Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/10/05) */
received by email
Hi, YvetteI checked my customer service system, and here's what I found
For order SUPXXXXX, this buyer has accepted and received a refund of $for this issue, processed on September
For order SUPXXXXX, the
buyer did not provide any detailed report of issues, just the general comment they they had issues with "all items"
I checked the conditions statement posted on this lot, and it is as follows:
RETURNS: Returned merchandise was sold at retail, but returned by the customerMany customer returns are damagedUnless the condition of a specific item in this lot is explicitly stated, you should not make any assumptions about it other than that it may be ripped, torn, scratched, non-functional or otherwise damagedDo not make any assumptions regarding what percentage of the lot is saleable in its current condition - all customer return items are sold AS-ISPlease read the listing description for any additional details regarding the condition of the items in the lotIt should be assumed that the items are uninspected by the seller unless otherwise stated in the listing description
These are liquidation lots, sold at 12% of retail valueBuyers in this space generally know what to expectThe seller has responded that they have sold thousands of lots just like this one, and haven't had an issue with any other buyerSo I think this buyer had unreasonable expectations
-***

Dear Buyer,
Thank you for your inquiryWe are sorry to learn your order arrived two pallets shortWe sent the necessary information to Target and they refunded you the full amount of the loss as a percentage of what you paid for the orderPlease note, no variance was removed in the calculation
since the issue was shipping related and not in your controlWe apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you will continue to purchase again
Best,
B-Stock

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I received the same response last week without any serious action.Sincerely,*** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/12/08) */
Hi, [redacted] I have more information about this report.
B-Stock Supply is a liquidation platform where sellers can sell every possible condition of inventory, this ranges from new, fully functional, to heavily damaged or recycled.
This...

buyer bid on merchandise described as Salvage Condition, which is the worst condition on our platform, usually reserved for heavily damaged items that may or may not have been harvested for parts. The images were listed as "Stock images" and the listing said in its description: "Items may possess cracks, chips, missing components, broken components, non-functioning components, water damage, excessive wear, engraving, and aftermarket parts".
The seller listed this specific lot with items described as broken with "missing components, broken components, non-functioning components ... and aftermarket parts". In fact, this is what the buyer received. Specifically, with this lot the parts that were missing on most of the units were screens and some of the internal components.
If buyers wish to purchase Salvage Condition inventory on our platform they should beware that the inventory will be damaged and missing parts so they should bid accordingly. In this case, the final bid price was $25 per unit (iPhone) which further supports the description of the inventory.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/12/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Seller listed lot as salvage but what I received were empty cases, how come empty cases are considered as salvage? About pictures, this is what the ad said "The pictures are stock photos and are a general reference to give you an idea what the lot will look like." all the pictures on this lot had screen and some cracked, but what I received are empty cases and only 3-4 phones came with screen and the rest empty cases. This is very bad, I wouldn't recommend any to this site. I still have an account because they still have my money. They choose to do only bank wire because they sellers are not trusted. Seller who sold this lot to me advised me to sell the same item back on bstock to another buyer, how is that a good business? I would need my $1000 refund.

[redacted], this on has been resolved!

The seller has agreed to allow a return for full refund.  The buyer has agreed that this is an adequate resolution.  Will you check up with them, and if they concur, mark the case as resolved?

-[redacted].

Dear Buyer,
Thank you for your correspondence. We are sorry to learn of the issues with your recent order on our B-Stock Supply platform. We will be reaching out to you directly to resolve the issue.
Best,
B-Stock

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2016/01/07) */
I can confirm that this buyer has been credited $279.76 for the two missing phones. I am not sure if a check has yet been mailed, but if it has not, I will make sure it happens.
However, after notifying the buyer of the approved credit for...

the missing phones, he also requested additional compensation based upon the product mix. The offering sold was this: "HTC One M8 & M9, HTC One Max, HTC Droid DNA & More, Mixed Carriers - 42 Units - Grade B - Louisville, KY". It appears as if he was expecting some ratio of some models versus others. I don't have a good sense of the values of the various mixes, and the buyer did not specify in the dispute an amount he thinks is reasonable. Thus, the seller has denied the rest of the claim, based upon the correct number of phones delivered, after the missing 2 were credited.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I never received any type of refund. I'm not sure what the company is claiming but in my knowledge I never received any form of compensation for the defective lot. I would appreciate some form of proof for the refund. Thank you Sincerely,[redacted]

Hello [redacted],

Hi, Maite.
I'm disappointed that Mr. [redacted] felt the need to submit a Revdex.com dispute. In particular, he did so after we have reached a resolution. His claims of "taking too long" and "been over a month" don't bear out, as he submitted his...

report on September 29, and we were in communication with him right away.
In any event, here are the key communication points between us which will verify that we have resolved this to each party's satisfaction, and I hope that based upon this information, you will be in a position to close this dispute successfully:
Thursday, October 15, Mr [redacted] wrote:
"Just to be close this and move on I'm OK with $1500 and I wont and I don't want to deal with b stock at all

Saturday, October 17, I wrote:

And then he gave his address. His check has been mailed.
Please let me know if you need any further information. Thanks!
