Awful experience They always give you the run around I am now calling for the 4th time because my issue is not resolved and the wait times are very long to speak to a human I got denial letters in the mail for no reason I spoke to my health insurance company and they have agreed that I paid X amount on a certain date Benefit Strategies now wants me to pay back claims that they have denied that I have already paid, and they are missing information I have emailed the necessary information to their email address, and then nothing happens I get an automated message that they will get back to me within business days, and it's been I wish they would treat their customers better

I have paid them for my COBRA and they have not been able to reinstate my insurance with the carriers for this monthIt is the 20th of the month! I never received COBRA information from themI had to contact them myselfI made the payment on the 11th of the month after being denied coverageThey told me they would escalate the process with the carriersIt is now the 20th of the month and I still have no Dental insurance and they tell me it could be 5-more daysThat is effectively the end of the month without coverageThey say I can file retroactivelyIf I had the money to go to the dentist without coverage that would be great but I don't that is why I paid for insurance!!! I asked to have a refund of the money paid for the Dental coverage and they said they could not do that and "don't know why my insurance wasn't reinstated." They are looking into it and will get back to meThis is the second day in a row I have been promised a return call with none receivedI either want

I have a flexible spending account with roughly $ balanceWas not allowed to charge $ worth of approved products before deadline March 14, charged roughly $ at Costco, flexible spending account card not approved for products that were on the approved expenses listCalled company numerous times I was told the amount that was supposedly to be refunded to the account would take up to weeksThis does me no good as the next day was the final day to use the card for purchases without losing the balance

I never got welcome letter or access to set up payments Last week I received a letter from benefit Strategies stating They had not received my paymentI gave them a call and they said I should have received a welcome letter, I explained I did not get it, Representative provide access code for online registration but when I try accessing it system did not recognize my social security number I then called back and they provided an email I advised in that email I did not get welcome letter and I need to set up payments I was provided a phone number to call and when I called they directed me to the original number I called and they said again coverage is canceled and they will not accept payment and as of now I have no coverage

The company administers my commuter benefits planI submitted a claim that was denied for obviously wrong reason, the CS not responding On 01/20/I submitted a commuter benefits plan claim for reimbursement of a transit passClaim denied on 01/21/with the following explanation: "claim was submitted after the final filing date set for this plan"Plan filing dates are 11/2017-10/2018, claim submitted in 1/I contacted the company on 01/25/and requested clarifications as to how January can be "after" November The CSR agreed it's not looking right and promised to respond in 3-business daysOn 01/30/the company responded with the following via email "claim denied because manual claims are not allowed per the IRS" There are two problems with this response, 1) Nothing in the Internal Revenue Code (CFR) addresses "manual claims", 2) Their website and/or app does not have a way to submit transit claims automatically (they do however offer a way to

This is the worst FSA plan admin I have ever had to deal with in my career They are constantly over the 3-business days to approve claims and even longer to pay them Also, I have had several instances where I submit a receipt for repeat visits Claim was approved and paid multiple times Then all of a sudden they say "The receipt isn't good enough." So I asked why they accepted the other receipts and they couldn't answer Another instance, they again wouldn't accept a receipt they had been accepting for a few months So they asked for an EOB So I sent the EOB from my health insurance They wouldn't accept that because they didn't know what "MD Management" meant Really? It obviously is a legit claim if my insurance paid it So I have to wait 1-weeks for the office to send me a receipt they will accept And then they take over business days to approve it Just absolutely ridiculous company Take your business elsewhere

This is the company handling cobra coverage for health insurance I paid the premium on time and after multiple phone calls that have failed to reinstate my pharmacy coverage I have requested a supervisor phone call and they have not returned my calls I have never been told why my coverage has not been reinstated other than "We have sent the information" ProAct is the pharmacy benefits company and they deny having the reinstatement information Today is day of failed coverage reinstatement

I was billed (and money withdrawn from my bank account)for a dental insurance premium days after I had cancelled the policyI e-mailed and phoned
May 6, - I requested that Benefit Strategies, LLC, the agent who administered my Delta Dental insurance, terminate my dental coverage and turn off the bank access "auto debit" feature on my account
May 9, - I again emailed Benefit Strategies with a second request and that they acknowledge that they received my requestThey did reply and indicate that my initial request was "being processed" and that requests for a change takes "to days to process"
May 16, - The premium amount was removed from my Bank account for this insurance that I cancelled days earlierI have phoned Benefit Strategies twice during this process, and was assured that my concern will be marked as "urgent" and I would hear back from them by the end of the day yesterdayStill nothing
May 20, - I cancelled my insurance two weeks

I feel I am being threatened and shaken down for funds I do not owe
From the beginning of my involvement with Benefit Strategies the debit card seldom worked and I was forced to make some medical co-payments and prescriptions out of pocketThe card finally stopped working altogetherWhen I finally contacted BS, LLC by phone I was told they errored by neglecting to load my card and that they would fix the problemI was then able to use the card effectivelyNow they are attempting to shake me down by demanding I pay them over $I have received two notices of demandMy credit rating is at risk and I may have to pay an attorney to fight this injusticeBS, LLC makes it very difficult to be reimbursed when their card doesn't work and I imagine most people just give up on it

Filed a claim to my FSA on 12/31/and uploaded receiptsStill have not received payment days later despite their claim of 3-business days
Claim for dependent care submitted on 12/31/along with supporting receiptsContinuous calls to automated voice mail indicated payment was pending and would be paidThese payment dates transpired and never received paymentCall placed on 1/17/and discussion with customer service rep acknowledged that claim was submitted and she had "no idea" why it wasn't paid out as it should of already been processed and paid by now days laterAccording to the customer service rep this was going to be ticketed and flagged so this could be paid but it may be until 1/until I receive paymentUnacceptable given that you are told that "All completed claims received will be scheduled for payment or denied within 3-business daysPlease allow at least business days following the schedule of payment for receipt of payment"No accountabilit

I just signed up for COBRA after leaving a job 9/21, just dental and vision insuranceI finally received information in the mail about the second week in October, I then spoke with a representative and sent the information back with a check for the amount of the vision+dental monthly premiumThe representative on the phone said it would take about two weeks for them to enter in the information and send it to the insurance company to reinstate my insuranceHowever, I was never told that I had to include an additional payment of the prorated amount for the remainder of the month of September (an amount that was not included in the paperwork I received)The representative, although very nice, also did not explain this to me, the paperwork can be confusing in regards to amount owedFinally, I was told I would be able to log on to the online portal to set up recurring payments but only after my information was in the system with Benefit Strategies and the insurance provider and currentI spoke with my insurance provider today who said I was completely coveredThen I created an account online, after some issues logging in I got to view my account which said my elections for coverage (dental and vision) were terminated, and that I owed a balance of $15.59- because from the check I sent in to cover the monthly premiums they deducted the prorated amount for the last week in September (which I was never given and amount or information about) and applied the rest for the month of October, leaving me with a balance for October-due on October 1st before I even received the paperworkA notification about all of this in the mail or by phone would have been a better way of doing thisOr if the original representative I spoke with told me about all of this I could have avoided a lot of troubleThis seems like a poor system, I also looked at a document they uploaded onto my online portal which shows a list of "Projected Plan Premiums" that starts with the date 10/01/and the total amount due-which is the exact amount I sent via check in the mail to sign upI hope this shows how confusing this can be to someone who is doing this all for the first time, and a better, clearer explanation from the representative I spoke with could have helped me avoid all of thisToday I called Benefit Strategies and spoke with another representative about the termination of my coverage and he informed me that I now have send an email to appeal to reinstate my coverage, and the decision is made after 7-days (so I have no idea whether or not they will reinstate my coverage or what the decision process entails)I don't understand why it will take this long and it's a little frustrating that the person whom I spoke with over the phone was unable to actually help meI have now also paid for a month of coverage that I am still unable to use

I sent in my request July Their website says 3-business daysAs of September 2nd I still have not received what I paid for
On July 15, I sent in my form to have Benefit Strategies take money directly out of my paycheck and have the money placed onto a credit card so the money can be pre-taxOn August 12th they took dollars out of my paycheckAs of the writing of this message on 9/2/16, weeks after my original request, I have still not received the card in the mailI contact them on 8/24, a 8/to try and speed up the process where they told me that it was in process and that I should get it in timeI plan on completing a refund form to get the money back, but not being able to provide your service after three times the expected time frame is unacceptable, unprofessional, and unfairI will be contacting our HR department to let them know all of the issues that myself and several other employees have had with Benefit Strategies and how they should seek another c
