Repeated lies about production and installation time frames at every step of (small) project. A 6wk project is still incomplete 18wks later
BathCrest Orlando was referred by Home Advisor -I schedule a quote for a shower installation in my master bathroom (the demolition was already done with drywall removed down to the studs and only the shower base was left).

On January 5:*** came to my home and phoned his manager *** to give me a quote of approximately $7980 to replace the shower base and install drywall on a continuous wall that would be behind the shower and toilet, install acrylic shower with halfwall and frameless glass. They both told me the work (for drywall and acrylic and half wall btw the toilet) would be complete in 3-5 weeks, then the glass would take another 10-14days. On day 1, they took an agreed upon $2400. After a few weeks, *** came to re-measure the space.

By Week 6 : No phone call, no update on ETA- nothing. I called BathCrest and *** (the manager)reassured me that the material would be in that week and he'd send the installer on Week 7- and it should be completed in one day- Apparently lied to me because the installer (***) showed up and Only installs the shower base stating that the acrylic is STILL in production.

Week 8 and we are still being told the acrylic is not available yet. The acrylic and halfwall were finally completed on 3/28- Week 12.... So I paid them another $5024. With the remainder (approx. $560) to be paid after the entire project is complete.

The next week, I contacted and arranged for the glass measurements, which were taken that very week (Again we were told 10-14 days for production)
Another 3 weeks go by and no call. I made sure to wait after 14business days: When I called BathCrest, they reassured me *** would call me back- No returned call. The next day, the reception person apologized (for the 1st time)- and stated the glass would be ready May 7th and I would get a call to schedule install.

Today is now May 10th, (Week 18) and still no call from *** or the company. The shower is not usable as it has no glass walls yet. They have lied repeatedly to me every time I've called to put me off for weeks at a time so they don't hear from me. I have no trust in ANY thing they 'promise' and regret giving them my business.
I have been without use of my master bathroom for months now and all other projects (ie tiling, painting, vanity install) is pending because this project must be completed first before the others can start.

Desired Outcome

I want this job completed ASAP. It is more than 3x the time frame I was originally promised and that i have been unable to complete other work and make use of my bathroom, while my payments totaling over 90% owed has been paid to this company. I would like to be refunded a portion of that money at this point.

On 02/26/19 we signed a contract for a shower replacement, with completion in 6 weeks. We paid two deposits (40%). Nothing has happened.
On February 26, 2019 my husband and I signed a contract for a shower replacement. We paid two checks of $1,600 each as deposit. We've had next to no communication from Bath Crest since. I've had to call them. And they don't always answer their phone during business hours, and haven't always returned my calls. I've asked for an install date for three weeks. Wednesday I contacted the sales rep we signed with. Then the store manager call me. Even then, I had left messages with the salesman and store manager I was considering canceling and getting fully refunded.
The last excuse I heard from the manager on Wednesday was he would buy the shower hardware and call me Friday (today) with an install date of next week. I haven't heard from him further. At the end of the business day, I messaged the salesman and stated to cancel the contract and give us a full refund next week. At this point they created a trust issue.
We want our full deposit returned immediately. It is only a shower demo and install and they can't seem to complete this. And they don't communicate with any updates. If I can't get them here for an install, I'd be concerned if I needed them for any product or install concerns. They don't call as they say, let alone install their product.

on 9/21/18 salesman Rick T came to my home to show us their product. we signed a contract for them to install a new shower enclosure. He told us job would begin with in 4 to 5 weeks. He said a production deposit of $3320.00 was required. I told him it would take me a few days to get money transferred to my checking account. He said I could give him a postdated check and he would make sure it didn't get deposited until the date I put on it. I gave him a check for $3320.00 dated 9/27/18 and he said we would get a call from his office with an installation date. My husband called the office within 3 business days and spoke to Jason T to cancel the contract. Jason said he couldn't cancel the contract and our check was already deposited on 9/24/18 and it was an office error. This caused overdraft fees on my checking account. Days later we were given an installation date of 10/29/18. On 10/29/18 the installers arrived but said they couldn't do the job because they were given the wrong size base. They would deal with the office to get the right base and assumed it would only take a few days and hoped to return saturday 11/3 to do the job. Since then my husband has been calling constantly between Jason T and Ron only getting either no calls back or being given excuses for non performance. We are hoping we are not victims of a scam.

Desired Outcome

Would like the company to complete the job we contracted them to do as soon as possible. If they cannot give us an installation date within the next couple of days then we want our deposit refunded.
