Good Evening,
On Friday, March 21, Ron D*** Regional Vice President for our company met with *** *** *** *** to reveiw the pricing of their recent installation, show them where the discount was applied and how much was deducted and to show that they were not
charged for the removal of the tub. It was also agreed that Bath Fitter would, as a sign of good faith, compensate them in the amount of $for their inconvenience. *** *** signed a document agreeing to all above statements. The check will be mailed out this week

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
October 16th, 2016To Revdex.com:It appears there will be no resolution to this dispute
Bath Fitter keeps stating the same arguments after I have refuted them with
supporting documentation. They have not
even come back with a possible compromise Can the bureau please review the complaint and make a
determination as to whether Bath Fitter has acted in good faith using good
business practices in this dispute? I’m
not sure how this works, but it seems to me that they have not, especially when
they say I cannot dispute a contract my Mom entered. I think the public who looks at this site
should see the way Bath Fitter does business. Please advice.
Thanks so much for your help!
Regards,
*** ***

I will investigate and get back to you

Bath Fitter has been attempting to contact this customer numerous times with no return phone call.  Bath Fitter never stated their was an issue with the job, there was an issue with finance paperwork, but the job material was in fact, as originally ordered.  The company, thus placed the...

order, as contracted, in order to meet our obligation.  Bath Fitter was well within our legal rights IAW the state of Ohio to keep the original deposit to offset the costs incurred, which well exceeded deposit amount.  In the interest of goodwill, though, we have contacted customer and will honor their refund request.

I am writing to express the poor experiences I've had with Bath Fitter this month. I have tried to get a sales presentation from your company but am not able to do so. Below are two unsuccessful attempts I've made for a sales presentation.
On February 9, 2016, I scheduled a sales presentation and the sales person did not show up. I was at first confused that their sales department would allow this to happen because in order to get a sale, you must first show up. As I spoke to customer service, I became upset and did not reschedule.
I later decided to give Bath Fitter a second chance and scheduled another appointment for February 24, 2016. The rep, Steve, did show up this time, however my wife was running late due to bad weather conditions. I explained that the presentation could proceed without her. The rep explained that we need both parties present. I said that is not possible and he said he was required to call his Sales Manager when both parties are not there stating "this is why we make appointments'. I quickly reminded him how this was my second attempt to schedule an appointment as the rep did not show last time. This is area 71 I believe. The sales manager was not reachable so the customer service person tried to reschedule. I explained that my wife did not need to be there. She refused to allow the presentation to occur so the conversation ended and Steve packed up and began to leave. I explained to him that I was very interested and wanted the presentation but he said that he couldn't because they have a higher likelihood of a sale if both parties were present. I explained that by leaving you have a 0% chance. The rep said that having only one is the same as 0%. I took offense to this and asked him to leave.
I am beyond outraged by the comments and scheduling tactics of this company and felt that you should know what is going on at this franchise. I pray that these tactics are not supported by your company. At this point, I don't even know what would help this situation because what I want done is probably best suited for you.

September
21, 2016Dear
[redacted],Bath Fitter entered into a contract with
Complainant’s mother on March 5, 2016.
Neither the contract nor the specification sheet contained a provision concerning
the depth of the tub.  In fact, the Bath
Fitter® acrylic tub is made to replicate the...

inside bathing well of the
existing bath tub.  The existing bathtub
would dictate the depth of the water, not the Bath Fitter® acrylic tub;
therefore, Bath Fitter could not and would not have represented that the
acrylic tub would increase the depth of the existing tub.  Bath Fitter denies that any of its employees
or representatives ever represented to Complainant or to her mother that the
tub would be 17 inches in depth.  Furthermore,
the contract and specification sheet both explicitly state that the documents
cannot be modified verbally, and the specification sheet requires that any
modifications be in writing and signed by both parties to the contract.  Bath Fitter installed the Bath Fitter®
acrylic tub in accordance with the terms of the contract entered into with
Complainant’s mother.  Complainant did
not sign the contract or the specification statement, and is therefore not a
party to the contract.  Furthermore,
Complainant was present when the tub was installed, and paid the balance of the
contract, evidencing her acceptance of Bath Fitter’s performance of the
contract.  Bath Fitter has clearly
fulfilled its contractual obligations to Complainant’s mother, so the demand
for a refund is accordingly declined.                                          ...                                     Sincerely
yours,                                     ... David H.

Review: My wife and I arranged for a salesman to come to our house to give us an estimate on redoing our bathroom. The price was far more than we had anticipated and decided not to use this company. This was in 2010 or 2011. Every 4-5 months since then, I have received phone calls from Bath Saver asking when it would be convenient for a salesman to return and give us an estimate on the work. They always seem to have a salesman in our area who would be happy to drop by tomorrow. I have asked repeatedly for all phone numbers to be stricken from their database, but the calls continue. Now, they're calling me at work - and I don't believe they originally had my work phone number... so I can only assume they're using every means necessary to make a sale.Desired Settlement: I would like these predatory sales calls to stop immediately, and I would like my name stricken from their database, and all phone numbers associated with my name stricken from their database.

Review: I signed up for literature (only) with Bath Fitter at a local home show. I received several calls to make an in home appointment. I told them that I just wanted them to mail me a brochure, but, they keep calling to try and set up an in home appointment (hard sell).Desired Settlement: Make these people stop calling me, at all hours.
