I met with the customer on May 23, We did a walk thru of the drivceway and reviewed her concernsHere was the discussion: In the center of the driveway by the garage there is an oil or some kind of stainThe was done after installation most not necessarily by the customer but a visitor or delivery personThe will cause deterioration of the asphalt so I offered to fix at n/c when she has us seal itAccording to the contract the customer is suppose to fill in the sides of the driveway to protect the edgesThis was not done yet and edges were starting to tearShe said she would fill this in asapI told her as possible we will try to repair the sides for her again at N/CWe agreed to watch the driveway t make sur4e proper oxidation drainage, and wears and tear continues as it has so far since installationThere is no puddle there that is not within our parameters of acceptabilityWhich is, according to the care book she received and contract, a puddle that after it is done raining it wont hold water more than hours and is less than stacked pennies deep in a x foot areaHer is not even over two penniesWe don't even have the ability to repair such a shallow indent on a relatively flat section of the drivewayIf it ever deepens it will be covered by the warrantyThe customer is made aware in both out information packet given, the check list, and contract that asphalt is a porous rocky materialYou will see areas more rocky than others or some more smoothThat is a natural characteristic of asphaltWe try to make people aware of this so when they see the driveway they understand new asphalt shows roller marks, seams, rocks and other markings from installationMost of this will wear down as the driveway ages the rest blends in after the first or second seal is appliedThe loose rocks would just be from installation not the driveway itselfAs I told Beve4rly the night we met the driveway is structurally sound and looks goodI agree the area by the street it is more rocky and yes we needed more asphaltEither we put it in thicker than we needed or the plant shorted usWe use multiple trucks of mixWe never said it would be one truck loadWe typically need multiple truck loads which means the possibly of different rock to oil ratiosI was quite surprised by the Revdex.com letter complaint came thruI wrote up our conversation from that evening on site and she read it an agreed and she gave me a verbal approval of a our discussionI told her I would make copies and get signatures for the file and I would proceed with repairs and seal coat as agreedI stand by the evaluation and the conclusion we reached togetherThe warranty stays in place as outlined in her contractI will be mailing in a customer folder full of the information they receive at time of estimate and copies of all the contract signed at time of purchase for reference materialsThan you for your time to help resolve this Thank you , Janet

I am writing again so that it is not concluded that I am satisfied with the company's responseI did read the "Everything You Need to Know" booklet before I signed the contractIn bold letters on the contract it states, "year guarantee against break-up, pot holes, weed growth"The driveway was installed in October I had issues with the workmanship right away and then the weeds and ants appeared within months (the following spring)When one of the men came out I asked if my driveway was representative of his company's workHe said it was notI asked him if he would put a picture of my driveway in his brochure and he said noI asked if my driveway had nice, tamped edges as advertised and the answer was noSo, I do feel as if I did get an inferior installation

I apologize, I have contacted the BBB multiple times since September to see where we stand as I never got a response back from them telling me how to proceed. Each time we looked into it it was stated it was closed and no further action making us think either you said you did not want us to proceed or the BBB closed it. I am waiting for a proposal from them and an estimated date for repair of the driveway. per our conversation, completion will not take place until smmer of 2018. if it is not complete, a new complaint will be filed

I am rejecting this response because: as stated previously, the fix of drill and fill does not solve the problem of the cement driveway having more and more holes to be drilled and filled-there are too many holes to drill and fillWe can not allow the driveway to be damaged further by a fix that isn't a fix but a stall tactic to not take responsibility for a bad cement drivewayIt appears that we will need to take additional steps to resolve this issueThank you for your assistance

the company still has not addressed our many concerns We need someone to come out and look at our driveway so we can show them the problems with the driveway Once again, adding sealant next spring will NOT solve the problems that we have enumerated Please read our emails and address each point we have made It has been days, and Buy Knox has still not answered our emails or phone calls

We have had a lot of delays due to the weather and re-scheduling issues. For this I am truly sorry. We are out at her property today and talked with her earlier today and she liked the way the project was going, and we can't wait to get it finished for her

I'd like to follwith you regarding complaint #*** which I filed back in September for a driveway company, Asphalt and Concrete Buy Knox. To date I have not received any further communication from the business regarding the issues noted on the case. The only time the company responded was when I contacted the Revdex.com. Since September the business has failed to contact me regarding issues pertaining to their work at my residence. I would like to continue to keep this case open given the business has been avoiding contact with me

The business has made no attempt to resolve my issue, rather continues to defer responsibility to another party. I received two different calls, one from Jim on 10/explaining that another company would be handling the issue, and the 2nd from Janet *** on 10/stating that a new CEO of AC Buy Knox, Kathy ***, would be contacting me to resolve. I did not receive any additional calls from Kathy *** since Janet's message 10/so I contacted AC Buy Knox office on 10/requesting a call. On 10/I contacted AC Buy Knox again and was told Kathy *** left messages for me though I don't have any messages at my number

Mr*** signed a contract on August 3, to have his driveway and sidewalk excavated and replaced by Asphalt and Concrete Buy Knox, on September 3, we did
the excavating and basing on October 12, we poured the concrete
Mr*** called on October 15, to complain that there are stain marks from the leaves falling on the driveway and sidewalk and some boot marksI went out on October 19, to evaluate and took pictures, I reported to Mr*** that the driveway and sidewalk are structurally sound and we can come back in the springs of to power wash and seal the concrete
He was very upset saying we installed a crappy inferior product and wants a new driveway and sidewalk and he would be reporting us to the Revdex.com, Attorney General etc

First off, there already ARE pits, divots and pockmarks embedded in the ENTIRE surface of the driveway and sidewalkIt is not just a matter of washing off leaf stainsThese holes and boot prints in the concrete will only get bigger, erode and crack through the winterAnd the driveway has rough, uneven surfaces, which the company acknowledgesThe driveway and sidewalk are defective and unsightlyThis work is covered by warranty and needs to be replaced correctly at no cost to usSecondly, we already have paid for a permanent sealcoatThe company is not giving us anything we have not already paid forThey already owe us a sealcoat, to be applied in spring when the weather warmsThe company also stalled and stalled in pouring the concreteThere was plenty of time to do the work in warmer, better weather, but the company chose to wait until the absolute last minuteCompany was very slow to return our calls and let us know what was going onThe Revdex.com needs to make sure its members deliver on their promises and provide good customer serviceThis company failed on that

I am rejecting this response because:My old driveway was removed in MID-OCTOBER.Your response about cold weather by the end of November is not relevent.Neither is your reply about the issues you ran into during the summer.You had no business then removing my old driveway if you cannot finish the job.Have you told me that as a customer I would have never ever let you remove it at that time.I have signed up with you to get a new driveway this year,not next year.I have also reached out to you in November about posibility installing a concrete driveway instead if you cannot do asphalt.You have not replied to me back at all.Actually, I have repeatedly left voice mails to you and you have not returned any of my phone callsAnd that is the big issue here, you have completely ignored me as a customer and not made any effort to talk to me about any options and resolution.I guess it took finally Revdex.com to get at least one reply from you and it's still not to the point.As far as sending your crew to my house to ramp up the driveway for the winter,I have left a voice mail about this to you also.Once again,you have not called back at all.The problem here is that you have not contacted me ahead of time that the crew will be coming.No courtesy phone call,nothing.You have no business sending anybody to perform any kind of work on my property without notifying me first and without having my permission to do itBut I can see how calling me would actually mean talking to me in person and it might also mean that you would have to perhaps negotiate with me about other options.Which is exactly what you've been avoiding.As I said before,you have completely ignored me as a customerAnd till this day you still have not made any effort to reach out to me personally to come up with any kind of mutual agreement.I will leave reviews to anybody I can think of,whatever it takes to warn people about your company because this is completely unacceptable to treat customers like that
