I ordered a backdrop from Backdrop Outlet in August of 2023, my credit card was charged immediately. After waiting several weeks, I inquired when it would be shipped. I was told that the material was out of stock but would ship as soon as it was available. It is now February of 2024, and I still do not have the backdrop (Order #462976). The only response I get to any inquiries is that I will hear back within 72 hours. What a scam.

Backdrop Outlet charged my credit card immediately for an order, then a full week later they notified me that they were out of stock and said it could take weeks before they'd get the itemThat meant it could take an additional to weeks before I would receive it -- totaling to weeks after my credit card had been chargedI cancelled the order and was told that the refund would be credited to my credit cardIt is weeks since that promise was made and the charge is still on my credit card In the meantime I had ordered other itemsIt is now one month later and that merchandise has NOT been receivedI emailed and calledThe items haven't even been shipped yetAgain they are out of stock and don't expect to have them in stock for an additional to weeks totaling to weeks for me to receive the orderSo, I cancelled that order too, and have been promised a refund, but now I am extremely worried, since the previous refund was promised and has not materialized I just want to warn customers who are thinking of ordering from Backdrop OutletI sure wish I had checked their Revdex.com rating before I had ordered because there are a lot of negative reviews for this business! I'll sure check Revdex.com in the future

I spoke with a man named *** yesterday from Backdrop Outlet and he said at the time that he was returning my call (4:pm on 2/4/15) he had just handed the financial manager a note saying that my refund needed to be processed right then and there He said the financial manager was processing it that day (yesterday, 2/4/15) and that I should see a refund on my credit card account within the next couple of days As of right now, 2/5/15, I do not have my refund It is frustrating that they say it has already been done when in fact it hasn't They fixed the paperwork and the info on my account online showing the discounted prices but they HAVE NOT actually given me my refund I have the credit card statements to prove it

I have received the final shipment on 2-18-The backdrop that was sent to me does not look like the product I orderedThe color scheme was very different from what was shown on the websiteI have called the company and they told me to send them a picture of the product shipped to meI will be sending them a picture of what was shipped.

To Whom It May Concern:On January 18th we received a call from the customer stating that they want something brighter for the floor and that it was too dark We requested photographs to see what was wrong with the image Then on January 20th customer emailed us saying the product smelt
horrible, so we told him we would be glad to accept his return if there is something wrong with the backdrop When we received the floor there was no oder that emitted from the floor In these cases we normally charge a restocking fee, but decided not to for the customer We gave him the full amount as a gift card and absorbed all the costs for shipping the items to themWe have posted on our site that all items ordered can only be returned for store credit The reason for this policy that is posted on our website is because customers in the past have ordered products, photographed with them, and then return them saying they can’t use it anymore and using us as a rental companyWe have not experienced this concern regarding the floors from other photographers.Thanks,Backdrop Outlet
