Hi, KevinJust to let you know, the shipment arrived and the Aspen Garbage Can Enclosures are beautiful Thank you so much for all your assistance as I will recommend Bearicuda to others

Kevin, Thank you so much for the outstanding customer service you gave me! I have worked in community relations for decades and always am impressed when I see stellar customer relations because, unfortunately, it’s a rare commodityTo call me on your cell phone from the road within an hour of my email to your company was remarkable Please know how much I appreciate your going above and beyond to try to get the garbage cans to meI will be sure to sing your company’s praises to anyone who wants to hear it and look forward to using what I feel certain will be an unparalleled productWith someone like you at the helm, it could not be anything but the bestThanks again! Shelley

Hi Kevin, I bought a couple of bear bins a number of years ago to cope with the bears tearing up our trash area here in the southern California mountainsBears have knocked them around many times but today when I got home from church I noticed that one was goneI couldn't believe someone would have stolen onePlus it was the full oneI was worried that my identity could be compromisedI looked all around the property but it was goneThen I looked across the streetYepfeet away up a steep mountainside I spied it upside down in the cabin's front yardI went over and the whole area was torn upI guess the bear must have had a fun time bouncing it aroundMy wife then told me that she heard the bears grunting and growling and knocking things around last nightNo biggie since it happens pretty regularly but as you can see from the pictures, he was able to chew or tear part of it but never got to the goodies insideBoth bear bins have been beaten up pretty regularly over the years but these have with stood lots of prying and beatingWhile we don't have grizzlies around hear, we do have some good 350-pounders who make trash areas a messThey have destroyed chain link enclosures beforeThis time Yogi did get it over a foot cement wall, across the street and up steep stone retaining pile, over boulders and up and onto the neighbors property so it wasn't like he wasn't trying to get it openBut he didn'tThanks for a great product

Almost a year ago and after a lot of internet research on bear proof containers, I purchased a gallon Bearicuda Stealth II bear proof container through a local waste disposal company I am not in the waste disposal company’s service area but they sold me a Bearicuda regardless The waste disposal company selected Bearicuda products to service a portion of one of their city service areas shortly before I purchased my container This particular city passed an ordinance requiring bear proof containers in certain portions of that city With all that being said, I encountered an issue with my container I got on the Bearicuda website over the weekend and left a detailed email Kevin from Bearicuda Increspond promptly Monday morning The issue was not a warranty item related to Bearicuda, however, Kevin contacted the local waste disposal company and together they resolved the situation beyond my expectations Amazingly the issue was completely resolved that same Monday Some of the best customer service I have had the pleasure of experiencing Remember, I am not a customer of the waste disposal company from which I purchased the Stealth II and it was not a Bearicuda warranty item, yet I sit here typing of the positive experience I encountered with both companies

Hi Kevin, We LOVE our bin It's the first time in years we've been able to have our garbage outside and not in the garage! Now we have a smelling garage It must be driving the critters wildAnd by the way your customer service people are fantasticAs silly as it may sound, this can was one of the best purchases we have ever madeThanks and have a great weekendLinda O IL  [redacted]

Hello, I ordered one of your Stealth cans a few months back and I just wanted to say how pleased I am with itIt's been tested several times already and living in Colorado are bears can be pretty aggressive! On one attempt, the bear took a small bite where the lid connects to the can and gave upThank you for creating such a quality productOh, and your customer service is excellent

Kevin, I live in the blue ridge mountains of sw VirginiaLiving here all my life, bears and other wildlife are apart of mountain lifeIn the last years I have tried everything to protect our trash cans at our homeStraps, covers, enclosures, you name it, I have tried itA couple weeks ago my wife sent me a link to your companyI watched the video of the grizzly trying to get into the can with no success and was soldI purchased bearicuda stealth trash cans and they arrived last weekExcited and still a bit skeptical, I was hoping the bear would give them a good testI woke up this am and saw both cans on the ground, teeth marks, claw marks, but as advertised the bear could not get inI have enclosed some pictures that I captured of our friend trying to get inCongrats on making an incredible product! I will be recommending you to all of my neighbors! KC G

We ordered the Stealth model to see if it was as good at keeping out the squirrels as it is at keeping out the bearsHard to believe but people actually told me that it was more difficult to prevent squirrels than bearsWe are very happy to report successNo more trash all over the ground! Our facility looks great and we don't have to waste any more time cleaning upWell constructed product, and honest, informative serviceI'm glad we found you

Stealth bin was received this afternoon in perfect conditionAll is well !! Thanks for your effortsYou are terrific

I own a home in Lake Tahoe, California, where we have many bears coming through our yard and down our street I had garbage cans with tight fitting lids and I still
had to pick up garbage if I put it out too early The bears seem to know what day
garbage day is!!! I finally purchased a Bearicuda bin and haven't had to pick up garbage since I spend part of the summer in Montana at my son's house and they
have neighbor dogs that scatter garbage I purchased a Bearicuda bin for my son
and no more problem with scattered garbageLove your product.....Virginia

The Bearicuda Stealth Bear Proof Gargage Can is without a doubt the best being produced in the USA todayI have been a volunteer with the Florida Wildlife Commission and observed first hand the damage a bear can do to a garbage can that is not constructed to withstand the efforts of a hungry pound Florida Black BearThe Bearicuda Product is able to withstand those attacks, and frustrate the Bear to the extent that they do not return for future attacksOur can has been observed by bears using it as a basketball, rolling it around the driveway, and even lying on it to open it...Never a positive experience for the bearThese cans are the bestI have recommended it to many friends, all who have loved the can

The lid works great! It's just what I neededGreat communication, responsiveness and service!

The Bearicuda Aspen 3-door trash bin cabinet enclosure is an excellent product, nicely finished and clearly built to last though many New England winters!
I am very pleased with this Garbage Can Enclosure from Bearicuda, great service, friendly peopleBarbara *** ***

I heard loud noises and things going BUMP! in the middle of one very dark and stormy nightMy first thought was a bear, living as I do at the higher elevations in the Smokies, but the 'rhythmic clunking' I heard sounded awfully c-l-o-s-e, like maybe even right below my bedroom windowCat Kidder who had been asleep on my bed jumped to the bay window seat to have a look, too; his tail in alert mode and fluffy, with back archedWas it someone trying to push their way into the garage door below my bay window? We are out in the middle of nowhere, you knowThe garage is equipped with three huge motorized Overhead brand garage doors that appear impenetrable from the outside, although I guess where there is a will there is a way? My imagination at that midnight hour was definitely kicking into overdriveWith flashlight in hand I rushed to turn on the six exterior floodlights that lit up the entire garage apron and retaining wall where the noise appeared to be coming fromThings immediately became quiet...sh-hhhhh...I listened some moreThen a few minutes later while I was still standing in stealth mode in the dark livingroom I heard dogs spontaneously barking farther on down the mountainThe lights must have done the trick, whatever it was, I thought to myself as I crawled back into bedSure enough, it was a bear!
When I looked out my bay window at dawn that next morning I saw that our huge, heavy, bear-proof trash can was knocked over on its side, although it was still intact and padlocked to the treeThe purpose of the cable is to keep the can from being rolled down the mountainside as a bear struggles to get into itI learned from experience to secure the can in this way, as some elderly neighbors didn't do that; and they routinely had to retrieve their can and messy kitchen garbage from impossible to reach places at great length from their houseNot only that, but their cans were made of cheap flexible plastic that any bear worth its salt could easily crushIn case you are wondering, this is the company promo for the 96-gallon bear-proof trash can we use at our house:
www.bearicuda.com/critter-can/stealth-bear-proof-garbage-can.php
It definitely works! It is a wheeled design that uses steel reinforced angle iron, and it has a heavy-duty double-wall molded body as well as a special recessed latching mechanism on the lid that a bear paw cannot accessAn Update
That particular Black bear has been visiting our trash can almost nightly now for weeks, making very loud THUMPING sounds to announce himself as he pushes against the can with his front paws and the full weight of his bodyThis is clearly a learned behavior from visiting other trash cans in the region where this technique easily pops open the lid...even screwed on lids that some people just think are foolproofI have had to rearrange and lengthen the two padlocked cables that secure the can, and I have even had to move the can to a more distant tree so that I can sleep through this bear's late-night workoutsYes, the can still ends upside down and every-which-way-wonky the next morning when I head out to inspect itAnd even the ground is getting a bit torn up around itBut I am happy to report that the score is still in my favorHomeowner: 100%
Bear: 0%
It has definitely prevented this and other bears from getting into the trash which is best for all concerned!
(Can you hear it now?)
THUMP THUMP THUMP CRACK! BANG! ROLL...ROLL...GR-RRRROWL andGR-RRROWL some moreI can only hope that he will tire and move on soon*** ***

My journey for a quality trash bin, began when the trash collector picked up a standard plastic trash bin filled with outdated paper applications and the handle busted offThen strong winds rolled the old trash bin 1/acre and cracked it with a foot long splitMotivated for a solution, rather than settle for another of the same quality binI did an internet search for the best quality trash bin and behold Bearicuda Bins appeared as an optionI CLICKED BUYMy testimony, is the quality is outstandingBacked by its Pawprint of Quality Guarantee, the days for settling for less was OVER

Fantastic product and really spectacular service - from ordering to shipping to installation and after sale support Bearicuda Bins is one of those exceptional companies with a great product and even better service I would recommend them to anyone else who is looking to purchase top-notch outdoor enclosures that can withstand any/all elements (animals, weather, etc,.)

Just an updateIt is snowing here in WV and to get inches or moreI put my trash can out last night for Friday PUThis AM it was GONE!!!! Charlotte

Hey Bearicuda Folks,
I just wanted to let you know I am very happy with the Stealth cans I bought a few months ago. They work and were put to the test by a very big black bear 10 minutes ago!!! They have tried before but this time I witnessed it. Also your customer service is excellent. I had a little trouble with the locks and you immediately sent me two extras and they are working just fine. Your advice about loosening the nut worked! I recommend you all the time. Thank you!
