I am rejecting this response because: I sent another email on 09/11/ I posted twice on their Facebook Page I sent a message on Facebook Messenger I have not received any reply on any of these messagesWe have not received our order of hazel nut trees & t-shirt either

We are currently shipping our backordered trees from last summerWe are about weeks behind schedule due to the rain, but all backorders will be shipped we hope by the end of the month.As stated on our website, we do not offer refunds and sometimes it can take up to two years for orders to be filled due to the experimental nature of our plants.Your order will be shippedI will move it to the top of our list and hopefully get it out by this weekendHope this Helps,Megan [redacted] Greenhouse Manager

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI do in all sincerity hope that they do in fact ship the plants this time (according to my calendar it is fall so they should arrive soon)So I will accept their response rather than drag this out by 1) pointing out that I never received any plants so I was not asking for a 'refund on plants', but a refund of my order payment for plants which I read and understood would arrive the same year I bought themTherefore, I will change plans again and find a spot for them on my farm2) If this "business" is so short-handed and far behind, they may want to think about closing their order site temporarily and also disclosing to their customers that once the bill is paid and you go into their que it is anyone's guess when their plants will actually be shipped to arrive3) Also, if they are so far behind on orders they may want to rethink refunding money to customers who do not receive promised product thereby freeing up stock to fill orders more quickly.4) It really needs to be said that it is a sad Business that only responds to their customers once they have made a complaint through the Revdex.comIt should be noted, they will NOT get any referrals of business from me

We are a small family business and have had to lay off all of our extra employees this yearWe are shipping orders as quickly as possibleYour order is int he queue and I will get it shipped asap.Sadly sometimes it does take us time to prepare and ship certain orders, which is why our shipping policy states that sometimes it takes up to years to ship an orderI will however see if I can accelerate your order and move it up on the queueMegan [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.IF this company would have advised us at any time that it takes up to years to fill their orders, I would not have had to resort to asking for help from the Revdex.com There is no where on their website or order forms that I could find that advises this information I am anxious to see what we receive when our order is shipped We ordered a t-shirt that we have never received along with hazel nut trees I'm wondering what quality of product we are going to receive.I want to thank you for getting a response from this company and hopefully they will send our complete order If they do not send our complete order I will have to contact you again since they do not reply to any of my emails, letters, or phone calls

I am rejecting this response because: I actually did accept a plant shipment reluctantlyThat was three years agoAfter being told twice that they were coming (twice)and then never receiving them I felt it had been too long and that I just wanted the money that I sentthere is no excuse for this type of business: experimental farm, chaos in the office, strict no return policy...I have heard many from your office I am tired of dealing with this and I will just accept a refund at this pointYour chance to redeem your reputation with the promise of replacement plants has come and gone over the past three years

I am rejecting this response because:
The two-year shipping "policy" was never made clear at any point during the transaction. I placed the order nearly a YEAR before I needed the plants for a client. I was able to attain the client's patience for that time. Alas, the client's patience has expired and the plants are no longer relevant for the job. I was prepared to maintain my own patience and just keep the plants until my patience was also exhausted. I understand you are a small family-run business. Please understand that I am also a small sole proprietor business. I understand the challenges of running a small business, but I would never treat my customers this way. I am the squeaky wheel getting the oil, and please understand that I don't like being the "squeaky wheel." As I said before since these plants were for a job that has come and gone, I would prefer a full refund. If that isn't remotely possible I am going to need a guaranteed delivery date and a guarantee of live plants because it seems that there are also complaints of low survival rates with your mail order plants as well

I am rejecting this response because:When one orders live plants from a nursery business, one can reasonably expect them to ship (at the very least!) that year. I can accept that sometimes a business might sell more than they can fulfill. It is then very reasonable for the consumer to expect a refund. It's not adequate to (only now) assert that fulfillment might take up to years, especially with the word "Remember", as if that policy appears on your web site and I should have knownIt doesn't. I would bend over backwards to accommodate a small business that does the kind of work Badgersett does, but not when they don't even feel the need to respond to my very reasonable emails with an apology or explanation until they've received a complaint to the Revdex.com. If you want to ignore emails, that's generally bad business but up to you--but it's not ok to ignore ones from someone who's money you have taken

Thank you for your response to our suggestion I am sorry that it was not clear to you that we are a very small business and sometimes we have difficulty responding to communications, especially when we have staff turn overAnd have a backlog of outstanding emails about months long.I will of course talk to Philip about your order and see if we can come to an arrangement.In the meantime I checked on our website for our order terms and did find the link to our explanation of our refund and shipping policy. HI, I really don't think I can get permission to change our refund policy in this instanceI'm sorry that it wasn't made clear by our pervious staff and I will try to fix that on our website asap.Please let me know your preferred delivery window and I'll work on it.As to the live plants, we know that we have had issuesWe addressed that in the shipping process by adding more packing material and labels to protect them from being dried in transit.I hope this helps, Megan ***Greenhouse Manager

Hello, I am sorry that our no refund policy is not acceptable for youWe are an experimental operation and our plants are grown and shipped to order.As of last summer I knew that you refused our offer to reship plants and understood that we do not refund on plant material.As I offered last
