No, I have not heard from AP Electric and GeneratorsI do not expect to hear from the companyAlthough it brags on its website that it is the largest generator wholesaler and retailer in the world, it cares nothing about customer relations or common honestyI appreciate your efforts, and I wanted to warn other consumers that this company should ge avoided

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I read the response from AP Electric, and for the most part feel their response is accurate in their opinion After speaking with them, I went on the website, and by searching in certain orders, the options they state are accurate My problem is that if you search for the 20Kw Kohler directly, as I did, it took me directly to an individual page with no reference to "additional purchases needed" I looked closely for a banner, an asterisk or anything leading me to another page I even asked my wife to come look, and see if I was overlooking anything As the screenshots of my initial order clearly show, it simply said $rebate I did call AP Electric to verify,with no answerOn their behalf, it was memorial day I went ahead and ordered, because the offer was going to end soon, and I would not have computer access, as I was leaving town I feel that AP Electric is probably a good company, I just feel that the website had a mistake in the particular way that it directed my search, and they are not willing to admit, or stand behind that mistake All that is needed is to view the pictures I sent, and you will clearly see no banners, or directions for additional purchases needed on any picture, from initial inquiry to checkout Regards, [redacted]

Update with my AP Electric Generator orderStiil no info exactly one month later 10/4/- 11/3/16.After receiving no self initiated follow up from AP Electric, Bob and especially Dominique, and have been blown off and ignored as far as my follow up inquiries have been., I have
cancelled my order for the EcoGen 7034. You website shows that the Generac EcoGen was IN STOCK and AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENTI made the order, paid in full on SEP My last communication with Dom yesterday, he stated "he does not know where (my) generator isEvertime I called or email, DOM said that he would get back with me with relevant informationHe has not, Bob did not, *** did not, *** did not.I I one day shy of exactly one month since I place and PAID for my orderAnd no one knows where this beast is. Mr*** *** ordered a oil cap for his generator over the web on order number . Mr*** never talked to any of our personnel to confirm the oil cap was the proper part for his generator. We checked our e-mail logs and have not received any e-mails from Mr***.
Generac has 72,plus parts - an individual cannot look at a picture and determine if the part is the correct part for a generator by the picture. You either need the part number from your manufacturer manual or model/serial number for us to determine the exact part by looking it up in Generac's parts system. AP Electric will take the part back if Mr*** looks at our terms and conditions. I wonder why an individual would not call us - pretty simple. We tried to call Mr***'s and have a left message at his work phone number to call us back. I am the owner of AP Electric and personally called and left a message for Mr*** with my work and mobile phone number at 2:PM Central time December 12,

The message I had left him was that it wasn't worththe expense to send it back and all of this would never ever happen if they had responded to the several emails I had sent them regarding the problem. We lock down our website outside the US and Canada for credit card purchasing. This portable generator was purchased on-line from Texas without any interaction with our personnone every asked about a generator being warrantied in a nstate or Canada - specifically in Puerto Rico. Many people order and ship generators outside the US (states) or Canada to other territories or countries - we don't stop them (other than restricted countries for export). Many people still buy generators and ship them internationally knowing they are not warrantied in these cases No manufacturer is going to warranty a generator in every territory - country in the world. A manufacturer not having a warranty outside the US or Canada is something that we cannot control - we cannot dictate what a manufacturer supports nor do we police this. This is up to the manufacturer and the consumer. If a consume calls us and asks for details, we will provide details on specifications, warranty and other items needed to make an informed decisionThis did not happened in this case.Westinghouse even states they provide a 3-Year Limited Warranty with their products including this model - "their Nationwide Customer Service and Support" - Westinghouse never stated that they provide an international warranty. We have asked Westinghouse in this case to take care of the situation for the consumer and are working through some type of resolution for this customer

The correct generator (iGEN2500) was ordered by AP Electric (AP out of stock) from WestPro (Westinghouse-manufacturer) on May 15th (PO attached) for the iGENfor Mr***'s order. WestPro shipped the incorrect item to Mr*** (this was still AP's issue to fix the
situation). Mr*** kept the (WH2000iXLT) do to circumstance and timing. AP was not aware the incorrect item was shipped to the customer - WestPro's system (NetSuite) reflected an iGENbeing shipped so AP could not correct until we heard from Mr***. Timing did not allow for this correction seeing that Mr*** need an inverter and did not have time to wait a replacement inverter (correct item) to be shipped.AP does customer service training regularly and manufacturing training (certification training which is expensive and time consuming) and processes over 10,orders a year. The employee that handled this transaction no longer works for AP Electric. We apologize to Mr*** and a has been sent to Mr*** from AP Electric's CEO

After shipping over generators to Puerto Rico right after a hurricane, we helped a lot of people when most companies in our space would not do this. R&L Carriers (LTL) got the generator to Puerto but could not initially deliver the generator to a residential home because of the
amount of freight that came into the country in such a short period of time (limitation on local transport too). We had a verbal commitment from R&L that they could deliver locally but when a hurricane occurs even over $1B company has limitations on carrier delivery. We refunded $for the shipping fee to the customer and R&L worked with the customer to ultimately deliver the generator. We would have taken the generator back to the US of requested but that was not the decision of the customer

There were banners and people saw them and followed directions. Kohler and AP Electric are not backing down on this!

AP Electric stocks over $5,500,in inventory and many times we have or items in stock when the item(s) are not sold often. We calculate inventory turns every days and the Cummins RSS200-transfer switch does not sell that often in days. Cummins has a very,
very small market share in the air cooled generator market. We carry this transfer switch but when multiple orders come in on the same day, it takes time for the manufacturer to send new inventory. In this case for Cummins, we escalated to get this inventory to shipped directly to the customer. Cummins corporate office in Minnesota honestly did AP Electric no favors or the customer in handling this situation. Disappointing since we do a decent amount of business with Cummins overall. Cummins just came out with a new line of new air cooled generators and supporting new model transfer switches. They were depleting supplies of old inventory-this transfer switch being one of the items Cummins were no longer manufacturing. AP Electric failed in this instandid not find the transfer switch for the customer and for that we apologize. We are refunding the customer 100% of their original purchase price of $708.99. Once the customer returns the transfer switch to AP Electric at our expense in unopened condition, we will credit the $708.99. AP Electric will pay the shipping back to our facility. We do not guarantee delivery dates and times of merchandise arriving. All transit times are approximate based on the information the carrier provides. We never tell our customers to send an email or call back. We call them back once we have status information. This is a process we do daily.  The customer received an email with tracking information the following day stating the item had shipped. When the customer received this email notification he then called to cancel. It was too late. The generator had already left the manufacturer. Had he called us and asked to cancel before it shipped, we would have happily done so. Below is the cancelation terms that the customer/all customers agreed to when placing his order. All canceled orders that have shipped and left our facility are considered a return and the terms of our return policy apply. Below is our Return Policy ·  Returns are happily accepted if the following conditions apply:A request for an RMA is made within 30 days of receipt of merchandiseMerchandise is returned within 15 days of receipt of RMAMerchandise must be unused/uninstalled and have all original packaging, accessories and instruction manuals as well as RMA #.·  Returned merchandise incurs a 20% restocking fee minus the actual shipping costs.·  Refunds are given in the form of the original payment.·  Allow 2 weeks for refunds to be processed.·  Returns are not accepted for electronics and merchandise that is labeled as is and special order/non-stocked items All of the items above are taken straight from our website terms and conditions.
