The order was placed on 5/20/19 in amount of $1490.00 sent via email. The check was cashed on 5/22/19. Was never sent any paperwork regarding the order. Was told 4 weeks to build the roll up
Door 16x10. First time called and left message. Never could talk to anyone. Sent two emails - also no response. Have been trying to call and only get a busy signal. If they're not able to deliver the door want a full refund.

Delivery of door or full refund.

Purchased barn doors (May 14 2019) from said company and did not receive product.
Would call number multiple times with no answer. Would finally get a hold of someone who would say the parts were back ordered and he would check into it.
He finally told me the doors were made and waiting to be shipped. after about a month, we asked for a refund After that and multiple calls, our calls are now being blocked.
I have attached the initial invoice.
I will also try to forward the email string that I do have requesting the refund.
We would like our money back.

No we haven't heard anything from the company. Thanks for helping and keeping us informed.

Placed order with Barn Outlet on 6/5/2019 via ACH draft out of bank account. Been communicating with them since and still have not received rolldoor.
Place order with Scott A. at Barn Outlet on 6/5/2019 who processed invoice # *** in amount of $543.78. Estimated delivery was 6 weeks which has come and gone. They used tariffs as the first excuse then parts shortage as the next then completely quit answering emails and do not pickup the phone at 1-800-636-0301.

These folks are complete scammers after doing further research including speaking with other folks who have been scammed by them (i.e. ***). https:***

I spoke to *** who ended up getting a refund after he spoke with Kristen Blue at Revdex.com West Florida removing his negative post on Barn Outlet.

I will be seeking local law enforcement however want folks to know these folks are a complete scam and should not do any business with Barn Outlet. David D. is behind each of the business he has ran.

I'm seeking a full refund of $543.74 and need it publicly know for folks shopping for roll-up doors to look elsewhere and proceed with caution. Never purchase anything online via ACH unless you are 100% sure you are aware and know the company.

Roll-Up door billed but never received.
I purchased a roll up door with my check clearing in July of 2019. It is now September and I have not received the door. Phone calls were originally answered sporadically but nothing in the past month. I recently found a Facebook group called Is Barn Outlet a Scam? This may be a good place for people who have had similar experiences to communicate to find a way to get their money back.

My father ordered 3 doors from Barn-Outlet.com for our new shop. 2 of the doors are 10"W X 8'H, and the 3rd is 10'W X 12"H. The order was finalized on June 24th, 2019 in the amount of $2,444.70 including tax (Invoice # XXXXXXXX). Payment was made by sending a picture of a check to this company to process payment, which was promptly taken out of my parents account. At the time of purchase we were told that it would take approximately 4 weeks for our doors to be delivered, and that they would be coming out of Arizona, yet the invoice has a Kansas City address on it.

Near the end of July, my parents were both trying to contact Barn-Outlet.com to check on the status of the order, and received no response back. My dad passed away on July 31st, a couple of days after his passing was my first attempt to contact someone reference our order. I was able to talk with someone who said that our doors were complete, and they were just waiting for more orders to fill the truck to make the trip to Washington. About a week later I left several messages again asking about the status of our order, and eventually received an email back on August 13th stating that some of the hardware for our doors was on back order and that it was going to extend the delivery time. So I have gotten 2 different reasons for our doors not being delivered, and now I wonder if they have even been made.

August 13th was the last communication I have had with anyone at Barn-Outlet.com, I have sent several email messages, and have left numerous phone messages, and no response to any of them.

I started doing some more research and found through the Revdex.com that the office we have been working with is actually located in Florida, the address in Kansas City is no longer a valid address for the company, and the other complaints I have read are all similar in nature.

This problem has halted any further progress on our shop, we can not (at this time) afford to pay out the money for doors from another company.

We are requesting a full refund since we have not received any product, and are not interested in any products from this company due to the lack of any customer service or communication.

In addition, I feel that this company and the manager need to be exposed to the public, they are committing fraudulent activities, and there is a pattern that has been established through the complaints with the Revdex.com.

Purchased a garage door in April. Have gotten the run around all the way till mid-August, now they don't answer the phone.
I ordered a roll up door from David in April. Had to send a copy of my check.I was told it takes 3 weeks. Called at the end of May, and was told it will be a little longer because there was a problem with shipping. Checked again in mid June and began dealing with Jeff. He never returned a phone call or email. The story was the same every time, having shipping issues. Skip forward to mid August.... Jeff told me it was ready to be shipped, they were waiting on the mounting hardware. He would give me a call or email. Neither of those has happened, now they just don't answer the phone.

I ordered one door and after 3 months of no delivery and no communication from the company I would like a full refund.
I ordered 1 roll up door on May 20th 2019 and order #XXXXXXXX and totaled $453.67 and my check *** Spoke with David for order and receipt of payment. I was lead to believe this company was out of *** Suite *** XXXXX.
-June 12 I got an email from David stating the plant has been slow in response and backed up.
-June 20th I got an email from David stating he was sorry but the factory was backed up and would get back to me.
-July 10th I spoke to Scott and he stated that the factory was behind and that he would look into it and that this order should have been done.
-July 18th I got an email from ***@barn-outlet.com stating 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks for delivery.
-Aug 14th called and left messages inquiring to cancel and refund my order on their 800-636-0301
-I now have sent 2 emails on Aug 23 to both ***@barn-outlet.com and ***@barn-outlet.com to cancel the order and get full reimbursement of the order. I also called and left a message on their service line and sales line.
I would like a full refund of this order.

Purchesed a roll up door on 7/12/19. Payment of $1591. cleared on 7/14/19. Was supposed to recieve doors 3 weeks later. After 7 weeks and many attempts to contact with no return calls still no doors. Read other reports and conclude that this is a scam.

6-20-2019 I made a special order for a 12' x 10' rollup door unit from the Barn Outlet website. Used blank check with routing number for the amount of $976.00 included shipping with a four day window on delivery call. spoke with David one time and the other with Scott. After a month the time they said it would take to build door unit. I waited another week then called and spoke with David he said door unit was waiting at dock and ready to be shipped and they would call me to set up time. never heard back from them so I called the Barn Outlet and they will not answer calls or emails. I emailed and left voice mail I wanted a refund. today it is 8-14-2019 still no call back or email response.

I ordered a roll up door. It's well past the delivery date quoted and no response to my inquiries. It has been 8 weeks since ordering. The money has been removed from my account. I purchased a continental brown 7'4" X 8' Janus 650 roll up door from David at Barn Outlet for $557.42 on X-XX-XX and was quoted approximately 3 weeks for delivery. I sent a picture of my check #2342 as instructed by David on the 5-16-19, with full description of product ordered in the memo line with invoice #XXXXXXXX on line as well. The funds were removed from my account 5-17-19. I emailed David on 5-28-19 with confirmation questions and he emailed back that I would receive a call from the shipping department when the order establishes a load date and then the driver would contact me one to two days prior to the delivery. I made several attempts to call leaving voice mails with no response. on July 1st, 2019 I called the sales line and Scott answered, I started to explain my situation. He asked if I had been quoted a 3 week delivery time, to which I said yes and he asked my name, I gave it to him and I asked him if he needed the invoice number? He said no. I then explained to him my dilemma with project scheduling and that if they couldn't deliver then I'd be happy with a full refund. He proceeded to tell me he'd look into it and give me a call later, explaining that it can take a couple hours to get through to the production facility. I got his name and at this point I expected for him to do what he said. I then went online to research this company and found that they are not in Kansas City Missouri like the invoice they sent me stated but in Florida. Ordered a 15'-1" wide x 14'-3" tall heavy duty commercial roll up door from David S. on April . Paid $2,038.63 ACH prior to production as required. Was given an ETA of 4-5 weeks and didn't hear back when my order was delayed. Emailed and left several voice messages to the one contact number available. Spoke with a rep early June and was told materials were on back order causing several orders to be delayed and that we should hear back next week to schedule delivery. Have not had anyone reach out to us or respond to our recent emails or phone calls. We are requesting a refund at this time since we have lost confidence in the delivery system.

Ii purchased a roll up door from David at Barn Outlet for$490.58 on 4-16-19 and was quoted approximately 3 weeks for delivery. I sent a picture of my check as instructed by David on the 117th, the funds were removed from my account soon after. I never received a payment confirmation or confirmation of delivery as promised. I emailed David with confirmation questions and he emailed back that the delivery Co. Would be in touch with the date, ignoring the payment confirmation question. I made several attempts to call leaving voice mails every time, today May 22, 2019 I called the sales line and David answered using a different name when I asked for David he said that was him, I started to explain my situation and he said he had my account pulled up and my door was waiting to be crated, although I never gave him my name, address, phone, or invoice number and I was calling from my work phone so there was no way he could have looked it up. At this point I went online to research this company and found that they are not in Kansas City Missouri like the information they sent me stated but in Florida. I was contacted via email by the Barn Outlet asking me to send a verification email that I wanted to cancel my order and receive a refund. I responded Yes and that I would like to have the refund immediately. They didn't confirm my response so I sent another email to them for confirmation and they did respond saying that they had gotten it but no word on the refund

Barn Outlet sent a $10 test deposit from Bank of America to my business account and said that the balance is scheduled to be sent.
That test deposit was made on 05/29/2019 10 days ago.

I ordered doors from them to which I never received, I tried to contact the company via email and probably over 100 phone calls with no response. I finally got a response after calling the business phone number and left a message saying that I had contacted the local News channel (Fox4 on your side), the district attorneys office and had filed felony fraud charges against him through my local police department. I received an email from him almost immediately after my last attempt to contact him, he responded from support (at) barn-outlet.com ((at) should be @ symbol) claiming he had thought I was aware of some bogus warehouse delay. I informed him I wanted a full refund and within 2 hours after informing him of all the actions I had taken he deposited the money back into my account and it was credited that Monday. Sadly he seems to be robbing Peter to pay Paul but if you contact him and follow through with pressing charges he will probably refund your money. After doing some research on him it appears he has a habit of starting companies and doing this same thing. I advise anyone not to use this company and if you have already and have been taken advantage of contact him ASAP and demand a full refund.
