At years of age I was taken advantage of financially by Bell Ford located at *** *** *** *** *** ** *** I now realize they are not Revdex.com Accredited and I know why!! I contacted another Ford dealership in Arizona and will not name to protect them as they were honest They told me the car deal was okay and it did come with a good warranty but I was taken advantage (like I purchased two vehicles) of I paid a good portion in cash from my parents' inheritance and I was not capable of doing the math After paying for and doing the financing through them that told me they would give me a interest rate under up to be much higher and only gave me $1,for my Hyundai in great shape (new tires, special wheels, new battery and well maintained) I was told I should have received a LOT more money for my traby more than one person! My sales person was great but that is where it ended!! I have all the paperwork to prove this - I even went to the General Manager and he told me I got a good deal and would not budge!!!!!

Lee S[redacted] has indicated that he made a fair offer of $1,000 however I was in a deficit of over $2,000 and would have not pursued any action if this amount had been paid.  In his responses he is accusing me of extortion when he was the one who offered less than half “for me to go away” (in his words).   In reference to his latest response dated 3-8-2016 he once again evaded the issues of  lying and re-installing broken parts in my brand new Ford F150 Platinum Truck.  There should no discount for lying and dishonesty so I was not willing to accept his original offer of $1,000. The money never was the main issue and now it is even less of an issue however when Lee gives me a check for the amount I was requesting I will be donating it to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Sincerely, [redacted]

Beware of Bell Ford’s underhanded fraudulent business practices. At final inspection after purchasing a new vehicle from Bell Ford I found a discrepancy with the mileage. Both the ADOT Secure Odometer Disclosure and Bell Ford Sale of Contract for Motor Vehicle listed the odometer mileage as 78 the vehicle odometer was 1596 miles. I asked the New Car Director to either compensate for the mileage or void the transaction. He replied something to the effect there wasn’t enough margin and voided the transaction.

The next day Peoria Ford sold me a vehicle almost identical to Bell Ford’s with the following additional options spray in bed liner, exterior coating and detailing every 6 months for 3 years, nitrogen filled tires and upgrade from standard to maximum tow package for an additional 37 cents. Upon receipt of Peoria’s vehicle the odometer (58 miles) agreed with the documentation and the interior/exterior was flawless, Bell’s had paint and other imperfections.

On 27 October 2014, our customer  did bring her vehicle in for  diagnoses of a "Check Engine Light". Although the check engine light was not on we were able to run a Pin Point Test (PPT) to determine that the #6 coil was shorting out. I have provided a copy of the PPT in its entirety. We...

recommended the coil and all the spark plugs be replaced. The coil and all of the plugs, because the plugs were not OEM and we have experienced the aftermarket plugs causing drivability  issues. Our customer chose to take her vehicle to [redacted] to have the work completed. Our customer did come back to show me that [redacted] replaced the plugs and wires with aftermarket parts and stated that did not correct her issue. I do not recall if [redacted] replaced the shorted coil.  She stated that [redacted] told her she needed to replace her engine and she demanded that I reimburse her the diagnostic fee that we charged. I explained that we would re-diagnose the concern and if in fact she needed an engine and not OEM ignition parts, I would be glad to reimburse her the fee. I explained thatI would re-diagnose the concern at no cost to her. She became very belligerent  and refused to allow us to look at her vehicle. The fee was already discounted by half of what we would normally charge for the same PPT and since she would not allow us to re-diagnose the concern, I refused to reimburse her thediagostic fee.

I was unfortunately duped in to one of the worst deals I have heard of..and all because I was told one thing during discussion and then shown another when papers came in to play. As other yelpers have commented / messaged to agree with me, these salesmen do a wonderful job of pressuring buyers into fast signatures. Not the mention the entire time they are all openly staring at my figure and telling me how beautiful I am...making me that much more antsy to get the hell out of that place.

I was told I owed approximately $11k on my trade in. When papers came around I only owed $8k. I had already agreed to a $10k cash down payment. Rather than advising me to pay off the lesser amount, thus upping my trade in value, they offered me $6k for the trade in and hastily accepted my $10k (to which I was also not informed that there would be additional tax paper work I would receive in the mail for making such a large down payment) and was given a lovely attitude when I began to reconsider handing it over. Your salesman quickly took the stack away from me and made it clear that that portion of the deal was already final.

I was told that because I was paying such a large down payment, they would throw in a 50k miles extended warranty to which I got them to agree to 100k miles. Turned out by "throw in" they meant I can purchase and when I pointed out (even called the manager over to ask) that I was told this was supposed to be included in the initial purchase, your manager laughed and said "nothing is free here"...nice guy.

Now, the car is worth about as much as I have left to pay off..Just under $18k. Let's not mention the maintenance I had to have done mere months after purchase. How convenient that it was all considered 'normal wear' by your dealership. I had the car serviced elsewhere.

In short, these salesman are fast talking snakes. Particularly Joe (manager), Asher (salesman), and Gary (or Greg? in finance). I am planning to have this car voluntarily repossessed as I cannot sell it considering it was purchased at high miles and now, 8 months later, it's worth less than what it should have been sold for then. Silly me for giving in to the pressures of a salesman. I have advised all friends, family, and associates to avoid this dealership.

Elizabeth B.

PS they will tell you they are sister stores to Berge Ford in Mesa (wonderful dealership by the way)....THIS IS FALSE and they are piggy backing on Berge's great reputation.

12/14/15It is never our intention at Bell Ford to be rude or
unprofessional. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience the [redacted] were put
through.  We would like to request clarification on Ms. [redacted] request for the mentioned refund. If they would submit the recipes and estimate
for the gas and key per the request we will take it under consideration. Sincerely, Kathy I[redacted] Bell Ford  [redacted]

In response to Mr. [redacted] concerns: At Bell Ford it is never our intention to inconvenience a customer or for them to be without their vehicle for any length of time that is not necessary. We sincerely regret the uncontrollable delays in completing the repairs on Mr. [redacted]’s Mustang....

 1. Mr. [redacted]’s insurance company (State Farm) was directly involved in the claim at all times and in fact was auditing the claim during the entire repair process. 2. The back order part in question was on a national back order from Ford Motor Company and once located it was overnighted to expedite the repair process.3. The repairs to Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle were completed one day earlier than the initial estimated completion day of 02/18/2016 that he was advised of when the vehicle was dropped off for repairs.  On 2/17/16 Mr. [redacted] took delivery of his vehicle at Bell Ford and stated he was satisfied with the repairs and happy to have his car back. Sincerely,Lee S[redacted]General Manager Bell Ford

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Well as to what has been going on Bell Ford has made little effort to fix this issue, here is what they have done: They gave me a number to call Ford Customer Care and then said call [redacted]. I already did that prior to filing this complaint and Ford and [redacted] both said it was the dealers issue. Bell Ford has not told me to take the truck to a dealer to have them look at tires.
As far as the Warranty goes, [redacted] said she could give me a pro-rated amount. But then also said that this would not fix the issue. I've been dealing with this issue since I had the Truck. I do not believe its fair to take a pro-rated amount since Bell Ford has been brushing me off for the last 3 years. I will tell you that [redacted] from Bell Ford is the first person to contact me back from there, and I was hopeful.
But now I read what was written on here and it makes me look like a bad guy and . [redacted] doesn't want to really deal with us and I'm not sure what Bell Ford is to do. Good thing I've kept all the emails to prove the truth.
Like I said in the from the start I want Bell Ford to Get some dealer to look at the tires here in [redacted]. Which I already have, and said they were bad. I would like Bell Ford to either replace my tires or refund
me the full amount of the warranty. I was sold this warranty and told it would cover a 100% of anything to go wrong with the tires, apparently  that was a lie. I wish Bell Ford would admit their mistake and move on.
Regards,
[redacted]

My Finance Director is working directly with [redacted] to get him some answers.  We believe this is a Manufacturer defect, and are working with Ford to try to expedite a response from the Tire Manufacturer.
We have also offered to cancel the Tire and Wheel Ext Warranty that he had...

purchased.  Not sure he wants to do that yet, but we made the offer.  [redacted] our Finance Director and [redacted] our Service Director are diligently working to get [redacted] some answers.
If you need any further information, please contact me.
Thank you,
