The body shop did not damage the bumperIt was damaged from previous repair somewhere elseHis insurance company will not replace the bumperHis insurance company has inspected the vehicle and agreed we have completed all they approvedWe addressed all the concerns the customer has listedThe customer was never charged for a rental

It is clear this dealer is not willing to fix their wrong doing After all the opportunities given to rectify the situation, the members of tgis dealership will not work The tactics they use to sell cars are deceiving and dishonest practices they use in order to sell their cars This dealership did not resolve the situation Is a shame this dealership behaves this way with their potential customers

Yes, it took five months for me to receive an uncontested refund but the check finally came and appears to have cleared the bank I thank the Revdex.com for its efforts on my behalf

[redacted] *** [redacted] DearI received your mail. Can you tell me the definition on mechanical failure. If you would not cover a mechanical failure, why you tried to fix the car?Why you replaced the steering pressure hose? Why you replaced the rack and pinion and tie rode? Why you replaced the cooler line? Why Bobby Leyman told you couple of wires was burned and your adjuster declined the work to be done.I had the history of this car since I bought it November I never had problems with that carThe problems started when the car got fire on September 25, 2017.Have we can drive a car with burning wire. Please find a better way to solve my problem Thanks

We apologize for any misunderstandingsWe've checked our records, and we did not find where we have pulled credit in the last thirty days on this customerHe is welcome to call me, and we can check it againI can be reached at 614-275-05**Thank you Fred D [redacted] , Used Car Manager

I have spoke with the customer and resolved the situationExplanation of repairs and further diagnosis of the vehicle at no chargeThank You

Spoke with customer 6/5/he is out of townI understand the customers frustration but I did not have this information I have pulled the customer's history and spoken with GMThe customer has already been reimbursed once before for this repair through the Saturn dealer he was dealing with before they closed I am still working with GM to get the new claim handled

I am rejecting this response because: Bobby Layman cracked the casing on it when thay took it outIf we would have cracked it installing it, it would never have driven the miles that it was driven; it would have broken off by that time Regardless the internal front pump on the transmission was broken and not pumping Had it continued working noone would notice the crack anyway because it would have continued to shift I talked to the mechanic working on it and he told me that it was the front pump that was out, and he showed me that it was full of clutch dust/debrisStill only miles since installed It has now been at their location for about weeks I spoke to a rep from General Mtrsthat I called after Layman's told me that transmission was damaged and she told me that I would hear back from them within hours, which I did not She called me on 4-to see if they had resolved the matter when she was told that we were yet to hear back from Layman's Bobby Layman's did call for me on 4-15-in the late afternoon and I was not in so called them back within the hour The gentleman that had called had left his direct line for me to call but he did not answer that or the call to him that was placed through their main switchboard, nor did he return my call, after leaving message Called for him again around 8:on 4-and was able to reach a gentleman in service They now have the truck torn apart and claiming no blame for damage so they plan to assemble a bill to cover the cost of both tearing it down, checking it out, and reassembling it so that it may be pulled out of there Presently I have heavy duty tow bills into getting the truck to them and now they plan on me paying to have it pulled out without being repaired leaving me to replace a "supposed" warranted part from their shop and also leaving me to cover the loss of their work and I never even signed a paper at Layman's giving them the right to work on the truck Presently the truck is torn down there where they took the transmission out and the last time I was in there the engine was being supported by the motor mounts, transmission apart and cannot be towed out that way

They lied about me selecting a different vehicle and not taking out the previous offer on the vehicle....I called in and spoke to Dave S [redacted] about the 2010 chevy Silverado that I saw online saying it was new on the lot and to call for pricing...he held the keys and my wife and I went in and looked at that truck and only that truck and then went to his desk to figure out payments and then he ran my credit 7 times and changed all the prices. They lied to me on the phone when I called back in the next day and they lied in their response to the claim on here.

Thank you for the opportunity to adress her concernsWe tried very hard to help her get financingWe let her drive the car for about two months while we tried to get financing for herWhen we learned we could not get her financed, we had to ask her to return the carBut as a gesture of customer courtesy we returned her $1,deposit to her

I have not been reimbursed for the claim filed on 1/8/2015, which is the pertinent claim Further, GM customer service advised me on February 10, March and April that Bobby Layman Chevrolet had all the information they needed To process the refund Furthermore, GM advised that Bobby Layman Chevrolet would be issuing a Check by May 8, The only acceptable resolution is the issuance of the amount due to me under the applicable GM recall The claim form specifically indicated that Bobby Layman had days to protest the claim The days was up on February 8, Where is my check? As for the call, I was advised that Mr*** would call me back and that did not happen either We spoke but once. This is a GM recall All forms were submitted JanuRy 8, I am due a refund Bobby Layman has not issued it

We apologize for any misunderstanding or miscommunicationOur sales associate, *** spoke to *** many times over several weeks about this vehicle*** had his mechanic look it over, and our mechanic looked it over, and the vehicle had brake issuesOur proposal to *** was that we would reduce
the price of the vehicle to $16,and fix the brakesUnfortunately, when *** texted ***, the text said $14,The sales manager told *** the offer was $16,with brakes*** conveyed this immediately to ***We are very sorry *** feels we misled himWe did not mislead him intentionallyThe text was a simple typo. The text was unfortunate, and we apologize for it, but we cannot sell the car for $14,We strive for excellent customer service, and are sorry we wer unable to satify ***Thank you for your understanding

Our used car manager (Fred D***) researched this dealHe ran a new Car Fax today and the accident did show on this reportThe accident in question happened 7/10/two years before Bobby Layman Chevrolet owned the vehicleThe accident may not have been reported at the time we sold the
vehicleCar Fax does not always get reported to right awayThe customer has owned this vehicle for yearsFred has offered to take the vehicle in trade if the customer is interested in something else

I am rejecting this response because:The repairs made were made due to safety issues found less than days after purchase and the staff at Bobby Layman did not address Instead, they chose to dodge phone calls and offer us $for what could have been more than $in repairsThe repairs were made by an ASE certified repair center. The dealership in question is responsible for evaluating safety related issues and make the needed repairs before any vehicle is presented for sale according to the state of Ohio law The AS IS language does not matter in this case We are out more than $for fundamental safety repairs that were not addressed by the dealership. We have photos and a video of all of our claims We will never purchase from this dealer again We expect to be reimbursed for our costs that are directly related to safety issues with this vehicle.Regards,
*** ***

Nathan H*** the technician from Bobby Leyman who work on my car told to Jeffrey the insurance company adjuster that the transmission failure is not due to the fire and the adjuster had this argumentSince the car got fire on September the transmission started leaking the rack and pinion the pressure steering hose and the coolant lineThose leaks are the causes of the transmission failure.*** Transmissions technician said the coolant line damaged and the transmission leak are the cause. You call *** *** * for more info about transmission. The car went to two shops before Bobby Leyman and knew since the leak the transmission began bad. Thanks
