I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
If the check for $122.00 has not been cashed, I want it returned. If it has been cashed, I want a reimbursement for the total amount. We would also like Bill and AZ Low Cost Computer Repair to stop sending us emails pandering for work.

On 1/25/15 I had gone to [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) to remove a virus on the computer. [redacted] had told me that he had one other computer tech out to remove the virus off his computer and that computer tech also came to the same conclusion as I did. The only way...

to guarantee the virus was gone, was to do a complete Windows 7 reinstall. [redacted] also told us that he had been fighting this virus for 4 months, with no results on removing the virus from his computer. [redacted] did have 4 to 5 so called Virus protections running on his computer and none of them were removing the virus from his computer. No! Virus protection is bad. Too much Virus protections is bad, all you need is 1 virus protection that protects against viruses to protect the computer. Not 4 to 5 virus protection that [redacted] had on the computer. I knew what I needed to do in the 1st hour, but [redacted] refused to let us do the job he called us for. At that point there nothing we could do. When the customer does not like the outcome of 2 different computer techs conclusions but [redacted] would not let us leave so we kept trying to get rid of the Virus. After [redacted] had looked on the internet for his own solution, [redacted] google searched the Virus and everyone on the internet was saying the same thing, this virus could not be removed, without doing a Windows 7 reinstall. [redacted] would not accept the internet solution and then [redacted] foundwhat he thought was an internet solution. I was working & getting paid by the hour from [redacted]. I was getting Paid $35.00 1st Hour & $25.00 every Hour after 1st Hour. We have an A Rating with the Revdex.com. [redacted] would not make the decision to try the so called Internet Fix. [redacted] wanted us to make the decision. I asked [redacted] if he had all his files backed up. [redacted] said he was backing up to some kind of offsite Storage Company. I asked [redacted] if he could guarantee that the virus had not been backed up to the offsite storage company and [redacted] could not guarantee me of that. At this point there was nothing we could do to help [redacted] until he was willing to back up his Data to an External Hard Drive to do the Windows 7 reinstall. We were there several hours, tried several times to let [redacted] backup his data and to the Windows 7 reinstall to get rid of the Virus. In the several hours spent working on [redacted]s computer, [redacted] never told us about an image that could reinstall Windows 7, that might have been another option to us if we had known about the image. I could have backed his data up and reinstalled windows 7 and everything that goes along with that but [redacted] would not let us do that. I can send copies of my phone records if needed that will show the only voice contact I have had with [redacted] is on 1/25/15. Now [redacted] has texted us which again are still on my phone. One Text message said and I quote (WOW not only are you incompetent, you are a coward. I'll start a social media campaign today exposing you for the fraud that you are. Good luck bithch ) this was just one text that [redacted] sent to us. If this person had someone else fix his computer where is the other computer tech's work order? For all we know the virus is still on the computer! I had been trying to leave [redacted]s house for several hours. This was on Sunday 1/25/15. I charged [redacted] a $122.00 on Sunday for 4.5 hours of work according to our AZ Low CostComputer Repair work order. [redacted] gave me 2 Credit cards and both credit cards were DECLINED by First Data the Credit card processing company we use as stated on the work order. [redacted] than gave us a Debit card which was also DECLINED. At this point there was nothing I could do about getting paid, so [redacted]s wife wrote a check. Now we just had 2 credit cards & 1 debit card, all were DECLINED. I took the check from [redacted] ( A[redacted]s ###-###-####  ). Keep this in mind if I cash the check for $122.00 and the check bounces, I get charged $35.00 and [redacted] also get charged $35.00. [redacted] works for or runs A[redacted]s ###-###-#### this company is not a credited Revdex.com business. [redacted] should be managing his money better. Here it is 2/9/14 over 2 weeks ago this happened, and I still have NOT CASHED [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### ) check yet! If [redacted] would check with his bank, [redacted] would find this out to be fact!  The solution to this problem is to have [redacted] check with his bank to see if the check had been cashed. I have the uncashed check from [redacted] in my office. As you can see from the work order [redacted] did sign the work order stating that all work was done to his satisfaction. [redacted] also signed off on the work order as to the 2 credit cards being DECLINED and thecheck we took from him. That check has never been cashed by AZ Low Cost Computer Repair Company. [redacted] also signed off to the right solution to getting his computer fixed. I have enclosed a copies Of the Uncashed Check & work order Thank You [redacted] CEO ###-###-#### Arizona Low Cost Computer Repair We Charge $35.00 1st hr $25.00 Every hr after! Tell us why here...

I am confused!  We uploaded the work order stated by  1) [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### signed off stating that all work was done to [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### satisfaction. 2)We also uploaded the .PDF showing both sides of the uncashed check! as evidence. Now with all the evidence on the table.  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### If we had done such a bad job on his computer. The Question Remain. 1) How come [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### has not canceled the check in Question? 2) Dose [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### even know how much money is even in the bank or account or what checks have cleared his bank. Again the facts are Az Low Cost computer Repair Never received compensation for  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### service call,  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### had 2-Credit cards and 1-Debit Card (DECLINED) this is the reason  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####  check has never been cashed. If [redacted] would call his bank  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) would find this out! If you read  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) Last statement you would find that  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) has no Idea if the check had ever been cashed. [redacted] as a business owner should know how much money the company is worth. As for the email's [redacted] is talking about. Are coming from his complaint his filled with the Revdex.com. I will send the uncashed check to the Revdex.com and let the Revdex.com send [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) the uncashed check. that way  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) can never say that AZ Low Cost Computer Repair. Never sent the uncashed check to [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####). We knew on 1/25/15 after working with  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) that we would not get paid to 4.5 hours of work. Even today we do not think the uncashed check is any good. so with the help from the Revdex.com we have no problem returning  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) check.   At Az Low Cost Computer Repair we get our new customers from our old customers. 100% new customers come from old customers. Customer’s Statement of the Problem:
He asked to "clean up" my computer in addition to getting the printer running again. His "clean up" resulted in my not being able to run off any statements I had previously been able to. In addition,
( [redacted]-Our response to [redacted] )
I setup the printer to the wireless router & than reloaded the printer on the computer but in order to get the wireless printer to work on the computer, I need to remove a lot of protection junk that was blocking the printer communication ports on the computer, keeping us from getting the printer to work, After we had done the printer was printing but advised her that she was out of ink on the printer, [redacted] asked if I had ink for her printer. I told we don't carry ink and she started to get upset with us.
Customer’s Statement of the Problem:
we had an 8:00 a.m. appointment; he showed up unapologetically at 7:40 a.m., worked until 8:55, then wrote on the exit slip he worked until 9:10 and charged for 1 1/2 hours. Then he insisted I sign the slip; I said I didn't want to sign the slip. He intimidated me into doing it, saying he would charge me 2 hours if I didn't sign it and say the work he had had done was satisfactory.
( [redacted]-Our response to [redacted] )
We pride our self on being on time and early, Our customer love to have us come early so they our not waiting and wondering when we are going to show up, Why she got upset with us for being early I don't get it. All our customer fill out our Work Orders same as any other business dose, Why she was giving us a had time I don't know, but she did. As you can see from the work order, [redacted] did sign the work order, after she wrote in the service tech notes, As you can see for yourself! On the work order in the service tech notes: [redacted] Wrote ( Did the work to our satisfaction and than she signed the work order). Note: Work Order Attached to this email. [redacted] was still us set with us beaning early, she only wanted to pay us for 1hr and not the 90min we worked, by all rights I could have charged her 2Hr's that is what [redacted] agreed to before I arrived to do work, But I always prorate the last hour, that is fair to the customer and us.
When I called him later in the day saying I couldn't print items I had previously been able to (even though the printer was working on basic word documents), he said it wasn't his problem and that he did the work he was supposed to. He said I would need to make another appointment, pay another fee and get him out again. In addition, he had recommended and removed my current search engine for another, not explaining I would lose all my bookmarks. This guy has very poor communication skills.
( [redacted]-Our response to [redacted] )
When she called 4 or 5 hours later, I sent 20+min on my cell phone trying to figure out the problem, I was tying to troubleshoot the problem to see if it could be fix over the phone for free, Like she Said in her complaint ( the printer was working on basic word documents ) [redacted] did not know how to communicate or troubleshoot the computer problem over the phone this is normal when you talk to IT Computer tech as you all know very well , So with that in mine, [redacted] computer was printing and [redacted] had put new ink in the printer, She was having problems printing document from the internet, I had told her that could be the way you are printing but I knew I was going nowhere, so we offered to setup anointment for training, In the computer world printing from a computer is one thing, Printing from the internet was another , as everyone knows, due to all the changes coming from Microsoft, When you rely on the customer to be your hands & eyes over the phone troubleshooting, we are going the have communication skill problem, She hast to understand How & Why we were asking ques.
.
When I said I planned to report him to PORA, he said I couldn't because I lived in Sun City.
( [redacted]-Our response to [redacted] )
PORA is the Sun City West Home Owners association, Sun City has a Different Home owners association
His customer service skills were horrible and I believe he took programs off my computer that make it impossible for me to some functions I badly need to do. However, I am afraid to have him back for fear he may do more damage out of retribution.
Complaint ( [redacted]-Our response to [redacted] )
If you way the evidence, the evidence ways for it self!
In conclusion:
1) We did not overcharge [redacted] $48.00 for computer repairs is a fair & honest price to charge for 90min work.
2) She is clearly upset about us binning early for the appointment, There was no reason for to get upset.

3) [redacted] is snow bird, This was the only computer she had with her, She filled out the Revdex.com complaint form with the computer we fixed for her.
4) [redacted] said she could print word Documents, This tells you the printer was working fine
5) [redacted] language in this complaint, is clearly someone not thinking straight
6) [redacted] clearly signed & Wrote ( Did the work to our satisfaction and than she signed the work order )
Thank You!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

While I was unhappy about the business's early arrival (7:40 for and 8:00 a.m. appointment), this was not the "meat" of my complaint.  I have since joined the Computer Club and obtained help where I learned this tech removed my Adobe Acrobat which prevented me from printing any PDF files and also removed all my "ad blockers" which now causes me to deal with all kinds of unwanted pop-up ads.  In addition, he removed "Firefox" as my internet search engine which contained all my bookmarks, saying that Explorer is superior to Firefox.  I have had re-install most of what he had taken off.  I have also learned Firefox is superior to Explorer.

I believe that his derogatory remarks about me in his response says more about his lack of professionalism than any of the other behaviors I might document.  However, I must again dispute his ability to tell time.  He spent an hour and ten minutes with me, not anywhere near an hour and a half and some of that time was discussing my reluctance (at first refusal until he threatened to charge me for a full two hours) to sign off on his work.  I did not want to sign off on approval of his work but I felt he held me hostage because he threatened he would charge me two hours if I refused to sign.  As for his spending 20 additional minutes on the phone with me, our conversation lasted eight minutes at the most.  I can look up on my cell phone records and document the length of the conversation, as he probably can.  It certainly was not 20 minutes.

Any time a company holds a client hostage to sign off on approval, threatening to charge more for the service if the sign-off does not occur,  as happened with AZ Low Cost Computer Repair, I feel they need to be reported to Revdex.com and that the Revdex.com needs to take appropriate action.

There have been no emails from AZ Low Cost Computer Repair to [redacted] after 1/25/15 from us!Here is the solution! With help from the Revdex.com. We only charge $35.00 1st hr & $25.00 every hr after 1st hour. We made our business on 100% customer satisfaction. Now with that in mind. We will also offer  [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) a free 2hr computer checkup good for 60 days from today 2/18/15Thank You![redacted] CEO###-###-####

Thank You!

Bill Mason Head tech for Az Low Cost Computer Repair is very Honest, Reliable, Friendly, Dependable to get the computer fixed right the 1st time. always there when you need him on time.

This

conversation is very interesting.

Again the issues were we fixed her computer to her

satisfaction according to [redacted] & the work order she signed without

help from us. The computer was cleaned up, the printer was fixed! I checked my

cell phone record and it was a little over 20min, but that is not here or

there, most computer company's start out at least $50.00 per hour and go up,

see different rates below the Firefox! We charged her 48.00 for 90min. Our

price was fair to us and her. We normally charge $35.00 1st hour & $25.00

every hour after 1st hour. We offered Carolyn to set up an

appointment to come back to her apartment to train her during our 20+min cell

phone conversation. As [redacted] said in her response, she joined the computer

club to learn how to use here computer. This is no difference than what we

offered her to do on our 20min cell phone conversation. This also confirms her

computer skills & knowledge. See Below for Firefox Security issues. This is

straight from Firefox website. [redacted] gave me permission to remove

Firefox from her computer. If you look through Carolyn's complaint, you will

see here true nature. If we were holding [redacted] hostage why did she

not call the Sherriff or Police and file a complaint, with them. There has

been no complaint filled with any law enforcement agency. This whole thing

does not make any sense. She is arguing over 90min of our time for $48.00.

I don't get it, printer works, computer works, she is sill upset about 90min

& $48.00. On the work order attached to this complaint she did write on the

work order & she signed it. [redacted] said she never signed the work

order! but she did! This is a good example of a customer that is never

satisfied with anyone who might do work for her. [redacted] is looking for no

resolution to her issues. [redacted] is looking to put a black mark on a very good

& highly rated honest computer repair company. This is not right or

just! So AZ Low Cost Computer Repair Company would like to take

the first step to a resolution!

Here is what we will do for [redacted] in good Faith!

1) We will give her 1 hour of computer in home support for free!

This could be in the form of training or computer repair, parts would not be

included.

That is a $35.00 1 hour value to her!

2) All we ask is that she fill out our work order form before we do any work.

Impact key:Critical: Vulnerability can be used to run attacker code and

Vulnerability can be used to gather sensitive data from sites in other windows

or inject data or code into those sites, requiring no more than normal browsing

actions. Moderate: Vulnerabilities that would otherwise be High or Critical

except they only work in uncommon non-default configurations or require the

user to perform complicated and/or unlikely steps. Low: Minor security

vulnerabilities such as Denial of Service attacks, minor data leaks, or spoofs.

Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

[redacted]I would like to ask that the business provide the paper where I signed off on his work; it will show that I qualified my statement.  I added words after my signature stating I had doubts about the work.  The business is being dishonest about the time spent at my home.  I do not want the business back in my home working again on my computer, knowing the significant damage that was done the first time.  More than anything, I want a black mark on this company's name for the bad service provided, the way in which he coerced me into signing off on the work completion slip, and the unprofessional behavior.  I don't care about the money.  I simply think companies  like this should not be in business taking advantage of people and providing substandard service.  He messed up my computer so much by removing programs (Adobe and ad blockers) and then charged me for an hour and a half service when he provided an hour and ten minutes, then, when I resisted signing the slip, threatened to charge me two hours if I failed to sign it.  That is intimidation in my book.  I don't want another consumer to be hurt by this company.

[redacted], owner of the above listed company, came to my home on the 24th of August. Told me that my computer was obsolete and that I needed a new laptop. He just happened to have one in the his car that cost him 229.00 from Dell and he charged me 600 dollars for mine. Then he charged me 100.00 to program the laptop. He left after a little over an hour and before he could get out of Sun City West the computer quit working. All of the writing on the compute went to real tiny letters. You couldn't see what it said. I called the tech to tell him to come back and fix it and he told me that I would have to pay him to come back. Never mind that I had just given him 600 dollars and the computer was already useless to me. He told me that it was a soft ware problem. I think the problem was his greed and arrogance. I urge anyone not to use this business. We are all at the mercy of people like him. I hope this saves someone from not having to endure what I went through.

I have been a customer of Az. Low Cost Computer Repair for about four years now. He has always been on time and many times 10 to 15 minutes early. He has always fixed any problems quickly and with lasting results. Here in Sun City West I recommend this service to as many people as I can, in fact just in my immediate area he has many repeat customers. His prices are very reasonable and fair. I give this company A+ for all he does.
