Geico claim 0512923760101029 has not been paid. Company accepts that they owe. They refuse to pay. The latest - "we sent check Nov 4." Today is 19th and no check. Geico is lying. They cannot show a mail receipt for Nov 4, I doubt it was ever mailed. Mail does not take two weeks, 10 business days, to be delivered to a residence. Prior to this they delayed by not processing claim, forcing me to pay for repairs and then going on days off until they felt like it. That was another two weeks. At this point they should hand deliver or fed ex check to me. There is no accountability, just a hired liar at "customer service."
Bershire has an ethics policy they clearly regard as words not actual policy: "3. Fair Dealing. Covered Parties shall behave honestly and ethically at all times and with all people. They shall act in good faith, with due care, and shall engage only in fair and open competition, by treating ethically competitors, suppliers, customers, and colleagues... No Covered Party should take unfair advantage of anyone through manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts, or any other unfair practice..."
They are not dealing ethically - they know they have messed up, the continue messing up and I am to be the one paying the price of their so far endless delay. They misrepresent and conceal material facts - they cannot and will not show time stamp from USPS at both ends that says indeed this a USPS issue (and being deliver by slow donkey.) They offer up their internal memos - pointless lies. They have taken unfair advantage of this customer from the start - this should have been complete in Oct - this is playing the float and deliberate or at minimum careless delay. I want a check by Fed Ex or hand deliver within 3 biz days (by EOB Nov 23)
