leaking water line that was installed only 3 yrs. ago.
Tate Duncan came out from belred energy to fix leak.we were upset that it had to be redone since it was done only 3 yrs. ago. Well, we had to do it at 2100.00 dollars. That sucks. the positive part is Fate Duncan rebuild the line and valve and did a much better, more functional job than was done before. total professional job. Nice guy and a total pro. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First, I don’t know why Revdex.com has the pdf ‘ [redacted] Estimate’ with my signature as I didn’t signed any document(s) before the services were finishedThis estimate documentation with ALL service items showed is supposed to be reviewed and signed by customer before the services startI confirm that I didn’t see and sign this ‘ [redacted] Estimate’ pdf Second, the invoice page I signed only showed the total of $1,on the screen without the service item breakdown costs like the invoice email I receivedI was only told the total price ($ 1150) about the service I picked without knowing the item costs (Furnace Maintenance $199, Replace universal gas valve $and installing a drip let $299)I was not informed the service details/cost breakdownThe Revdex.com website says: Tell the Truth Honestly represent products and services, including clear and adequate disclosures of all material termsI believe that Bel Red Energy Solutions does not abide by thisThird, after I received and viewed the invoice sent by email, I found Revdex.com charged me one item (Service: Environmental/ Misc Fee $18) which I didn’t get informed and agreeSincerely, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] had us out to service his system on 8/20/After assessing the system he was offered three options for repair and enhancements as per his own statement and our system logs He picked the middle option consisting of: Furnace Maintenance $discounted to $149, Replace universal gas valve $installing a drip leg $ He had two other options he choose not to perform The services we performed were signed off by him and approved before the work was performed (copy of estimate attached) The technicians notes from that day are: “Performed precision tune on furnaceCleaned filtersShowed customer naoto clean filtersThey need to be cleaned every three monthsCleaned and adjusted burnersChecked, tightened and adjusted elect all fittings on circuit boardChecked operation of thermostat, blower motor and exhaust motorFound gas valve leaking when turned offReplaced gas valve and installed drip legRec to replace gas safety shut off valveFound exhaust system leaking at sealsExhaust assembly should be cleaned and resealed.Rec replacement due to age of unit.” The invoice was signed for by the customer before the work was performed per our system logging (copy of invoice attached) All the services were performed, charged for accurately and approved by the customerThe customer placed a stop-payment on the check and still owes BelRed $1,

I purchased a home with a furnace that had been installed and regularly serviced by Bel Red Energy. Bel Red called me and I agreed to do the annual maintenance – Heat Only for $203 plus tax. The technician (Jake P [redacted] ) arrived to my house at 7am on 8/20/2016 and started examining the furnace. After 15 minutes, he talked to me that he detected leaks from furnace gas valve. I didn’t smell any natural gas leak so I asked him how he diagnosed the problem. He showed me the machine like carbon monoxide detector and the machine displayed the carbon monoxide level changed when he put the machine close to gas valve. He suggested I should replace the gas valve and provided me three different service options. He recommended the option 2 (Replace Gas Valve + Install Drip Leg for $1155 plus tax) because he said the old drip leg might cause the gas leak. I was confused and asked where actually caused the gas leak now. He said the gas valve caused the leaks but the old drip leg might have the risk

This company performed a $fix on my AC unit and told me it should last at least another years The unit lasted days and has completely failed Come to find out the compressor was failing before the performed the "fix" I've asked a refund on the repair and they refuse to provide it I feel I have been scammed

This a lengthy read but sooo worth itTo Potential customer of Bel Red Energy Solutions, My name is ***, and I would like to share a sad and scary experiemce with this companyIn May of 2017, I asked Bel Red to send someone over to assess my water heater We would only get hot water for a few days and then the pilot would go out Below discribes the bill padding, customer intemidation and poor Customer care response from this companyA plumber comes to my home,, bends downlookes at the pilot light and states ""it is the gas valve"Now all of the info I researched states probably the Thermalcupler,Which is aprox a $fixI asked him the cost of repair and he states " $That raised red flags for meHe didn't even check the thermalcuplerI informed him of my research and he still insisted is was the gas valveAt that point he began to sell me a maintainace plan that would hve me pay $a mouth for year, but could not use it until I had paind into it for a year" But you can save $of you bill now"I declined of course I paid a the deposit to cover the visit and the cost of the part (in case he was right)After he left I researched Gas Valves and called the maker of my water heaterMy research had stated that is was rare for a gas valve to failThe manufacture stated the sameThey also stated, " With the sysmptoms you gave me it's even more unlikely it is the gas valve"I called Bel Red about 3days later and asked them to send someone out for a second opion, and gave them the reason whyGuess who the send,THE SAME PLUMBER I COMPLAINED ABOUT!!!.That is an absolute NO NO in businessPlus he told me he was there to put in the the valveI told him he was missinformedI had requisted a second opinion on his diagnostics Ater he left I call Bel Red and spoke to the supiversor, for an explainatonHe stated "It's not uncommon for us to send the same plumber out to a job"I told him that was ok for adjustments but never send the same emplyee for a cosumer compaint: you should know thisThis supervisor was still oblivious to this rationaleThey sent another plumber that dayand guess what...He fixex the problem in mins It was a small pipe that had dislodged and starved the pilot light A $fix, not $He then told me I would be getting a refundNow for the terrrible customer care response
I wated so see if Bel Red would contact me with and apology/or some type of compensationI waited 7days and no contactSo I decided to call themI spoke with the district managerShe asked if I was calling about my refund checkI told her no, I was calling her to find out why after days no one had called me with an apology: why am I the one making contactHer response, "yes we are sorry and this will be broughtup at the next meeting"I then asked her if the ckeck was for the full deposit of $She stated "no, It is for $the cost of the part" I told her I was suprised it was not for the full amout due to poor service, bill upcharging, and a hint of cutomer intimidationThe customer was righ after allHer reply " I have worked the this plumber for years and will never admit he was fraudulentWe sent master plumbers to your home and did'nt charge you for the second, and the problem was fixedMy impression of this comversation was, She believed admitting wrong doing would admit fraudI told her "whether you feel your employee was or wasn't fraudulent, did not excuse everything that had happened to me."

In regard to customer *** * *** and the letter disputing service costs from Bel Red Energy Solutions, this letter is to clearly outline and address the specific issues and concerns detailed in his complaint
On April 25, at 11:Mr*** *** called and requested a Furnace
Diagnostic on his year old Furnace because something was wrong with itMr*** said that it was flashing four flashes which he believed to be a high limit switchWe booked the call for the next day with an initial cost of $plus tax for our HVAC Technician to come to his residence to perform the diagnostic and give an estimate on how much it would be to repair the systemMr*** agreed to the price of the diagnostic charge and set the appointment
Jake went out to Mr*** home and performed a diagnostic and found the following things that needed to be addressedOur technician recommended a circuit board to be replaced because the current board had burn marks on it, replace the high limit switch which had failed and is a factory ordered part, and clean the blower wheel because it was dirty and that put more stress on the blower motor which has shown to cause the motor to fail soonerUpon presenting the estimate to fix these issues and the costs for these repairs Mr*** agreed to have the High Limit switch replaced and signed the estimate for a replacement at a cost of $plus taxOur technician ordered the factory supplied High Limit switch with a rush delivery and made arrangements with Mr*** to come back out at the end of the day to install the High Limit SwitchMr*** agreed to this and paid for the diagnostic invoice number #for $plus taxOur Technician arrive at Mr*** home at 3:05pm and completed the approved repair on the system by installing the new High Limit SwitchBecause Jake had everything prepped for the installation of the High Limit Switch the repair only took until 3:and he was completed and the system was back up and runningAll costs including the Environmental fee (this is for the miscitems that are not per piece such as wire ties, nuts, fasteners, etc.) were listed on the signed invoiceI have attached all the signed documents to this response
Mr*** knew and approved the cost prior to us ordering the factory part and installing the High Limit SwitchThere is a cost for getting the factory part same day, using a parts runner to get the part from the vendor to the technician, and the technician making two trips to the home to diagnose the system and returning to repair the systemThe cost given covered not only the parts, but also services mentioned aboveBel Red Energy Solutions uses a Flat Rate price book that includes the price of the part and the labor to install it plus a warranty on that part for year and a lifetime warranty on the labor of the repairOur technicians are also highly trained and bring with them the skills to correctly diagnose and repair HVAC systemsTo provide this high quality of skills and service there is a cost

We requested that we would be getting a filter box put in with our furnace and the price we were quoted was $We were then told that could not be done because the flue pipe went up the front and they manufactured a filter system that does not properly allow the filters to be installed without being bent upWhen we called to let them know that the filters have to be bent and the flue pipe did not go up the front and we could have the filter box we were then quoted a price of $to put the filter box inThey also did not purchase the permit for installing the furnace until 12/27/The furnace was put in 12/18/17, I thought permits needed to be purchased before the installation? I called to talk to them but no one called me back, I had to keep calling the company to try to get them to make the situation rightThey also left the hole where the flue pipe was supposed to go in the front open with no cover - a paper was laid on top of the holeThey finally came out and cut a pi

On 11/15/I purchased and installed a York Mod Heating and ventilation system from Bel Red SolutionI was given a "NO RISK PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE"Ever since I got the system Bel Red has been out to my house to repair it constantlyThey have been out every yearIn I contacted Bel Red and complained that the system was a LEMONI believe that under the "NO RISK PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE" I am entitled to a full refundI asked a lawyer to write them a letter and Bel Red has not responded to the eitherThe lawyer called Bel Red times and each time they told him that they would get back to him and they never didThis machine has performed so poorly that it should have been recalled by the manufacturerBel Red just keep charging to come and fix something they they should have responsible forDocuments are available upon request

On March BelRed Energy serviced our furnaceWe were on vacation and my neighbor was house sittingI was informed by e-mail, we were in New Zealand at the time and not expected back to the states until the end of March that our furnace was not working and that the house was down to degrees FI informed my neighbor to get it repaired because of the damp and cold weather, she called BelRed EnergyThey fixed the furnace and I was presented with a dollar billOn my return to the states I called BelRed and informed them that the furnace had a year warranty and *** said the Tech *** *** did not figure that in the price and that I would be receiving a plus tax rebate, which did not happen, I received a tax included rebate that was covered under the year warranty by *** *** who the furnace was made bySo by the numbers-Charged Total Bill---plus Tax, plus $Diagnostic fee plus a $dollar Environment
