Review: I live in an apartment complex that requires a parking permit. I had a parking permit on my window but it ended up falling off, onto the ground in my car. The tow company randomly drove by and towed my car without anybody calling to complain and they also did not get an authorization from any property manager or anybody to authorize the tow. I called the company, they said they did a random check and saw that the car didn't have a sticker on the window so they towed it. Once I arrived at the tow yard I showed the gentleman the parking permit that accidentally fell off the window and he said he sees it, he understands but his boss said because it wasn't on the window at the time of tow, I am required to pay their fees if I want my car back. They only accepted cash so I told him I would be right back after going to an ATM machine and when I called to ask how much I needed to get the price went from 300-450 in a matter of 20 minutes because they charge an hourly rate. I called to tell the company I was coming back to get the car and he said nobody was there so I have to come back in 7 hours and meet him there at 6 and there will be an additional charge of 95 dollars because they have a gate fee since someone had to go back to the yard to open the gate for me. Now they are charging me more money because the car is there until 7, but I was ready, at the facility at 12 to pick up my car.Desired Settlement: I would like the tow company to refund the money I was required to pay in order to get my car out of the tow yard because I had a permit and my car wasn't parked illegally and I had up to date tags and absolutely nothing wrong with the car. Also this company is towing illegally because a tow truck is not able to enforce parking regulations and that's exactly what they did and they also didn't get anybody to authorize the tow so that was illegal too.

This vehicle had a permit , But it was not properly displayed. Every permit parking violation tow has the same policy available to the owner. They are informed when they call to pick up their car. “If you can show us your permit from outside of car without opening your door we will release it for free” This owner could not do this and went in the car and found it on the floor , clearly not visible.
