I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted]  I moved into this condo in June 2014 and when I moved in I had a home inspection done and I was told I needed to have the roof replaced.  I contacted the Board of Directors and Barrett Management about this issue and they refuse to replace the roof.  I pay them monthly HOA fee and they are not providing me the service they need to be providing me.   I have contacted them several times and they refuse to answer my telephone calls or emails.  If I have I have a leak because the roof is not replaced I will hold them liable for any damage or loss to property.  I believe the company is lying and not giving the facts in this case.  I would expect a new roof on my condo as I was promised last June.  They take my money but are unwilling to provide the service they are supposed to be providing.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I don’t know how to make my issue any more clear. At the time of my original complaint, I had two problems. 1. My yard that Barnett committed to helping us with. And 2. The atrocious customer service delivered by your staff. I have accepted that Barnett will not be helping with the yard and no longer expect them to. However the second issue of terrible customer service has not been remedied, as represented by your dismissive responses. You still need to respond to that issue. Once that happens I will drop the complaint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowIf you throroghly read my complaint, you would see that I have two issues: one is with the yard, and the second is with the poor customer service delivered by Barnett Management. I will not be dropping this complaint, as you requested me to do. I will be more than happy to drop it when there is a resolution that satisfies me. You are correct about Barnett Management not putting in our yard. That is obvious. However your association enforces the rules about the yard, and we were instructed by Rebecca to go through her for any issues. I question your statement about the “kindness of her heart”, as many of her emails have been rude and unkind. But I see that behavior has been cascaded down by upper management. As as stated above, I will drop the complaint when I see that the communication failures have been addressed.

Good morning, I have been involved with this situation for a couple of weeks now and I know and can prove that Matt W[redacted] has been in constant contact with the Landscapers about rectifying this situation. We have been doing all we can to get the landscapers out to do their job (this...

complaint should not be filed on BMI)The monthly fees do not only represent the amount prorated to Landscaping and can not justify 2 months credit of the full fee for something the association is working on rectifying. The fee that is paid represents all administrative costs as well as all maintenance costs (not just landscaping maintenance)Please know that Matt is working diligently to get this completed as you recognized that your neighboring homes have already begun getting the service completed in a recent email you sent.Thank you,David B[redacted]

Tell us why [redacted] Revdex.com COMPLAINT:I wanted to outline my concerns regarding the HOA budget, records request and geothermal charges. Records Request If you could please tell me the status of the missing documents listed below? Per O.R.C. [redacted], all of this information should be available. •The...

statement of accounts receivable PROVIDED WITH RECORDS REQUEST – MARCH 2016•The 2015 property management agreement HE’S ASKING FOR THE CONTRACT BUT REFERENCES IT BELOW?•All board meeting minutesPROVIDED WITH RECORDS REQUEST – MARCH 2016 •Documentation supporting the estimated amounts for the 2016 budget. PROVIDED WITH RECORDS REQUEST – MARCH 2016 Also, the HOA contract indicates that you are the record holder for all documents prior to 2015. The documentation you did provide shows communications were sent directly to B[redacted] management on behalf of the HOA dated October 2014. Could you please clarify the status of this documentation? If this isn’t in Barnett’s possession, can you please tell me why and how I can obtain the information?                 CONTACT DAVID AND/OR VALORIE G[redacted]Lastly, per items sent to me via the USPS, your records request states that a charge of $100 per hour would be charged should I come to the office, however the contract between B[redacted] and the Winding Creek HOA states that the homeowners have the option to inspect the records on site at no charge. From your records request document: - paraphrased - A fee of $100 per hour to be paid to preserve the sanctity of the records Per your contract with the Winding Creek HOA: -paraphrased - subject to examination by unit owners with prior notice without charge. $80 an hour to be billed IF the owner needs the agent present to answer questions 2016 Budget Regarding the 2016 budget, I believe that B[redacted] made a material error in calculating the annual amount. The revenue, based on your communication regarding my annual fee, is grossly understated. The amount of $650 per homeowner, netting $7,150 is for eleven properties. At the time B[redacted] put the budget together, there were 14 homes with transfer dates in 2015. Based on your email informing me that there is no pro-ration of the annual fee, the annual fee would need to be $511. There is no supporting information to explain the purpose and the rationale for the current budgeted amounts, specifically the $2000 for legal fees. DETAILED EXPLANATIONS WERE PREVIOUSLY EMAILED TO MR. [redacted], ALONG WITH CONTRACTS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTSGeothermal / Budget Last, the management fee charged to the HOA appears overstated. There is no allocation related to the management fee of the for-profit geothermal income. Would you provide clarification?DETAILED EXPLANATIONS RE: MANAGEMENT FEE WERE PREVIOUSLY EMAILED TO MR. [redacted]I appreciate any further guidance you can offer related to any of the above information as I sort through my understanding of our HOA finances and so that I may feel comfortable that I am paying an accurate amount for services received.here...

[redacted] and I met all of the wheels are in motion and is out of B[redacted] Management's hands and in the developers hands this issue should be closed on B[redacted] Managements end.  I will get the requested documents to [redacted] tomorrow.  As he requested in today's email to me.  Thank you, David B[redacted]

Again, this is a indevidual issue with [redacted] putting the final grad in. Barnett management does not represent the builder. Please remove this complaint for it has been communicated that this is a builder issue.

Sir, you live in a single-family home this is not the associations responsibility anything Rebecca has done she has done as a favor  Out of the kindness of her own heart  this is your responsibility we will no longer will be helping you with this issue this complaint must be dropped...

immediately [redacted] put your yard in not the HOA.  This issue is with [redacted]

Good morning, Once we receive payment for the annual fees we will drop the late fee. When we were brought on there was no budget in place for the association and we charged what we were told to charge. We keep detailed financials for the association and around November I will create a...

budget for the 2018 fees. I fully expect the fees to go down, but I am sure the fees were set the way they are now so the HOA would not need to go back to the owners if there was a shortfall. Thank you David [redacted]

straight from his report, we responded as this is settling "trust lift" per the report that he personally got from a 3rd party. please have this complaint dropped. thank you

---------- Forwarded message ----------From: <[redacted]@gmail.com>Date: Mon, Jan 18, 2016 at 8:52 PMSubject: Complaint ID: [redacted]To: [redacted]@cleveland.Revdex.com.orgHello [redacted] –Attached is the letter that we recently received from B[redacted] which included the increase of a fee from $180.00 to $264.00.  Last year’s due was $180.00.  We see in the most recent response from B[redacted] (1/13/16) that he did not address our questions around the specific increases as presented in our response dated 1/3/16 at 9:21 AM.  Specifically, questions were presented around the multiple large increases as presented in the 2016 Budget for our HOA. We have also included the sections from our By-Laws that we referenced in our note from 1/3.  Please note, per our by-laws, there is a Cap of $240.  They have now raised us to $264.00 which is out of compliance. Hopefully this is the information that you required. Sincerely,[redacted] and [redacted]

The unit was inspected last week and the deposit refund has already been ordered. The check should be sent no later than the 25th. please close.

Please see my rejection message. I would like to have a positive working relationship with Barnett Management, but feel as though they do not treat the homeowners with respect. I understand that Barnett did not put our lawn in. [redacted] did an awful job, and when we brought this up to [redacted] at the turnover meeting in August she told us that she will Work with [redacted] on a resolution. As soon as things got difficult, she gave up and put the burden on us. She gave us the expectation that she will work on it. We have had to constantly follow up with her, because she doesn’t communicate to us. Then she says things like “you know I’ve been talking to [redacted].” However we don’t know that, because she refuses to send us updates. This issue was no longer with the yard, we will work with the city to get a resolution because you have made it clear you don’t want to help. That is fine, I can accept it. However I will not accept the lack of communication and poor customer service. I have higher expectations than that. We pay $500 a year for a service from your business, and in return we should at least expect prompt and respectful customer service. Even if something is outside of your scope, I would expect to be told that right off the bat, instead of telling us you will help. [redacted] also sent us a notice about our roads being paved and how we need to keep our cars off the street. However the communication came after the roads were already paved. This is not an unreal expectation to have prompt communcation. And that communication also needs to be respectful and professional. I feel that Barnett Management has not always met those standards.
