I called B & L Plumbing on a Saturday for a leak under my kitchen sink The girl who answered the phone took all my info and said she would have a technician at my home between and pm that day At 5:when no one had showed up or called I again called them and got a voice mail for after hours service, however, I was unable to leave a message because their box was full A few minutes later they did call me back the girl called her technician and then told me he would be there with in minutes At 6: over minutes later the technician called and told me he would be another - minutes I at that time told them to forget it all together

I am a brand new home owner and immediately had some plumbing issuesThey came out to help replace a waste line and soon found out that it was a much larger problem that the seller had not revealedB & L Plumbing gave superb pricing on the initial work and when a bigger problem developed they did whatever they could to help without raising the quoteWhen a potential legal problem arose they stopped work and provided sound advice and counsel to an inexperienced home owner which potentially cost them more work and time as the seller was forced to resolve the problem and they lost businessIt is hard to find a business today that places ethics and the consumer above potential financial gainsThey are a remarkable company and everyone I know, including relatives, will be referred to this superb business

B&L Plumbing is top notch and I am a life time customer! They recently completed their 2nd job for me They take the stress and guess work out of it! Their pricing structure makes it affordable and I love that they don't have secret pricing or are under pressure to upsell things that don't need to be fixed In a world where that has become a common practice, I sure appreciate that B&L skips that part! My technician, Nick, is fantastic! He is super knowledgeable, kind, and excellent at what he does! I will recommend them to friends, family and anyone who I bump into at the grocery store Thank you B&L, you guys are truly doing this right!

My sewer backed up into my basement in January. [redacted] recommended them to me. There job was to locate the sewer line in my backyard, install a clean out, and put my yard back into shape it was in prior to dig. First, they said they were going to start on Friday. They ended up starting on Monday. They ended up digging three 8 foot holes in my backyard, until they finally found the sewer line. It took them three days to find the line, because the went off the job on Tuesday, and came back to work on Wednesday. There was a different crew each day, and they pulled the crew off again on Thursday. They came out on Friday and "finished" filling in the holes. My yard looked like a bomb went off in it. That is even what the City of Colorado Springs inspector said when he came out to inspect. On the clean outs, they left me round covers for a square pipe. They literally destroyed my landscaping, and it cost $2000 to repair, including sprinkler system. I have pictures.

I would like to preface this with the work that was done was satisfactory.
The complaint involves billing and charges thereafter.
The technician explained a "trip" charge beforehand which is acceptable and upon assessing the situation he deemed that the initial replacement of the hose bib was not necessary and that all we needed "repaired" was the packing nut. He proceeded to go to his truck and grab two (2) monkey wrenches and tighten it. Problem solved.
All of this took all of about 5-10 minutes. As he is invoicing me, he tells me that the trip charge was $54, and for him to go and grab the tools was a minimum charge of $67.50... WOW! for tightening a packing nut with two monkey wrenches. I questioned the technician about this and he said there was nothing he could do as his boss said if he has to pull tools off of the truck, there is a minimum charge of $67.50. Disgruntled, I paid the technician and called the office to verify and ask to speak to a manager, but they were "in a meeting." I explained my concern as I felt this was a bit steep for the work that was done and that the trip charge was understandable, but the rest of the charge was not logical. Why not charge a pro-rated labor rate for the time he was there for such a simple fix? Anyhow, if you choose to use these guys, be prepared for hidden charges and a lack of customer service from management. I will be not be using them again and will be sure to tell all of my friends about this too. It's a shame when I found these guys through the Revdex.com with an A+ rating - and now it has come to this...

We have used B&L Plumbing services since 2014.
Our house was recently on the market for sale and we had been set to close until we received late documentation/information that our house was in noncompliance for work that was completed and had not yet been cleared by Pikes Peak Regional.
B&L personally handled our noncompliance issue with Regional and was resolved within one business day. This special thanks goes out to Gene, Chelsea and Carolyn. You all were impressively patient, accommodating, and understanding to our unique situation.
Gene, you really took initiative for what was an already busy Friday for the Company's schedule, and personally made sure our house was top priority. It is/was refreshing and encouraging to have someone be as understanding and dedicated as you all were! Thank-You!!

[redacted] from B&L Plumbing did an excellent job. He called ahead the morning of the job to reconfirm. He arrived 10 minutes into his two hour block of time. He was very courteous and professional. He completed the job of fixing the dripping tub faucet in a very short period of time. The repair was a little expensive, but considering that he replaced the entire Delta single handle tub & shower cartridge, I really can't complain. The invoice showed a standard price for the part of $259, but I was only charged $188.32. I would not hesitate to use B&L Plumbing again in the future.

The Home Advisor recommended B&L Plumbing, I called them, and they responded by sending their best service technician to fix two faucet leaks and replace three toilets. Tom was a complete professional, courteous, responsive, and most competent. I will definitely refer B&L Plumbing to friends and family while keeping them in my contact list for future plumbing problems.

I checked on some of his findings and they were completely accurate. When finished, he showed me exactly what had been done and there were no surprise problems or expenses. .
