They totally scam youI Needed a new coolant valve and they wanted to charge me plus tax(over 800!) Other dealers I spoke to were appalled, as were other mechanics I spoke toYour "check engine light" goes on, and the minute you walk into their door, you're basically forced to do the repair with them, (and their outrageous fees) becuase you sign a paper saying you wither do the work with them or you pay a $diagnostic fee(Other mechanics charge $for this, and some are even willing to waive it)***, at *** *** was super sweet and said he would do it for MAX, but of course I had no choice, beause the dealer repair shop already had my car and I signed their "contract"If you need to fix a recall or something, fine, but if you need ANY other repair, then take your car elsewhere

My father went to get an oil change on his car. The oil change took 4 hours to complete and on top of that there was damage to the back bumper of the vehicle. My father questioned the employee about the damage and they claimed that it was there when. He brought the car in. My father is no fool. He is very meticulous about his car. When he tee fused to believe the nonsense story they were trying to sell, that is when the truth came out. One of the employees hit a gate while parking the car and damaged the back bumper. This was when Toyota said they would fix the car with no cost to us. Why would we pay for damage we didn't cause in the first place? They wanted to him wait but my father already wasted 4 hours of his life so they offered him a rental. Then one of the salesmen had the nerve to ask him why he didn't buy another car from them. The business practices at this establishment is extremely questionable. There is no ethics and I would never ever recommend anyone give them any business.

Review: Very unproffessional!! All I had to do is buy out my current lease. Everything started when they said the car has to go thru service department for inspection. When the car was done they sad it would be $1000 and when I asked for a bill breakdown they said its too late for them to print the bill because

service department is closing at 5 (not true they close at 7) the Guy from Finance department went to the hospital and everyone magicly dissapeared. Had to wait till next day and after, the bill went from $1000 to $168 not to mention the credit applications had diffrent milage of the car from 23000 miles to 14500. They also wanted $5000 cash down and after a while they went to 1300 not including taxes. When I asked to see the paperwork and breakdown on what im paying for I had to wait for hours. (printers dont work, internet doesnt work, people I was dealing with would dissapear). At the end after a month the manager said hes not doing any bussiness with me and will call the police if I dont leave only because I asked to see my paperwork and refused to let them charge $1000 for service.Desired Settlement: I still have a bill due for $168.00 but due to their costumer service I refuse to pay. And I would like the general manager to give me a call and apologize.

Review: they charge me $670 for just replace coolant control valve. $300 more than it suppose to charge comparing to all the toyota dealer located on longisland. ( I called every dealer to confirm I got ripped off) . Here is how thing goes: I brought in my toyota prius in june 13 (date might not be exact, some day around) for service because of the check engine light. JP is the adviser served me. he told me the diagnostic fee will be $227 and could be waived if I let them fixing the car. 2 days later he finally called me at 2PM to let me know that the coolant control valve needs to be replaced. and I can get my car back at 5PM. the total cost would be $670. so here is my option either pay $227 without my car fixed or $670 to get it fixed. when I got my bill back I instantly know I got ripped off. here is the break down of the bill : $30 for coolant( suppose to be $20), $ 100 for valve ( $89 supposed to be), 4.7 hour labor rate $470 ( call me at 2 Pm to come to pick up at 5 pm. 3 hours max,) how is 4.7hours come out. I talked to their manager mark about this, and his response is I authorized to get it fix and I should consider the diagnostic time. I come back with fire and called every toyota dealer inlongisland to check the price. one of dealer told me 2.5 hour is the max to replace the valve with proper toolDesired Settlement: just refund the ripoff part

Review: I went to Bay Ridge Toyota, Inc. for a engine oil change, fixed recall issue, and replaced engine drive belt on August **, 2014 cost $346.07. Toyota service my car with an improper or inferior service. The engine oil leaked out of the car after they replaced it because they didn't tighten the oil drain plug according to another dealer. I contacted Toyota, spoke to the [redacted], about the inferior service and asked for a refund.Desired Settlement: I asked for a $150 including my towing cost , and additional engine oil replacement but no one at Toyota resolved my request.

Review: Well in October 2013 me and my wife went to buy a pre own suv and they show us a 2007 rav4. With 20,500 miles on it and my wife ask the salesman how many accident it had on this suv he said that it had one small one so we talk to them about the suv and we bought it now seven month later we decided to try to trade it in at another dealer and was told that this suv was in three accidents and was stolen four months before we bought it now the value of this suv is lower than pay for and this wasn't told. To us when we bought this suv because we would not have bought if we knew us please help usDesired Settlement: I would like if they chance this suv for another one with better history or lower the price that we pay because of the suv history Thank you very much

Review: I returned my Toyota back to the dealership back in May 2014 in Bayridge, [redacted] after my lease was up. When I returned the vehicle it was thoroughly checked by the dealership. There were no issues at the time of inspection that arose at all. When I returned the car I had returned one key and forget the other one at home so my father returned the 2nd key to the dealership first thing in the morning. We were given permission by the dealership to do so. [redacted]' was our representative helping us obtain a new vehicle and [redacted] was the manager on staff that was helping us with our transaction. Both prior and new. A month later I received a bill in the mail claiming that I owe money for a second key (which was returned the following morning) and for scratches and damage on the bumper which there were no such things. We left the car in pristine condition and we signed off to that as well. We then were shown several cars and leased a new one. I had contacted the dealership on several occasions to take care of this and nothing was done. Al I got was a runaround for months. I was also in contact with [redacted] ###-###-#### the district supervisor on numerous occasion. He had reassured me many times that this issue would be take care of and resolved and it has NOT been. Once again I received the runaround for months. I am now receiving calls from a collection department that states Toyota claims I owe them $655.91, which I do NOT.Desired Settlement: I want this amount of $655.91 void & null and removed off my name and cleared. I do NOT owe this money and I want this taken care of immediately!!!!! Please feel free to contact me anytime at ###-###-####

Thank you [redacted]

At this time, I have not been contacted by Bayridge Motor Sales Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I will NEVER purchase another car from Toyota again!! Sincerely,[redacted]

They totally scam you.
I Needed a new coolant valve and they wanted to charge me 768 plus tax. (over 800!) Other dealers I spoke to were appalled, as were other mechanics I spoke to.
Your "check engine light" goes on, and the minute you walk into their door, you're basically forced to do the repair with them, (and their outrageous fees) becuase you sign a paper saying you wither do the work with them or you pay a $228 diagnostic fee. (Other mechanics charge $95 for this, and some are even willing to waive it). [redacted], at [redacted] was super sweet and said he would do it for 500 MAX, but of course I had no choice, beause the dealer repair shop already had my car and I signed their "contract".
If you need to fix a recall or something, fine, but if you need ANY other repair, then take your car elsewhere.
