AC Buy Knox has failed to contact me following the 9/5/assessment by Jim *** to discuss the problems regarding the installation of my driveway, which not only are causing damage to my garage but also not consistent with what is stipulated in the contract

Shortly after installation of driveway
at the beginning of November 2015, I contacted Asphalt & Concrete Buy Knox and spoke to Patty about the poor installationShe came out and looked at it and I did not hear backI contacted Patty again on 11/24/to find out what the resolution wasShe said they would come out next season and cut out bad part of driveway and patch itI told them that was unacceptable and wanted the whole driveway replaced as that is what I paid forPatty said they will replace the driveway next springI received a letter from them in stating they will fix the issueWhen I contacted Asphalt & Concrete Buy Knox in May 2016, Patty said she would look at it again and recommended sealcoating the drivewaySealcoating the driveway will not fix the gully in the center and contradicts her letter from when she acknowledged an issue with the installationI would like all my money back for the driveway so that I may hire a professional company to replace it

Once again we would like the opportunity to show Mr*** that at this time we will apply the emulsion sealant and show how well the driveway will be.We will take another look in the spring of 2017 to see how it has settled and take care of any issues that may arise as there is a year warranty.Patty ***Customer Service

strive for in every drivewayWe decided that putting in a subpar driveway just to lay asphalt down for someone is not aligned with our high standardsWe had a summer plagued with equipment breakdowns and above average rain daysIt made it difficult for us to be able to predict when we would be able to lay the drivewaysWe did reach out and either talked in person or sent letters to those customers we were unable to complete in the middle of NovemberWe sent our crews out to the open driveways to ramp them up so people's garages and entrances were accessible for the winterWhen we came to your house to ramp it up, you told our crew to leave and not touch your drivewayUnfortunately, we do not have access to our equipment until next spring and we cannot come out again to ramp up your drivewayWe will finish your driveway next year in early summer when the temperatures are at the right temperature

according to our records the job was competed on 6/16/to the satisfaction of the city inspectors. We have not had any commination from the customer indicating there was any issueOn our behalf this case is closed \ We have copies of the

was running late and the asphalt plant was closing for the day so they had to rush to the plant to get the last driveway done and totally forgot to call Mr***I was not aware of this until I received this complaintWe have called Mr*** to try and get it done November 23, It is the end of our season due to the asphalt plants shutting down for the year on Thursday November 25th, we will do our best to get it done

While I know they did their best at the end of the year to get a small amount of asphalt to lengthen a berm in front of my garage door, it did not fix the problem of water coming into the garage
I left a vm message Thanksgiving, and I know they were closed, and it's the end of season, but I received no response

To Whom It May Concern:In regards to [redacted], we are sincerely sorry that we were unable to complete the driveway this year. At the time when Ms. [redacted] called on Oct. 20th, we had missed 10 plus days in October due to rain. The first ten days of November, on average, has been below 32 degrees....

In order to put in a quality driveway, the temperature should be above 40 degrees. This past week, we have been able to pave one day out of four. The weather has played a huge role in being ability to complete work in a timely manner. In signing the contract, Ms. [redacted] took the double discount to wait to have her driveway replaced. Her driveway was not going to be started until late Sept/Oct. With the weather (over 35 rain days this summer; unseasonable cold weather) our season is coming to close 3 weeks premature.We are deeply sorry that we were unable to finish her driveway this year. Since she has already received the double discount, we would like to offer her a free seal coat to her driveway the following year (2019). We will apply what she has paid toward her seal coat to the asphalt portion of her contract ($200).

I am rejecting this response because:
My contract actually says completion of driveway in August or September. My main concern now that they are not completing this driveway this year is when they plan to complete it. I am fine with the free sealcoat  in 2019. By not completing the driveway this year I have a part of my foundation exposed to the weather for several months and risk the possibility of water in my basemen plus dirt and mud on my carpets. I would like a time frame on when they will get my driveway done, the sooner the better and a new signed contract with the updates

I am rejecting this response because: 
I have not received any formal letter or check from the business. They did not honor what they stated in their response.

I would ask that [redacted] meet myself or a foreman to discuss what repairs are needed before moving forward. If he agrees I would agree to meet within two weeks of his response.    thank you [redacted] Knox

In response to Mr. [redacted] complaint: We have no record of any calls from Mr. [redacted] in this office except from August 29, 2016.Mr. [redacted] did sign a contract on 06/28/2016 and asked us to hold his deposit until July 7, 2016 which we did and than put him in the schedule. We NEVER give a...

customer a start day until a couple of days before we start to confirm he was in the August group. We did get a call from Mr. [redacted] on August 29, 2016 @ 3:300 pm and gave it to Jim our Scheduler who leave the office at 3:00pm to go to our other location to drop off the written schedulefor our crew. Jim dose the scheduling in the am and before we could even get Mr. [redacted] we received this complaint so we will wait to here a response ashow to proceed. Please allow us to offer Mr.[redacted] the $1500.00 he is asking for simply because we have made mistake after mistake in communication and handling his claim.  We believe our product is quality work which if a repair was needed we would stand behind but I can't say he's complaint thru...

The work was not completed to acceptable, normal standards and gaps and holes still exist. Two workers arrived 21 Sept 2015, 2:30 PM; they applied DAP 3.0 Concrete and Masonry self-leveling sealant in the gap between the existing concrete and new sidewalk. The worker indicated that he purchased (and used) 9 tubes of the compound from Menards at $9 each; there were 5 empty tubes in our garbage; I do not know where the other 4 tubes are. He indicated that the compound would self level as it dried. Within one hour of applying the compound, gaps and holes appeared as the compound settled into the gaps and holes that were meant to be filled per the initial complaint. Prior to the workers applying the Ultra Premium Penetrating concrete sealer, I inquired if they would clean the concrete prior to applying the sealer. I had swept the concrete prior to their arrival, and it appeared clean. They indicated that the concrete must be dry, and proceeded to spray on the sealer without cleaning it. Within one hour of the application, unsightly stains and spots appeared on the concrete; those stains remain today. I would like the owner or manager of the company come to our home to review the issue in person; I don't think they would accept the quality of the work for their home's front entrance. Because of the slow response for the company to resolve the issue of the holes and gaps between the concrete foundation and sidewalk, we are willing to purchase additional tubes of the same compound from Menards and apply the compound ourselves. Due to their slow response and now it is fall weather, we want the work completed before it gets too cold to apply the compound. We will deduct the cost of the tubes of the compound, indicated to be $9 per tubes, from Invoice PA18-2015. This invoice is for $175 to cover the second 1/2 for the Ultra Premium Penetrating Sealer. Because the Ultra Premium Penetrating Sealer caused unsightly stains and marks that remain on our sidewalk, we want the company to clean the newly created stains and re-apply the sealer. If they are unwilling to comply with this request, we request a full refund of $175 for the down payment we paid for the sealer per contract signed 15 April 2015.

Per our phone conversation today I am sending a refund of $295.00 for two tubes of caulking you have purchased $20.00, the balance of the seal coat $175.00 and $100.00 for your time to do the repairs.
We will be in contact as soon as we hear something from Cemstone about the seal coat and get a plan on how to resolve the issue with staining. As we discussed We can't seal the concrete again this year so we will as soon as Cemstone feels it will be ready.

I apologize, I have contacted the Revdex.com multiple times since September to see where we stand as I never got a response back from them telling me how to proceed. Each time we looked into it it was stated it was closed and no further action making us think either you said you did not want us to proceed or the Revdex.com closed it. Second Response:We are unable to finish the driveway this season. Our season was over the second week of November due to the cold weather. We have already acknowledged our part in not completing the driveway in a timely manner. We are sincerely sorry that this is going to cause issues for her this winter. Next summer, we will complete the driveway as soon as the weather permits. We still stand by giving her a free seal coat the following summer (2019) for the inconvenience we have caused her. Please accept our sincere apologies.
