amount that I paid and the one I claim is the full amount: USDThis is clearly explained in the description of the case20$ represents the amount that I should have been paying for the serviceI realized after sending the form that it would be confusing.
Could you please add this clarification to my file?

Review: On February 12, 2014 I flied from [redacted] to [redacted]. Upon arriving in [redacted], I was forced into making a quick call (as I wasn't able to get wifi connection to call) to back home to let family know that I was okay. The booth I called from stated that they have "cheap rates to usa/canada". I called in and their collect number and I was quoted either 80cent or 18cent per minute for call to [redacted] (voice was low and got a break during the quotation). At this point I assumed it was 80cent/per minute as that was more of expected rate as I was in a foreign country and calling from airport. Anyways I spoke about 1-2min and hanged up. Today I am checking my visa page and I see authorized charges for $1.07, $47.22 and $58.90. The 1.07$ charge makes sense to me as that I was expecting to pay for that call but the $47.22 and $58.90 as both fraudulent charges being charged to my credit as I NEVER agreed to these charges neither I was NOTIFIED of it. knowing I was going to get charged $106.12 for 1 minute phone call I would have never done it.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a refund of $106.12, and not a cent less.

Regards,

Review: I arrived in Frankfurt, Germany International airport on June 8th from Chicago and missed my connection to Chennai, India. I had to call my family to tell them that I would not be arriving on time. So I used a public telephone to make the call with a credit card, and spoke for less than 1 minute. The company called 'Telecom Germany BBG' charged me $41.02 for that one call and couple of other charges which were reversed later. This appears to be a scam and excessive charges compared to what was mentioned before the call. I have had to put my card on hold to prevent further bogus charges while I am traveling in another country which has caused me severe inconvenience and problems.Desired Settlement: I want a refund in the amount of $40.

Regards,

Review: When transiting [redacted] I attempted to use "public" phones in the terminal belonging to BBG Communications (the operate such phones all over the World). The phones take credit and debit cards, but post no rates, nor are they available. My flight was cancelled, leaving me stranded, so I needed to contact people about that.

I first tried using my [redacted] Debit card, but the device said it could not accept my card, so I switched to my [redacted] Debit card, and made two very short calls successfully.

I just looked at my card statements.

The [redacted] Debit card had a $52.10 charge on 3/28/14 for a "Phone Call" (that never connected).

Then it ALSO had a $120.00 charge shown on 3/29/14 (when I was no longer in [redacted], even) for a "Phone Call."

This meant I was charged $172.10 (total) for a single call that was unsuccessful!

The [redacted] Credit Card had two $47.10 ($94.20 tot) charges on 3/28/14 for the 2 calls I did make (both short) shown as "Misc Debit."

Then it ALSO had the same $120.00 charge as the Debit Card, also shown on on 3/29/14 (when I was no longer still in [redacted], even) for a "Misc Debit," PLUS another for $0.95 for a "Misc Debit."

This meant I was charged $214.20 for two short calls!

My TOTAL expenses for TWO telephone calls from that pay phone was $378.20 !!!

While $47.10 is totally outrageous for a short phone call, charging me $378.20 for two (with the two $120 fees on a day I didn't touch their phones) is outright theft.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the two $120 charges for the day (3/29/14) I was not even NEAR their phone removed completely.

I would like the $52.10 charge on 3/28/14 for the unsuccessful call removed from my bill.

I would like the two $47.10 charges reduced to reasonable amounts, though at least I got SOMETHING for that money.

I would like the company to POST on their telephones their rate and fee information when using Credit and Debit Cards, since NOTHING is currently explained.

Business

Response:

I have called and emailed the customer l several times with no response from him.

Review: The company charged my credit card much more than it's advertised rate. On the pay phone, it listed the rates per minute which I remember being high but not outrageous. I received a $75 bill for a ~5 minute long-distance phone call.Desired Settlement: I would like the unauthorized amount to be refunded to my credit card. I will agree to pay the advertised amounts listed on the pay phones at the Frankfurt Airport.

Business

Response:

Already resolved by her bank.

Review: The pay phone company marked the fee as 5 pesos (or about 8 cents) a minute on the phone and did not tell me otherwise when I picked up the phone. I had a 10 minute or less conversation and was charged 119 dollars.Desired Settlement: I sincerely hope to get my money back (minus the 4 dollars I spent on the phone call). I was in no way, shape or form notified of this possible fee.

Review: Hello, I am a Canadian permanent resident and French citizen who was travelling from Montreal to Frankfurt, Germany. I missed my shuttle bus at the airport and had to wait 11 hours with my wife and 3 children. In order to contact family members in France who could help me, I made some phone calls with my credit cards from a phone booth called T-COM owned by the company BBG communications. I used 3 credit cards because the service was poor, working on and off and sometimes redirecting me to an operator whom I never asked for. The total charge from the company was $ 275.59 (USD). I believe that this charge is unjustified because of the poor quality of the services offered and the fact that my phone calls were brief; and I believe that this charge is illegal because the only fee that was displayed on the booth was "1 euro connection fees". I also noticed that in some cases the connection fees were refunded but the charges applied to the calls (successful or unsuccessful) were the following: $33.25; $56.00; $41.56; $41.59; 41.56 $; 60.81 $; 34.07 USD.Desired Settlement: I desire to be refunded the 3 amounts that were debited from my credit cards: 139.15 USD; 102.37 USD and 34.07 USD.

Hi there,

Review: This company overcharged for an airport payphone 10 min phone call what was advertised as $15.10 but was charged $64.59 instead

On the [redacted] payphone - it advertised that a payphone call was a maximum of 90 DKK ( [redacted]) which is approx. $15.10 and when we received our CCard statement - we were charged $64.59 instead for a 10 min payphone charge. Traced the payphone billing company phone number of ###-###-#### back to [redacted] LLC and talked with a [redacted] who said that when using the payphone that you have to ask for pricing from the Operator - there was no operator and it was all electronic with no Operator intervention - if we knew a 10 min phone call was going to cost $64 - we would have never used it - false advertisingDesired Settlement: Based upon the advertisement on the payphone of a maximum phone call charge of $15.10 that is all we agreed to pay therefore we are looking for a $49.52 refund in order to settle.

Review: I traveled from Chicago to Frankfurt on 06/09/2014. I missed my connecting flight in Frankfurt and therefore was re-reouted to Paris and then to New Delhi. I had to inform my husband here in chicago about this change. I made a phone call using my credit card. While there was no price written on the telephone itself, when I placed the call there was prompt that said that calls to the US were 6 cents/min. My phone call to my husband lasted about 1 minute. I had to make another call from Paris airport as well to inform my husband I was at Paris with my kids. Again that phone call lasted not more than a minute and a half. Both calls were placed through BBG. When I got my credit card statement, I was charged $40.85 for my call from Frankfurt and $56.69 for the call from Paris. I attempted to speak to someone at BBG and he says the rates are: $15 connection fee per call + $ 5/min and I will be charged for a minimum of $5 minutes per call. This was definitely not made clear to me at all. I was told by BBG that a supervisor would contact me, but that never happened. I am sure they have records of how long I talked. My phone calls were extremely short just informing my husband that I had reached the airport and the kids were fine.

When I googled BBG, all I could find were many more customers scammed just like myself from airports in Europe.Desired Settlement: I need my money refunded - $40.85 + $56.69 = $97.54.

Dear

[redacted],

Review: I was charged 50 USD per attempte call by this company, for two attempts that didn't even completed on Sept 22, form the Frankfurt airport. Clearly there was no indicator that that the fee was that high anywhere in the phone booth, otherwise I wouldn't have attempted those calls at allDesired Settlement: Refund the credit card.

Regards,

Review: Hi, I recently used a pay phone in [redacted] as I got separated from family. The phone boothe would not accept coins so I followed the instructions to use my debit card through the international operator. I called the **, a home phone for under 60 seconds to give quick details of my whereabouts for family in [redacted]. On my bank statement I was charged 38.75 GB sterling for this call.My bank has advised that a company called BBG Communications made this charge. Upon doing a google search I am led to believe that they are an American company, ? Based in San Diego?. I read quite a bit of scary information about others experience with them. I am really annoyed as I have cancelled all my cards (they asked me for several stating that my initial card details provided were 'blocked'), I was not informed of the high charge rate otherwise I would not have used the service. When I asked if it was the International Operator service I was told that it was. I am angry that this company has gotten away with placing such an extortionate charge on unsuspecting people. I have contacted [redacted] Trading standards and they advised that if they were a British company that they will have violated the Supply of Sales and Goods Act.I would be really grateful for any advice or information you may offer. Can you clarify if they are a US company? If so, what rights might I have if I were to contact them? And how would you advise that I go about this? Many thanks, [redacted]Desired Settlement: Either full or partial refund of monies debited from my bank account. As I have cancelled the card debited I would like a safe way for payment of refund as I do not trust this company.
