my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 
I talked to [redacted] on Thursday evening from Balboa and I explained that I did not agree to pay 3 months to rent my equipment, I leased it with $1 buy out option.   The Hold and Harmless Agreement states that Interim rent shall accrue from the date of such Delivery and Acceptance Certificate through the first day of the following month ( which would be March 1st, not May 13th), not the first day of the following three months....this is just another way to increase the profit for Balboa on a deal in bad faith.  I agreed to pay an interest rate on my equipment, not rent it for additional months to benefit Balboa.  I would of just went through my local bank and got a great interest rate due to my great credit history.  Balboa is being uncooperative and I am very upset about giving them additional money that I did not agree upon. This is a scam.  I have read the same exact complains on the Revdex.com during the exact same time period of when I set up my deal with Balboa.  I am an honest business women, and I deserve better.  It is not okay to rip small businesses off....

To date, there are 41 documented complaints against Balboa on the Revdex.com site.  It is not a coincidence that at least 20% of those complaints describe the exact same scheme: that Balboa tricks their customers into unfair agreements.  The pattern is clear--and it is well-documented--that Balboa makes oral promises to lease equipment to customers with a $1.00 buyout at the end of the lease term, then Balboa sends them a written agreement with different terms buried in microscopic print (roughly 8 point font, or smaller).  Balboa tactfully misled and trapped us in an unfair agreement, just as it has misled its other customers.The Revdex.com should not allow Balboa to continue to profit from this unfair and deceptive bait-and-switch tactic.

We have reached out in an effort to resolve, but have not gotten a response.

The payoff quote was sent per request, but it appears there was an incorrect e-mail address.  We have reached out to the customer providing the payoff quote and resolved the situation.

We are abiding by the terms of the Agreement signed and agreed to by both parties.

complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Their contract has a schedule and that schedule calls for 16 total payments.  I have attached the agreement for your review.They have taken one of the 16 payments and retro actively claimed that the prorated payments does not apply to the schedule.No where does the agreement say that the prorata rent payment does not apply against the 16 scheduled payments. Their prorate rent payment they charged us is 87/90th of a full payment and thus the total amount we would pay is 16 and 87/90 payments, which exceeds the schedule and is thus incorrect. ** They need to show where in their agreement the prorata rent payment is not applied to the other 16 rent payments.  ** Additionally their 87/90th payment is calculated incorrectly which demonstrates their bad faith. Here is what they need to do:1] allow us to pay the remainder of that old invoice where they charged us incorrectly on the 87/90 to fulfil the 16th payment2] they need to send that last payment to the company that they sold the lease to.
