I wrote about my experience with Bell Ford Service Dept regarding my [redacted] and the totally dishonest and unprofessional so called service. They also lied about it being resolved. Yes I disputed it and was credited...BUT a month later they rebilled my credit card and successively got their money!!
THEY ARE THE MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE I HAVE HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH.
I bought my truck there and had service performed first couple years. Definitely not from the thief recently! NEVER AGAIN!! They lie about everything.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They should be going out of their way to resolve this. The Bell Ford dealership is the one who lied about the vehicle being smoked in. Both the Used Car Manager, [redacted] and his Sales Person [redacted]. They knew my situation from the beginning. [redacted] told me those were my only options. I don't feel I should have to come up with more money out of my pocket. I have a back-up camera now in my vehicle and want one in the next vehicle. I have had two neck surgeries which prevents me from turning all the way around with ease, the camera makes it easier for me to see behind me.
Regards,

I spoke to [redacted] about her experience and what her options are moving forward. We have already tried to satisfy her numerous requests from Back up camera issues, vehicle sensor issues (which we installed for her a no additional charge, and had her vehicle "detailed" many times to rid the...
vehicle of any odors she may be smelling. I provided her some vehicle options that may work for her (pre owned and new), but would require a little bit of additional monies on her part, which she is unable to do. I told her I would keep my eye out for something that may work for her moving forward and will call her when I hve additional options for her to consider. She said that was fine, and took my information down in the event her situation changed and was able to participate with some money down, etc she will also contact me so we could work something out. Please contact me with any further questions...thank you[redacted]bell ford

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I imagine if he's going to lie to me, he'll lie to you too. For one, I was angry but I remained calm; did not get belligerent! I told them I already gave them my truck for 24 hrs to give a correct diagnosis! I told him my trucks symptoms and what other mechanics told me, such as [redacted] saying "low compression in #6 cylinder" misfire, which [redacted] has a TSB for this problem because it is popular with Fords! TSB 05-26-3! I also told him what work had been done already! The correct diagnosis by [redacted] was the exhaust valve!I'm sending documents for proof!1 [redacted] AUTO finding low compression (I told [redacted])2 TSB showing Issue, Action AND SERVICE PROCEDURE!!3-4 Corrected issue by [redacted]Sorry pictures are backwards!! You should be able to tell which is which. If not please let me know!Thank you for your time on this! Bell [redacted] did me wrong! Now owe [redacted] for something not necessary! I've been unemployed a year and barely paying my bills! I should have been able to trust FORD!
Sincerely,[redacted]
[redacted] had disputed her charge with the Credit Card Company and has got her money back from them...We dont feel we owe her anything further since our account has been debited for this. Please close this case as we have nothing further to add.~sincerely,[redacted]Bell [redacted] Service Manager
This dealership is dishonest.. Will change the interest rate promised after 1 month. Then come back and repo the car even though you owe nothing. Worst experience of my life ...do NOT believe what ever they tell you, they are super dishonest
I took my 2008 Ford SportTrac for service as I thought my transmission was failing. The Assistant Service Mgr checked me in and was very thorough and efficient. The issue was a leaky valve which was identified and repaired very quickly and for much less money than I was expecting.
All in all a good experience and I will tell my friends about bell Ford.
1.21.16Case #: [redacted] Nature of Complaint: Billing or Collection Complaint
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Our Service Manager at Bell Ford had not received the message to call and discuss this issue. It is always our...
intention to provide the best service possible and however at times we due fail.I have called Mr. [redacted] and left a message to let him know we are truly sorry, appreciate him as a Bell Ford Customer and that we have requested a check for the amount of $125.00. The check will mailed to address as shown on the complaint. Sincerely, Kathy I[redacted]Customer Relations ManagerBell Ford[redacted][email protected]
Below is the response we have given to the complainant....
We have reviewed all of the pictures and all the information you provided us with our [redacted] representative. Based on our records and the information provided to him there is not a warrantable claim here.
Our recommendation is to take the discount they provided for you if you want your tires replaced. Bell Ford has no responsibility for the tires; we do have the tire warranty you purchased that if you do not see the benefit of it that I had sent to you. You have the option to cancel for a prorated refund. You did have the benefit of the coverage for the last 3 years and 38,000 miles of coverage. Let me know if you would like to cancel and I can assist you with that.
Regards,
In
response to the letter provided by Lee S[redacted] at Bell Ford it is irrelevant
where I bought the truck. Bell Ford does
warranty work on any Ford product anywhere in the USA according to Ford
Corporation.It is also irrelevant where
I bought my accessories.Lee
states that I traded in the F-150 on a new Dodge without asking for
their advice or allowing them to help with the value of the Ford F-150. I would not ask for advice from Bell Ford
when they clearly lied to me and reinstalled broken parts when putting it back
together the first time.When
I went to pick up my truck initially I inspected it and found that they had not
properly fixed my truck in the first place. When the
service manager, Mike Schmickle saw the issues he apologized and said this
should have never happened. I kept the
truck while they ordered the parts that they broke. (Lee S[redacted] is mixed up about the sequence
of events during the process of his service department servicing my truck). While driving the truck I had more technical
issues behind the dash that cannot be seen.
And what else might happen after the warranty is up. Just to have peace of mind I decided to trade
it in. And I would not be
out any money for accessories.I
am also out $3700 which I lost in the trade in which again I would not be out
if Bell Ford would have been honest. By
the way I called Ford Corporation and they informed
me that it is Bell Ford’s responsibility and that they should reimburse me for
everything.If
you notice in Lee S[redacted]’s response letter to the Revdex.com he says nothing about
the lying and the broken parts.Lee
and Mike both apologized and Lee offered me $1,000 as if he
should get a discount for lying and reinstalling broken parts on my brand new
truck. I respect Lee and Mike for saying
that lying will not be tolerated and that it is unacceptable.
I am
requesting that the amount of $2,063.86 be reimbursed for resolution. [redacted]

I feel there is a need to take responsibility for the length of time my car was in the shop

To whom it may concern: In response to Mr. [redacted] We here at Bell Ford would like to have this issue resolved due to the following facts 1. Mr. [redacted]’s insurance company (State Farm) was directly involved in the claim at all times and in fact was auditing the claim during the entire repair process. 2. The back order part in question was on a national back order from Ford Motor Company and once located it was overnighted to expedite the repair process.3. The repairs to Mr. [redacted]’s vehicle were completed one day earlier than the initial estimated completion day of 02/18/2016 that he was advised of when the vehicle was dropped off for repairs. In closing we fully understand and empathize with Mr. [redacted]’s frustration over the loss of use of his 2016 Mustang. Unfortunately do to circumstance out of Bell Ford’s Control we were unable to meet Mr. [redacted]’s unrealistic requests that were made after he had already agreed to the initial estimated competition date when the vehicle was originally dropped off for repairs. Please see attach E-mail correspondents. Please remove this from our file and statistics based on the fact that his repairs were completed 1 day earlier than his original due date that agreed to which 2/18/16 was. Respectfully, Kenneth M[redacted]

Usually a rental has a full tank. I drove the car 2 days filling and getting a replacement that had a/c vents that worked. I do notwant to take my truck back to get key fixed, I would rather go to [redacted] for the replacementThank You

Of course the issue is not resolved in Mr. [redacted]’s mind. He wants what he has demanded and tried to extort and nothing less. There are several inaccuracies in Mr. [redacted]’s latest demand note, but it is of no avail to go through them at this point. I made Mr. [redacted] a fair offer and he refused. He has since that time been picketing our store in an attempt to disrupt our business. Our offer is no longer on the table and we will not negotiate with Mr. [redacted] any further. This issue has become unresolvable because of Mr. [redacted]’s actions and we regret that sincerely. Thank you for this opportunity, Lee S[redacted]GMBell Ford
In response to Mr. [redacted] concerns: At Bell Ford it is never our intention to inconvenience a customer or for them to be without their vehicle for any length of time that is not necessary. We sincerely regret the uncontrollable delays in completing the repairs on Mr. [redacted]’s Mustang....
