Beachbody over charging people, not processing refunds and not canceling monthly "auto-shippments" upon request of the customer seems to be a very regular and reoccurring issue Like most Beachbody customers, I have also been charged for their oh so convenient "auto-shippment" I was extremely frustrated because I vividly remember reading all the fine print before I punched my Day Fix to insure I was not agreeing to or signing up for anything extra I also confirmed with my Beachbody coach that I was only agreeing to this one time charge for the product Once I received my confirmation email I looked it over to make sure everything looked right and that there was not anything extra or reoccurring on there Everything seemed great Everything I order was shipped in a time matter and arrived quickly A month later I was looking at my bank account statement and I noticed a $to Beachbody Of course I immediately looked at my email confirmations, the packing slip from the original order and I double checked my bank account to make sure the original payment went threw I looked over EVERYTHING they provided me and I could not find any where that explained this new charge I tried to call Beachbody's customer service line but could not get threw I used the chat option to try and figure out what was going on I explained my situation to the representative and her first response was that she was sorry to hear that I wished to cancel my auto-shippments of Shakeology I told the rep that yes, I wanted to cancel and I requested a refund More importantly I told the rep that I wanted to know why I was enrolled in the auto-shipping and asked her to provide written proof that I agreed to this The representative continued to tell me that she would just send a return label I grew extremely frustrated and continued to tell the rep that that is not what I was asking for I requested to see where I was notified of the auto-shipping and where I agreed to allow Beachbody to charge my card The only answer I got was that it will be on the return label I explained that I needed to see WHERE I authorized Beachbody to process this charge As far as I could see it Beachbody processed an unauthorized charge on my account Still no answers just more about the return label I finally stated that if she could not help me then I needed to speak with someone that could The representative then told me that I should of received an email regarding the auto-shipping I advised her that there was nothing about the auto-shipping in either emails I received from them and that I would gladly send them the emails The rep said she was sorry I didn't get the email This experience seems extremely alarming! Why are they unable to provide proof that I (or whomever) authorized them to charge our bank accounts for these auto-shipping payments? Shouldn't this be a simple request? And why is their answer oh I am sorry we didn't send you the email OK well if you didn't send me the email then why is this my issue and why isn't the company willing to work with me to make the problem that they created better?? This is just another example of the shady Beachbody auto-shippments They have finally agreed to refund my account but they said that will take several business days A company that cares about their customers should never trouble the customer so much because of THEIR mistake Who knew it would be SO difficult just to get a copy of an agreement I apparently agreed to! This issue seems to be a very regular and reoccurring complaint and still the company has does nothing to prevent it from happening, they just try to "make it right" with the people they have [redacted] off and do NOTHING to prevent it from happening to future customers I guarantee they won't ever fix this issue because they clearly make so much money off of scamming valued customers with these unknown charges that it is just more cost affective to deal with the handful of customers who actually notice the charges and complain then to actual fix the issue This is why I will NEVER purchase another Beachbody product and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone

I don't often feel it's necessary to negatively review a business, I generally just don't returnBut in this case it's importantToday was the SECOND time I requested not to receive a shakeology orderIt was charged to my account today, the representative said it was shipped yesterdayAnd rather than go into the delivery service (since I was told the rep could see the package in transit) and order a return to sender I was told to wait for the package to arriveThen to call again for another return code and pay my own money to return the boxIn three weeks time my money MIGHT be refundedToday I had to call twice and go online just to cancel The first time this happened I called three times and the representative ended up emailing me a return slip to print out at home at no charge and refunded my money same day Every single one of my customers and downlline coaches have cancelled solely in response to terrible customer service and refund policies Inconsistencies and fine print RULE this company which is unfortunate because it should be about motivating people I also had incorrect dollar amounts on my coach tax documentsThey claimed I made higher commission than I ever received from themMy advice if you're looking to lose weight: have more faith in yourself to do it and put less into money hungry companies like this one

I had to make total calls since September in order to get a membership to a service I was not using cancelled The first one was to cancel the membership The second one was to cancel the membership and have unauthorized charges refundedAt that time I was assured, though not very convincingly, that my membership was cancelled and I would not longer be charged The third call was to cancel the membership and have now multiple unauthorized charges refunded Customer service with Beachbody is a jokeIt leaves much to be desiredI had to ask for a supervisor at least times before I was transferredThe agent offered to have me call my bank to have the charges refunded or to simply cancel my cardI still do not have my charges refunded and was not able to speak with a manager or someone who could assist me Would not recommend this brand to anyone and would recommend that they all go through extensive customer service and business ethics training

This is not an honest company! no one should provide his/her credit card info to this company! I did not authorize them to send me any additional merchandise or debit my credit card account and they did; that is Fraud! I ordered beachbody and specifically said no to all the other things they tried to sell me onI specifically told the rep that I did not want anything for free and I did not need vitamins because I already have the brand that I take A month later I receive vitamins and saw my credit card was debited therefore I immediately called the companyJust as another reviewer said: they told me I would have to pay to return the pills, which I did, and that my credit card account would be refunded in approximately weeksI waited and now a month later my credit card had another charge by this company for vitamins that I do not have, did not agree to receiving and they never refunded the first wrong debitI am disgusted and inconvenienced!

I called the number that was on the infomercial on TV to order the Day Fix The girl on the line informed me that the price was the same as on the first page of the web site as follows(http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/21-day-fix-simple-fitn... She quoted to me a price of payments of $and an additional charge of $for a one time total of $to be charge to the card# I give them She wanted me to add all kinds of additional items, which I politely declined because I only had a limited amount of money in the account Even when one item was only $additional I turned it down because I know I didn't have that much money available to spend from the card I was giving them She said there would be two additional charges at and days from the date of the purchase for $ I agreed to those charges times she quoted a price of $and each time asked me for my card#, and did I authorize the $to be charged to my card Each time I agreed to the $ The next day when I checked my card to verify they had charged me for the correct amount, I was shocked to see that they had actually charged me for $(a difference of $5.46) I spoke to the online chat, and they informed me that this was for tax which I should have been informed during the authorization process I would be charged for However, in my area the tax rate is 7.25%, and that amount is $ So I don't know how they arrived at the $amount When I called the customer service number listed at the web site, they said the tax is charged based on my area, but that can't be true I saw a program on TV about Beachbody, LLC, and they said many positive things about the business, but I am no longer agreeing with them based on my experience I don't trust companies that tell me one charge, and then charge my card a different price then the audio taped and quoted amount

I called to see what some charges on my credit card were for and was told that in the FINE print I agreed to a service that I did not see on there I feel companies are putting more and more in the FINE print just to get money out of the public I feel companies should have to email people when they put things in the FINE print that you will be charged if you do not cancell this service
After reading the reviews on here I am concered that I will even get my credit I was told I would get I will be watching my card closer now that this has happened

I ordered an advertised PiYo excercise progamIt was advertised for $They advertise FREE extras both on their tv ad and their websiteI expected to be billed the $plus shippingI got billed $insteadI called to find out why and was told I ordered the "deluxe" package

So when I called and heard what they had to say, I asked to cancel my order, and was told it could not be canceledIf I wanted to send the extras back, I couldI wanted a breakdown of what cost what and was told to find it on their "team beachbody' website, not the site that advertised the free stuff "if you order now"
This company is in the business of scamming peopleI should have looked for reviews firstI will go ahead and send it all back, I'll review again after I see if I get my refundI hear that is just about impossible

I would never recommend provided your credit card information to this company, even if it's just for a trial, because they will just charge your card without your permission regardless(Unfortunately some of my friends have had the same experience.) I will never do business with them again

I had a horrible experience with Beach BodyI placed a one time order for $for some video tapes for my husbandA month later my account was charged for $I called immediately and was told I was on automatic shipment for supplements! When I told them that I never signed up for that they said it was too late the supplements had already been mailed and that I would have to pay to send them back!!! Well I did, and low and behold the next month I was charge AGAIN! This time for $163, and I STILL have not received my first refund!!! These people are thieves! DONT give them your credit card number!!!

I am a physician that enjoyed the beach body exercise philosophy and workout videos I supported their business and became a coach to help family and friends with their health journeys As soon as this happened, Beachbody began mismanageing my account I was overcharged, double charged, not given commissions or reward incentives as indicated and I had to contact numerous times regarding these issues They "accidentally" returned a coach packet that I never had returned and then recharged me for it and doubled the amount of orders I was charged for over a month periodI spoke with Julia at the escalation department in LA so many times I had her cell phone number and she knew me by name I finally cancelled my account in May after issue after issueNow, they have sent a for income I never received and apparently kept my account open months past the requested cancellation date They insist the 20+months of errors are a "honest mistake" I have spent 20+hours on the phone trying to correct their errors, receive refunds for being overcharged and fix issues with their management The last response was to email their department because they were "too overwhelmed to take calls." Their products and services are very motivating to individuals looking for a home exercise routines Their finance and business department, however, should be under investigation This is a pyramid scheme with poor business management and poor customer service response Their customer service representatives are kind and polite each experience but NEVER fix the problem Thank you

Terrible customer service Very difficult to cancel auto-shipments I like their products but they are too difficult to deal with so I've just given up buying anything from them

I signed up for the online streaming of Beachbody because my sister was so stoked on the service I don't own a TV or DVD player (laptop doesn't have one either) so I was excited they had a streaming service
On the additional info page for the streaming service it showed all of the programs I was interested in (Focus T25, Insanity Max 30, specifically) so I registered for the free Day Trial After I finally was able to log into the site and begin my workouts I was not so pleasantly surprised to find out you DON'T get access to all of their "popular" programs like they marketed, nor do you even get access to all of the programs they specifically noted in text or in image on the info page that would be available to you - you get select workouts The ones I wanted, all you get is a sneak peek and then you have to buy the DVD I bought a bloody streaming service for a reason, fools, and it wasn't to buy your damn DVD's
Due to the advertising of the service, which I initially was super excited about because my sister was, I wanted to make it known this company is not to be trusted and they appear to be proponents of lovely bait and switch tactics I was trying to convince my sister to be a coach since she was so amped on the company, so much so I thought that could have been a potential route for me but I can't sell something for a company I don't trust and I'm going to suggest my sister not either
Stay away from Beachbody if you want to deal with forthright companies because they are not one

I bought day refresh, day fix, and shakeology on June 12th Received confirmation email and tracking number and it stated I would receive shipment by June I never received shipment It was returned because beach body put in my zip code wrong I called and spoke to a gentleman and he reordered it and had it shipped two day delivery When I did not receive it I called back and talked to a representative named Karla She corrected my address yet again and said she would ship it out two day delivery I just called because it has been two days and they are telling me it has not shipped and will not ship for another four days and Karla did not put it in as two day delivery so it will take to business days from days from now! They have already charged my credit card over a month ago and I still do not have product! I will never use beach body again!

My wife canceled her membership with Beachbody several months ago. In the following 12 months, our checking account has been charged $421 by this company. When contacted, Beachbody claims to have resolved the issue. In every instance charges halted the month after the conversation, only to restart 2 months after our phone call. Beachbody needs to be investigated for fraudulent practices regarding the use of customers' banking and credit card information after efforts have been made to cancel memberships and stop any further direct withdrawals from their credit or banking accounts.

Dreadful customer service center. A call center, obviously not housed in the United States. Promises made not followed up. Took 3 calls to finally get a cancellation number on shipments and continuous charges to our credit card.

I would encourage anyone to stay away from this company! I had cancelled my auto ship order and the following month they took the money out of my account again! I was told I had to sign up for this auto stuff and I could cancel after ten days. So that is what I did and I called this company and they confirmed I had cancelled and they would cancel it again. Claim they will refund my money! I explained all the hassle I now have with my bank account and they could not care less. I should have checked on here before I got involved with this company!

There is no way to log in to your account, see your billing activity or cancel your subscription. You can cancel your subscription through live chat, but that is a bizarre way to cancel a subscription and I still couldn't see my account activity. I'm not sure if that is legal or not. That said, the live chat appeared to work.
