This dishwasher was improperly installed with cabinets too narrow and the kitchen floor was not continued under the dishwasher. We attempted to remove  the dishwasher, but  because it was installed improperly to begin with, ahs has a policy that the homeowner must remove any appliance that...

was not installed correctly. We explained that to  homeowner. Dishwasher was removed by homeowner, we installed the new part and explained that homeowner would need to have his handyman reinstall...he said that we should install, homeowner called our office, and we explained that we will not reinstall the dishwasher because  the floor doesn't continue under  the dishwasher...the dishwasher was NOT REINSTALLED, but simply put back in the cabinet, that it why the door does not close. Beyer is willing to entertain a monetary settlement with homeowner,  as long as all derogatory remarks are removed from ALL THE SITES that homeowner has reviewed us on. This situation can be resolved, but we are unwilling to do any more business with homeowner.

I would like to apologize that we failed to provide you with the service you deserve. In order to proceed further, I will need a service address, and date that our company was at your home.

please see the attached photos of this cook top. I have worked on units much older than this that may have required a switch, or a burner element. However, this stove was used without the radiant drip bowls in place, which caused the heat to transfer down into the cook top instead of up on the pan, this caused the wires to be burnt and eventually break. In addition excessive grease and food build up in the bottom of the cook top shows a lack of proper maintenance. This cook top to be repaired properly would have to be removed from the counter top, brought to the shop, completely disassembled and cleaned. Then all wires would have to be replaced. This is NOT NORMAL,  even for a cook top of this age. Regards,Beyer Appliance

I understand your position and your contract with the home warranty. However the first technician you sent did not indicate I had not taken care of my appliance. The indication to me was he would comtact the home warranty to see if he could get the parts or if they wanted to replace it. Since my cooktop was 58 years old and still in use, the statement you stand behind that It was not properly maintained is not factual. I continue to believe when you contacted the home warranty you then sent a technician to my home to intentionally deny my claim. I believe my opinion is supported on the fact when I called you regarding the disrepectfull actions  to me and my cooktop by this individual, while they were still on my premises, I did not receive a call back. I was advised at the time of that call that my concerns would be elevated and addressed. I do not accept that your assessment was fair and I do not accept your explanation.

Review: I have a warranty with [redacted]. They assigned Beyer Appliance to fix it. The company determined that the dishwasher pump was not working so they ordered the part. Once the part was in, Beyer tried to install the part but couldn't get dishwasher out. They said I had to get a handyman to come out. I did that and they came back to install the part. The tech said everything was great and no issues and let. Once I let the tech out, I loaded the dishwasher with dishes and tried to run it. I couldn't even close the door to the dishwasher to run a cycle. The tech didn't install the dishwasher correctly and I can't even close the door. They also damaged my cabinet and scratched up my cabinets. I called Beyer and they said it is not their fault and that I had to hire a handyman to install it. The dishwasher door always opened and closed properly. The tech didn't put back the dishwasher correctly and the doors don't align for me to run a cycle.Desired Settlement: fix the door to run a dishwasher cycle and fix the cabinet.

Review: Improper diagnosis of problem. Tech was told the ice maker was leaking. Tech repaired the supply line, which did not relate to the ice maker leaking. Had to call this business again to have them come out again. They wanted additional money to fix the problem, which was the original problem he was told about. The ice maker is still leaking. I was not going to pay this business any more money. This should have been fixed right the first time.

In addition, this business over charged me for the repairs that they did. Original call was on a home warranty repair. Discovered that the home warranty did not cover the work done, so that meant I would pay for the services performed. Tech billed me for those services and took the the copayment from the home warranty. He was not entitled to that copayment from the home warrenty. I have requested a refund, and have not seen the refund yet.Desired Settlement: This should be fixed free of charge.

Mrs [redacted]

Thank you for taking the time to inform me of your experience. Please be assured that we take your concerns seriuosly. The 75.00 you requested refunded has been done. It may take a while for this to show up on your cc statement. I believe that you are correct that no more money should have been requested of you. The icemaker should have been installed at no additional charge. Please accept my apology. We can either return to your home and install the additional parts at no extra charge, or we will credit the balance of what was billed to you. Your choice. Again please accept my sincere apologies as I think this was not handled correctly. I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint I[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action (repair the refrigerator free of charge) and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

What an awful experience with this company. Had a service call (through my home warranty) for my dishwasher. One the first trip the technician decided the problem was a hose needed to be replaced. So he left and returned (and left us with a mess that he made) and when he returned a few days later it turned out the part he had to order wasn't even necessary. He then "fixed" the problem only for me to find out later that day the problem was not corrected at all. A manager called me the following day and was rude, unapologetic and could not get another more capable technician to our home to fix the issue within the time we requested. Bottom line is the workmanship was poor and the customer service was even worse! STAY AWAY

I have [redacted] ins. and they gave me Beyer Appliance to pick up my washer for service as it was spinning very very loud! Three days later they picked it up and I had to call twice to see how it was doing and after three calls I finally got it back after (12 days) with no washer! My husband cleaned off the outside which was all black tape mark but the inside was all black from them washing dirty rags in it evidently ! I sent it away spotless and Had to clean the black all out before I could use it! Very unsatisfied with this company and would never let [redacted] send them again! The service man who came to check it out the first time was excellent and the delivery person was nice! But cannot say any thing good about the company service!

I have a problem with my dishwasher. There's a thin black layer of dirt constantly after we run it. I have clean it off, and it will come right back. So I called my home warranty company[redacted].
They sent Beyer Appliance to my house to diagnose the issue. They took the dishwasher for a whole week saying it needed to be acid washed. I never heard from them again, so I called after a week, and asked what was happening with it. They said theygave it 2 acid washes, and it was ready to come home. When they brought it back, I was excited to have a working, clean dishwasher back. Unfortunately, that was not what I got.
It was just as dirty as it was when they took it. I have called to complain, and no one responded. I sent an email to management, and still no one has responded. If they can't help me, then they need to at least respond and tell me that it's not repairable. I don't understand how a business can operate like this.
