There is nothing Bobby Layman Chevrolet can do for this customerGeneral Motors denied assistance due to improper installation by the customerWe did not

As said before it is not a rejection by us the dealerThe adjuster did speak with our tech but they do the evaluationWe would not turn away workThe customers insurance company turned it down not us. Nothing we can do

I have proof of my credit being ran by Bobby Layman and they continue to lie about it, they said they would send me a letter apologizing and they never did spoke to someone about the last complaint and never got taken care of eitherThe reason you just now checked your records for the last days and didn't see anything is because the original issue happened over months agoBobby Layman your salesman and manager are pathetic and have a major lack of integrity

I have spoke with the customer and resolved the situation. Explanation of repairs and further diagnosis of the vehicle at no charge. Thank You

The customer was returned her $1,000.00 and she drove our vehicle for over 90 days.

Spoke with customer 6/5/15 he is out of town. I understand the customers frustration but I did not have this information.  I have pulled the customer's history and spoken with GM. The customer has already been reimbursed once before for this repair through the Saturn dealer he was dealing with...

before they closed.  I am still working with GM to get the new claim handled.

We apologize for any misunderstandings. We've checked our records, and we did not find where we have pulled credit in the last thirty days on this customer. He is welcome to call me, and we can check it again. I can be reached at 614-275-05**. Thank you.   Fred D[redacted], Used Car Manager

As Ii have already told the customer GM denied the claim not BobbyLayman Chevrolet. I also told the customer we would take it further and have a GM representative look at the case. He will look at it on Monday 4-13-15. We work for our customer but we can't warranty something unless GM Ok's and pays...

us.

They lied about me selecting a different vehicle and not taking out the previous offer on the vehicle....I called in and spoke to Dave S[redacted] about the 2010 chevy Silverado that I saw online saying it was new on the lot and to call for pricing...he held the keys and my wife and I went in and looked at that truck and only that truck and then went to his desk to figure out payments and then he ran my credit 7 times and changed all the prices. They lied to me on the phone when I called back in the next day and they lied in their response to the claim on here.

I am rejecting this response because: Bobby Layman cracked the casing on it when thay took it out. If we would have cracked it installing it, it would never have driven the 4000 miles that it was driven; it would have broken off by that time.   Regardless the internal front pump on the transmission was broken and not pumping.  Had it continued working noone would notice the crack anyway because it would have continued to shift.  I talked to the mechanic working on it and he told me that it was the front pump that was out, and he showed me that it was full of clutch dust/debris. Still only 4000 miles since installed.   It has now been at their location for about 3 weeks.  I spoke to a rep from General Mtrs. that I  called after Layman's told me that transmission was damaged and she told me that I would hear  back from them within 24 hours, which I did not.  She called me on 4-13 to see if  they had resolved the matter when she was told that we were yet to hear back from Layman's.    Bobby Layman's did call for me on 4-15-15 in the late afternoon and I was not in so called them back within the hour.
The gentleman that had called had left his direct line for me to call but he did not answer that or the call to him that was placed through their main switchboard, nor did he return my call, after leaving message.   Called for him again around 8:20 on 4-16 and was able to reach a gentleman in service.  They now have the truck torn apart and claiming no blame for damage so they plan to assemble a bill to cover the cost of both tearing it down, checking it out, and reassembling it so that it may be pulled out of there.  Presently I have 2 heavy duty tow bills into getting the truck to them and now they plan on me paying to have it pulled out without being repaired leaving me to replace a "supposed" warranted part from their shop and also leaving me to cover the loss of their work and I never even signed a paper at Layman's giving them the right to work on the truck.    Presently the truck is torn down there where they took the transmission out and the last time I was in there the engine was being supported by the motor mounts, transmission apart and cannot be towed out that way.

Revdex.com called business to follow up on this complaint and spoke to [redacted], who said consumer should have received his refund by now. GM approved it and he sent him a check about a week ago.

[redacted]DearI received your mail. Can you tell me the definition on mechanical failure. If you would not cover a mechanical failure, why you tried to fix the car?Why you replaced the steering pressure hose? Why you replaced the rack and pinion and tie rode? Why you replaced the cooler line? Why Bobby Leyman told you couple of wires was burned and your adjuster declined the work to be done.I had the history of this car since I bought it November 2012. I never had problems with that car. The problems started when the car got fire on September 25, 2017.Have we can drive a car with burning wire. Please find a better way to solve my problem Thanks

It is clear this dealer is not willing to fix their wrong doing.  After all the opportunities given to rectify the situation, the members of tgis dealership will not work.  The tactics they use to sell cars are deceiving and dishonest practices they use in order to sell their cars.  This dealership did not resolve the situation.  Is a shame this dealership behaves this way with their potential customers

Not all vehicles have incentive money from the manufacturer. The first vehicle chosen by the customer did have but the final choice did not. The sales man did not know until he looked up the second vehicle. The dealer sends request to the banks for credit. They inquire the credit reports. The Sales...

Manager will be calling the customer.  Thank You

The body shop did not damage the bumper. It was damaged from previous repair somewhere else. His insurance company will not replace the bumper. His insurance company has inspected the vehicle and agreed we have completed all they approved. We addressed all the concerns the customer has listed. The...

customer was never charged for a rental.

on july 27, I called the general manager regarding the response given by the dealer in which it says customer was approved with 500 dollars down and...

general manager seemed to be unaware of the response given to the Revdex.com.  Around 1 pm, [redacted] called my cell phone because General manager had left him a message in regards to our conversation.   [redacted] began to tell me that the deal is for 5000 dollars down and 19% interest.   He also seemed unaware of the response given to the Revdex.com.  Based on the response by Bobby Layman, they spoke with the finance department and were able to approve the camaro with 500 dollars down not 5000 dollars he told me over the phone on 7/27/2015.  Very politely I informed mr [redacted] to look at the response given to the Revdex.com and call me when they have everything organized.

Thank you for the opportunity to adress her concerns. We tried very hard to help her get financing. We let her drive the car for about two months while we tried to get financing for her. When we learned we could not...

get her financed, we had to ask her to return the car. But as a gesture of customer courtesy we returned her $1,000.00 deposit to her.

Vehicle was sold As Is a year ago. Management has no knowledge of any complaints after purchase. Due to length of time they cannot assist.

Yes, it took five months for me to receive an uncontested refund but the check finally came and appears to have cleared the bank.
I thank the Revdex.com for its efforts on my behalf.
