Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep Reviews (21)

[redacted] has been instructed that if she would like to have the vehicle bought back she would have to take it up with FCA, the corporation handles thisThe customer was offered a discounted repair bill and declined to have the vehicle repaired at the dealership

My complaint remains the same against this businessThey several times gave me offers in writing, but once I got to dealership, they retracted themTheir reasoning was: only good for a few hours sorry, I made a mistake I used the wrong numbers I wasn't at liberty to offer you that That car is completely broken now This continued on and on for weeks This is completely dishonest and maybe against the lawI did try way early after purchase (weeks), when I found out about their dishonesty on my new vehicle, to rectify the problemI have continued my complaints and searches for assistance for two and a half months!

No he will not be

[redacted] was notified in writing days after purchasing her vehicle that we could not obtain financingA day recession notice was sent to her as well at the same time [redacted] told us that her current vehicle was a total loss and would be paid in fullShe was never able to provide us the proof and the loan was denied

I am rejecting this response because: I need to know what this "tool" is that was needed to diagnose the fuelThe name of it, a picture of it and description of how it is used to diagnose the supposed "contaminated" fuel. What is so specialized about "the tool" that it took over a month to obtain? I am totally aware that diesel vehicles currently come with green fuel caps to represent it is diesel fuelThe question was why did the dealership feel it necessary to replace my original black one with a green one, just to make my vehicle "current"?Respectfully, [redacted] ***

There are only questions 1.Repair ordered opened on OctWe were waiting for a tool and customer was to pick up the vehicle and bring back once tool was availableCustomer just left the vehicle here since she had a rental to drive 2.Invoice was closed because the customer was to pick up the vehicle and bring backOnce tool arrived and vehicle was still here we opened another repair order to do the test 3.The fuel caps for diesel trucks come with green colored caps to signify diesel to match the green colored fuel pumps at the gas stations

I am rejecting this response because: I never recieved the statement and after I asked multiple people for the recession notice and was denied every single time until I was contacted my a 3rd partyMy credit was continuously ran even months later because the dealership was still attempting to find financing because I refused to voluntarily unwind the deal

As much as I like to help customer regrading his complaint we cant due to not understanding his concernson his complaint he mentions he put down dollars but on the contract he only put dollaralso his payment went up due to purchasing a new car

Mr***,
Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep has not performed any service work or repair work to your vehicle since your purchased the vehicleThe Warranty Process that we follow is created by FCA and Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep has to implement the Warranty ProcessI understand your frustration, but
since both of the issues you have states are non warrantable repairs, Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep will not be participating in any type of refund or no cost repairs
The Service Manager has left a voice mail also to discuss these concerns with no return phone call

*** is a customer that purchased a Jeep Cherokee 5/1/She then came to us a few weeks ago trying to trade that jeep for a new oneShe was unhappy about the trade in value of her CherokeeWe made every attempt to accommodate her by paying over blue book value for her trade inShe wanted to
purchase a more expensive vehicle and have the same or a lower paymentI got my bosses involved to offer her a better price on her trade and was still not happyI believe we treated her fairly and gave her more money for her trade then she could get anywhere else
**

I am rejecting this response
because:
So you guys knew the car was defective because you kept trying to fix it and it never was why did you guys offer to trade in and sell me a new car if you knew about the lemon law? What you did with the car I don’t know because after you guys kept the car I still kept receiving letters from the DMV about my tagsSo why don’t we start there where did the car go? What did your dealership do with it?

No he will not be.

sorry, I made a mistake
I used the wrong numbers
I wasn't at liberty to offer you
that
That car is completely broken now
This continued on and on for weeks.
This is completely dishonest and maybe against the law. I did try way early after purchase (2 weeks), when I found out about their dishonesty on my new vehicle, to rectify the problem. I have continued my complaints and searches for assistance for two and a half months!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/13) */
We are currently waiting for authorization from the customer for tear down and inspection of the head. According to the customers extended warranty company, First Extended the customer is the only one that can authorize tear down. The estimate...

of $2080.00 is for tear down and inspection of the head, the cost to send to head out to the machine shop for inspection, plus gaskets to reinstall in the event that the extended warranty company or customer does not approve the repair. This is the guideline directed by the extended warranty company. Customer may contact her extended warranty company at any time for further direction. No repairs or tear down has been done at this time and still waiting on the customer for authorization.

Customers vehicle was brought into our Dealership on this occasion on Dec. 1 2016. Customer has since been informed that the diesel fuel system has been contaminated by debris and is causing the injectors to fail internally. After many attempts to get customers approval for repairs we finally met on...

March 21, 2017. We suggest the customer contact her insurance company since this is not a repair that can be covered by factory warranty due to contamination. Customer agreed to contact her insurance but still we have not heard back from anyone after attempts to try to contact again. We have supplied the customer with a rental vehicle since her vehicle has been in the shop. A direction is needed from the customer. She is to contact [redacted], Service Director asap.

There are only 3 questions.
1.Repair ordered opened on Oct.21. We were waiting for a tool and customer was to pick up the vehicle and bring back once tool was available. Customer just left the vehicle here since she had a rental to drive.
2.Invoice was closed because the customer was to pick up the vehicle and bring back. Once tool arrived and vehicle was still here we opened another repair order to do the test.
3.The fuel caps for diesel trucks come with green colored caps to signify diesel to match the green colored fuel pumps at the gas stations

[redacted] was notified in writing 4 days after purchasing
her vehicle that we could not obtain financing. A 10  day recession notice was sent to her
as well at the same time. [redacted] told us that her current vehicle was a total
loss and would be paid in full. She was never able to provide...

us the proof and
the loan was denied.

No, she will not be able to keep the vehicle because we can not obtain financing. No, Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep Fiat will not be running her credit again.
