Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below There were charges on my bill that did not happenI received printed paper work time and was charged for it multiple times.? There were also other charges I was billed for and it was lot doneI was told I would have to pay it because paperwork said it was done Regards, [redacted]

The customer in the complaint had surgery with us on 3/9/ Our company policy for surgery is to collect any out-of-pocket cost the patient will be responsible for after the insurance claim is processed At time of surgery, she had a $2,deductible which we collected from her
The patients insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, continued to hold the processing of her claim by requesting medical records for the surgeryThe claim was fully processed in August Due to the delay in processing the claim, the patients deductible had already been met On Tuesday, October 25th, Beacon mailed a refund check of $1,(the credit amount on her account) which the customer should receive shortlyWe apologize for any delay in our refund process

To whom it may concern,I would like to apologize for the inconvenience the patient had to go through. We have spoken to our billing supervisor and are addressing the concern regarding the length of wait time it took to get a hold of a billing representative. The address we have on file
for the patient has been corrected, so it matches what the patient wrote down on their registration. Currently, the patient has no statements that are in collections. Regarding x-rays being taken during a visit, the physician reviews the patient’s history of present illness and examines the injured area. Similar to this patients visit, the physician thought x-ray images were needed in order to correctly diagnose the patientX-ray images rule out more than just broken bones such as structure abnormalities, correct bone alignment, as well as any inflammation that wouldn’t otherwise be recognized without imagingRegarding the patient’s physical therapy visit, the physician wanted the patient to be seen for one therapy evaluation and then start the home therapy exercisesThe reason the physician ordered the one time physical therapy evaluation was to have the therapist look at further patient deficits, allow the therapist to create a customized program specific to the patient, and have the patient demonstrate exercises to the therapist to make sure they are done properly so no further injuries could occur. *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** If there is anything else needed at this time, please let us know.Sincerely,Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine
