I have used AZ Low Cost Computer Repair for several years now to service all my computer repairs, upgrades, and updated purchase needs. I have found them reliable, honest, and extremely helpful in guiding me to the best purchases for my needs. They are prompt in showing up for the appointed time and do not waste time in doing the repair/upgrade. I do not feel I have been overcharged on any service performed nor have I been sold any items I did not need. I have highly recommended them to friends who are also pleased with their services.

We're happy with Bill's service and costs. He was very prompt. He was able to come on a Saturday. He didn't waste any time. He was able to recover all our photos and documents after our computer had crashed.

So capable and responsive, easy to work with. Our computers are functioning so much better now.

Review: He asked to "clean up" my computer in addition to getting the printer running again. His "clean up" resulted in my not being able to run off any statements I had previously been able to. In addition, we had an 8:00 a.m. appointment; he showed up unapologetically at 7:40 a.m., worked until 8:55, then wrote on the exit slip he worked until 9:10 and charged for 1 1/2 hours. Then he insisted I sign the slip; I said I didn't want to sign the slip. He intimidated me into doing it, saying he would charge me 2 hours if I didn't sign it and say the work he had had done was satisfactory. When I called him later in the day saying I couldn't print items I had previously been able to (even though the printer was working on basic word documents), he said it wasn't his problem and that he did the work he was supposed to. He said I would need to make another appointment, pay another fee and get him out again.

In addition, he had recommended and removed my current search engine for another, not explaining I would lose all my bookmarks. This guy has very poor communication skills. When I said I planned to report him to PORA, he said I couldn't because I lived in Sun City. His customer service skills were horrible and I believe he took programs off my computer that make it impossible for me to some functions I badly need to do. However, I am afraid to have him back for fear he may do more damage out of retribution.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund (at least a partial) and I would like this complaint to be on file so others can see how he operates.

He has not only proven to be a true professional, his technical knowledge is off the chart. Never once has he attempted to sell us something we didn't need, and more often than not was able to fix the problem in minimal time.

In addition, he has never raised his hourly charge in the six years we have been using him as the only computer repair service.

I have used this company for all my computer repairs for approximately 5 years now I find them to be dependable, on time and up to date on the latest. Sometimes I can get the information I need with just a phone call without being charged and never feel like I'm being charged for something I didn't need. Keep up the good work

I was incredibly lucky to find [redacted]. Not only did he deliver to my home a new computer, he set it up, transferred all my files from my old computer and taught me how to use it. Plus, his years of experience enable him to diagnose and solve any software or hardware problem in minutes and recommend the best course of action. His service cost is very reasonable, especially since he works so fast and so efficiently. He can provide you with any kind of computer, speakers, printers, external hard drives -- just any equipment you need, delivered to your home. He also sets up Roku streaming. I am extremely pleased with this business and will continue to call [redacted] when I need repairs/advice/new equipment.

Review: On 1-25-15, we called AZ Low Cost Computer Repair to resolve a virus problem on a computer in our office and to configure a second computer.I told him we have antivirus programs, not free or trial versions. He convinced me to allow him to delete our paid, full version software and install [redacted] through [redacted]. He also went through the computer deleting numerous other files. After 2-3 hours he was unsuccessful. I reinstalled our paid version and asked him to manually delete the corrupted file according to instructions from numerous internet tech sites and told him which file it was and where in the registry it was. It took him an hour to find it. When he did, a message box appeared. "Are you sure you want to delete this file"? Now hold on to your seats folks. He looked at me and said, "I'm going to let you make the call on this one." I was shocked. He wanted ME to make the decision. I said, "If you have to ask the client what to do, the answer has to be NO". At this point I was fully convinced he was not competent and asked him to stop. I sat at the computer and found I could not open any picture files. He said the virus had corrupted them. I told him that we have a cloud backup. He said the cloud backs up the viruses as well. I told him the backup had not run since he started deleting things and that the files were just fine before he got there. Most of what Mr. [redacted] told me did not make sense and I told him so. I was not sure so I paid him for his time and told him to leave. Within 20 minutes, I was able to reinstall my image editing program and could open all my photo files. He had deleted something he wasn't suppose to. I had someone else delete the corrupted file (virus) and we've had no problems since. Mr. [redacted] either lied to me or is incompetent. He did not fix the computer and, in fact, created problems we had to resolve after he left. He didn't respond to several requests for a refund and instead chose to threat us if we used social media to make people aware of his business practices.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of $122.00 since Mr. [redacted] was not able to resolve the problem he was called for and left the computer in a worse condition.

On 1/25/15 I had gone to [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) to remove a virus on the computer. [redacted] had told me that he had one other computer tech out to remove the virus off his computer and that computer tech also came to the same conclusion as I did. The only way to guarantee the virus was gone, was to do a complete Windows 7 reinstall. [redacted] also told us that he had been fighting this virus for 4 months, with no results on removing the virus from his computer. [redacted] did have 4 to 5 so called Virus protections running on his computer and none of them were removing the virus from his computer. No! Virus protection is bad. Too much Virus protections is bad, all you need is 1 virus protection that protects against viruses to protect the computer. Not 4 to 5 virus protection that [redacted] had on the computer. I knew what I needed to do in the 1st hour, but [redacted] refused to let us do the job he called us for. At that point there nothing we could do. When the customer does not like the outcome of 2 different computer techs conclusions but [redacted] would not let us leave so we kept trying to get rid of the Virus. After [redacted] had looked on the internet for his own solution, [redacted] google searched the Virus and everyone on the internet was saying the same thing, this virus could not be removed, without doing a Windows 7 reinstall. [redacted] would not accept the internet solution and then [redacted] foundwhat he thought was an internet solution. I was working & getting paid by the hour from [redacted]. I was getting Paid $35.00 1st Hour & $25.00 every Hour after 1st Hour. We have an A Rating with the Revdex.com. [redacted] would not make the decision to try the so called Internet Fix. [redacted] wanted us to make the decision. I asked [redacted] if he had all his files backed up. [redacted] said he was backing up to some kind of offsite Storage Company. I asked [redacted] if he could guarantee that the virus had not been backed up to the offsite storage company and [redacted] could not guarantee me of that. At this point there was nothing we could do to help [redacted] until he was willing to back up his Data to an External Hard Drive to do the Windows 7 reinstall. We were there several hours, tried several times to let [redacted] backup his data and to the Windows 7 reinstall to get rid of the Virus. In the several hours spent working on [redacted]s computer, [redacted] never told us about an image that could reinstall Windows 7, that might have been another option to us if we had known about the image. I could have backed his data up and reinstalled windows 7 and everything that goes along with that but [redacted] would not let us do that. I can send copies of my phone records if needed that will show the only voice contact I have had with [redacted] is on 1/25/15. Now [redacted] has texted us which again are still on my phone. One Text message said and I quote (WOW not only are you incompetent, you are a coward. I'll start a social media campaign today exposing you for the fraud that you are. Good luck bithch ) this was just one text that [redacted] sent to us. If this person had someone else fix his computer where is the other computer tech's work order? For all we know the virus is still on the computer! I had been trying to leave [redacted]s house for several hours. This was on Sunday 1/25/15. I charged [redacted] a $122.00 on Sunday for 4.5 hours of work according to our AZ Low CostComputer Repair work order. [redacted] gave me 2 Credit cards and both credit cards were DECLINED by First Data the Credit card processing company we use as stated on the work order. [redacted] than gave us a Debit card which was also DECLINED. At this point there was nothing I could do about getting paid, so [redacted]s wife wrote a check. Now we just had 2 credit cards & 1 debit card, all were DECLINED. I took the check from [redacted] ( A[redacted]s ###-###-#### ). Keep this in mind if I cash the check for $122.00 and the check bounces, I get charged $35.00 and [redacted] also get charged $35.00. [redacted] works for or runs A[redacted]s ###-###-#### this company is not a credited Revdex.com business. [redacted] should be managing his money better. Here it is 2/9/14 over 2 weeks ago this happened, and I still have NOT CASHED [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### ) check yet! If [redacted] would check with his bank, [redacted] would find this out to be fact! The solution to this problem is to have [redacted] check with his bank to see if the check had been cashed. I have the uncashed check from [redacted] in my office. As you can see from the work order [redacted] did sign the work order stating that all work was done to his satisfaction. [redacted] also signed off on the work order as to the 2 credit cards being DECLINED and thecheck we took from him. That check has never been cashed by AZ Low Cost Computer Repair Company. [redacted] also signed off to the right solution to getting his computer fixed. We uploaded the work order stated by 1) [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### signed off stating that all work was done to [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### satisfaction. 2)We also uploaded the .PDF showing both sides of the uncashed check! as evidence. Now with all the evidence on the table. [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### If we had done such a bad job on his computer. The Question Remain. 1) How come [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### has not canceled the check in Question? 2) Dose [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### even know how much money is even in the bank or account or what checks have cleared his bank. Again the facts are Az Low Cost computer Repair Never received compensation for [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### service call, [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### had 2-Credit cards and 1-Debit Card (DECLINED) this is the reason [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-#### check has never been cashed. If [redacted] would call his bank [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) would find this out! If you read [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) Last statement you would find that [redacted] (A[redacted]s ###-###-####) has no Idea if the check had ever been cashed. [redacted] as a business owner should know how much money the company is worth. As for the email's [redacted] is talking about. Are coming from his complaint his filled with the Revdex.com. There have been no emails from AZ Low Cost Computer Repair to [redacted] after 1/25/15 from us!Here is the solution! With help from the Revdex.com. At Az Low Cost Computer Repair we get our new customers from our old customers. 100% new customers come from old customers. We only charge $35.00 1st hr & $25.00 every hr after 1st hour.
