wanted my refund and he could have his car. He had the car towed and I still haven't received my refund or a reason why he kept the car. I had to hire a lawyer to help get my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like a Full Refund and an apology for the terrible service and I want to be compensated for my trouble!

They made my first time buying experience really great. I had been shopping around for cars for months! Been to many dealerships where the salesman made me nervous & seemed sketchy. Here I walked on the lot & within minutes I was test driving the car I wanted. The salesman showed me all the cars features & made sure I knew everything about it before I made up my mind. [redacted] was very helpful with the paperwork & giving me all the information I needed to know about payments & broke down all the numbers so I wasn't in the dark about anything. I will definitely refer people here and/or buy again!

Review: We purchased a 1999 BMW with 118,770 miles on it September 2, 2013. Az auto exchange told us numerous times at looking at the car that it was in excellent shape . When we asked about the flashers flashing we were told oh its just the button having dust on it and one the guys working at Az auto exchange was able to make it stop.My wife was excited to drive it to work in [redacted] the next day, but when her and my son got in the car it smelled like gas so she didn't drive it. I pulled the car out of the driveway and gas was everywhere so I drove it to Az auto exchange and they told me it was just a rubber diaphram on the fuel pump and said they fixed it and it was ready to drive. We went and picked up the car and the next day my wife was going to take it but again it had the gas smell and now the service engine light was on. Again we called [redacted] the owner and he assured us it was just something simple to fix. My wife refused to drive the car until we had a trusted mechanic look at the car and tell us if this car was indeed safe to drive as we were assured numerous times from [redacted]. [redacted] r[redacted] did numerous diagnostic tests on the car and called right away and said to return the car back that too many things were wrong with the car naming just a few: gas smell issues, the drive train was going out, electrical issues, number six cylinder was skipping. We drove the car back on September 14, 2003 and discussed and showed [redacted] what the mechanic had said and told him we did not want to keep the car because my wife drives too far to have a car that wasn't fit to drive. At first [redacted] said that our mechanics knew nothing even though my wife assured him that this mechanic is seen by all her co-workers. [redacted] still went on that the mechanic didn't know anything and that some of the issues were just minor even though I show him the noise the car made when putting it in reverse, the car was returned with 118,890 miles(this shows how the car wasn't able to drive). After discussing for hours with [redacted] he said he didn't want to be one of those car owners that were dishonest and that he would take the car back. After he decided to take the car back and sign our paperwork in the same sentence he said he had cash issues and wouldn't be able to give us back right away the $5,500.00 we had given to him. We had paid $3,800.00 in cash and was given $1,700.00 for our 2001 dodge which we asked for back but he said he had already sold it. I was not very happy but didn't want a broken down car either so we left with paperwork that [redacted] signed that he had until October 14, 2013 to give us the $5,500.00 cash back. My wife and I would stop each Saturday to see if maybe by chance he would give us our money but each time he had a excuse even though we brought up to him that on his website he was selling cars all the time but again he would just look at us and give another excuse. It's now Saturday October 19th my wife and I stopped by for our money and again he told us he didn't have the money and to give him another week. This is the most frustrating thing to us as I told [redacted] we weren't rich and that now we were out two cars and cash . The total owed to us is $5,500.00 ($1,700.00 for the trade in and cash of$ 3,800.00.) I would never recommend this auto place to anyone because [redacted] owner of Az auto exchange is shady and I really don't see how he sleeps at night ripping people off like this.Desired Settlement: To give us back $5,500.00 so that we can purchase another car from a reliable dealership.

To Whom It May Concern,

This is reguarding [redacted] and the 99 BMW 323I

that he has a complaint over. A few days after the vehicle was sold the

customer stated that they could smell gas vapors in the car and wanted us to

check it out. He brought it in and we did. We found the fuel pump gasket was

leaking. We replaced the gasket and all was fine. The following weeked [redacted] and

his wife came in wanting to return the car for a full refund because they

simply did not feel comfortable driving the car. We drove the car and did not

feel or see any issues with it. They stated they just wanted there money back.

I told them that we do not offer refunds, however we would sell the car for

them and return the money as soon as it does. I did this to make them happy and

have good customer stisfaction. They insisted that I put it in wrinting with a

final date they would get the refund. I told them I would have it sold within

30 days because 27 days is my average time range for sales. Unfortunitly it has

been longer than 30 days and we still have not sold the car. We have it

advertised on 4 websites, [redacted]. We are doing eveything possible to sell it as fast as possible

and give the customer a full refund. I sincerly appologize it has taken longer

than the 30days, however I guarantee the refund will be available soon.

Please call or write if you have any other

questions,

Sincerly,

Review: I was led to believe that a vehicle I left a deposit on was in good shape with no issues. They advertised it as in "perfect" condition. The car had electrical problems as well as a horrible interior. In addition to bad tires and brakes. I sent a good faith deposit and after being told in writing that I will provide that I would get a refund they reneged. Just another typical shady used car dealer that hides behind their Revdex.com accreditation that any business can purchase. Stay away folks...Desired Settlement: Do what you promised in writing and return my $500 deposit for the car that you have since sold to another sucker.

Business

Response:

This customer bought the BMW in question on eBay. The car was describes accurately. The add stated that the customer must inspect the vehicle prior to bidding ( he did not)The add also stated that the winning customer must pay for the car in full within 7 days of the auction end( he did not). The add also had very clear pictures of the interior (claims it was bad). The BMW runs amazing. No electrical issues ( he couldn't even describe what the electrical issues were). What happened was the customer was not bidding on the car for himself, rather for his sons friend. He put up his money for the deposit, however after 2 weeks, the sons friend did not want the car. He insisted that I refund his deposit or else he would smear my name all over Revdex.com and eBay. He used Revdex.com as a way to black mail me for a refund.( The funny part of this is papal would have refunded his deposit immediately, and he didn't even need to call me!) I told him that I was re-listing the car and would refund him the deposit after I sold it. I did sell the car, and I refunded his deposit even thought he cost me a lot of time, and a few dollars.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I have bought three cars here so far. Great customer service and good vehicles for a good price. No high pressure sales at all. The only non-stressful car buying experience I have ever had. No hidden fees or sneaky tactics. Will never buy anywhere else again.

We purchased a car from AZ Auto X in February 2015. We were given a 45 day temporary registration for the vehicle and we expected to receive the permanent registration with a couple of weeks. We contacted the owner, Rick, several times after more than a month had gone by and we had no word on the registration and plates. Each time we went to the lot or called him, he would just blow us off and say "I don't have it yet...check back in a few days."

Five days before our temporary registration was set to expire, we called and texted Rick several times each day and our calls were ignored. We never received a call back and finally we were unable to leave messages. HE BLOCKED OUR PHONE NUMBER!! We finally called him from another phone number and he answered after just three rings and was startled that it was us. That proves that he was avoiding us and that he had BLOCKED our original phone number.

He finally confirmed that the third party agency had our paperwork and should be getting us our registration and plates soon. We called the agency ourselves and learned that he had just sent the paperwork over earlier that day! So he had been lying to us for over a month saying that they had the paperwork but he had never done it.

I don't appreciate doing business with someone who would treat customer's this way. To top it off, he only paid for three months instead of a year, so we're going to have another out of pocket expense soon.

I don't recommend doing business with this company. Rick has proven to be shady, un-trustworthy, and a liar.
