*** ***,In regards to your feedback on the seller *** ***, we agree and have already blocked that seller from Bid4Assets. We take misrepresentation of assets very seriously. With regards to your account status, we are unable to reinstate your account, due to numerous violations of our terms of service, including registering multiple accounts. We are aware of at least 10+ accounts that you have registered (despite the fact this is prohibited in our terms) and we are formally requesting that you do not register any more account on our platform.RegardsBid4Assets’ Client Services

The Santa Clara tax sale closed on January 12. Bid4Assets’ policy states that refunds will
be mailed out within business days, which would be January (MLK day is a
federal holiday). All of the refunds,
including your refund, were mailed out on January 22, days before the deadline
(the date had no relation to your complaint).
Auditing a government tax sale to make sure the correct amount of funds
are disbursed to all parties and agencies is a complex process and we
appreciate your patienceIf you have not received your refund by Thursday, please call our

Hello ***,I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience on Bid4Assets.Please remember that per Bid4Assets' terms of service (which you agreed to abide by when you registered and placed your bid) that a bid is an irrevokable offer to purchase an asset and cannot be canceled or removed.
It is important to research the asset you are bidding on BEFORE you place the bid. By doing your research after you placed your bid, you violated Bid4Assets' terms and did not complete the transaction, which is where the $fee arose from.We have refunded your $fee. You will see the refund post to your credit card account in about 2-business days.As an online auction site that allows sellers and government agencies to post assets and buyer to bid on them, we have no way of forcing the seller to apologize to you.We hope this solution satisfies all of your needs.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:This business reiterated the complexity of their registration process and validates the issues I had during my experience with themThe business goes on to say"You cannot bid during the registration process, but you can register, receive an activation email, click the activation link, and then bid on an auction"I had multiple windows open on my computer while I was trying to register, familiarize myself with the website, and learn the bidding processAgain, I thought I was registering when I entered my credit card informationHere is the business response that reiterates what I thought I was doing..."Our registration process is free and does not capture a credit card, you only could enter your credit card in the process of placing your bid." They go on to say that I have to enter my password which again makes me believe I was still in the registration processIs it not possible for someone to think they were logging in when they were asked to enter their password for a bid? Aren't you supposed to log in to check the status of a bid on your website? I mistakenly thought I was logging in.This business also validates my communication with the seller and them IMMEDIATELY after the bid was placed in errorThe sellers response proves I told him it was an error, but the website will not allow him to do anything about itIt all falls on the website and this is their response..."It does not appear he said anything about your bid being erroneous, he simply said he is the seller and cannot cancel a bid"I did have a phone conversation with the seller and we both DID agree that the bid was an ERROR and I could deal with the websiteCall the seller and ask him if you do not believe me
I understand that this business needs to protect itself from people placing bids, but I was on their website for less than minutes, made a mistake, and it cost me $for an item that was $I do not have a history with your website and I have been as transparent as I can be about this matterThis isn't an issue where you have a bidder on a $10,itemFrom the point I found their website to the point I found out I had unintentionally placed a bid was all in about minutesI do not like to throw away money, but I can assure you that I would rather have something for $than nothing for $The property that I supposedly bid on is in another state and not even near meWhy would I ever want that? I am not a businessI am an individual who works a regular jobI am not in this to make money or screw anyone over. You proved that your registration and bidding process has multiple steps and is complex and one may not be able to understand the difference between bidding and registering during the complex processesYou also proved that I placed a bid (while I stand by that it was in error) and immediately contacted the seller to request the cancellation of the bid because it was a mistake as well as the website's customer service departmentYou also proved to me that customer service will not help anyone who mistakenly places a bid no matter what the dollar amount isBecause of this matter, I will be reaching out to the U.SMarshall's where I found the link to the website and informing them of what happenedI will also be contacting my senator and the consumer protection agency to resolve this issue.I will not go back to their website and attempt to get screenshots nor will I purchase something from the seller because I am never going to use this website again.

Amon,According to *** ***, your check was cashed earlier this week. Has this situation been resolved?Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

Dear [redacted],

size="3">
We’re sorry
to hear that you’re experiencing difficulties with our auction site.

I’ve
researched the matter with our deposit services team and here is what has
happened as I understand it:

Bid4Assets
mailed your refund check within 10 business days of the auction’s close as per
the auction’s terms.  Your account had an
old mailing address that you had not updated, so the check bounced back to Bid4Assets.  We contacted you to obtain your new address
and mailed the check to your new address, but you claim to have never received
it.

We just
mailed you a check to your current address again (this is our third time
mailing you this refund check), which you should receive early next week.  If you have not received the check by Wednesday,
December 9th, please email [redacted]@bid4assets.com
and we’ll work to make other arrangements for you.

Thanks and
thank you for using Bid4Assets.com.

Hi [redacted],Thank you for your message.  We had been unable to locate your deposit, as you did not follow Bid4Assets' deposit instructions and deposit the funds into our escrow account.  We have located your payment and sent out a refund check today.  You should receive it by...

Monday.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

[redacted],

Thank you for your inquiry.  We
have thoroughly researched this matter.

Your account was originally not identified because:
1)
You were using a different email address than is
on your...

account
2)
You emailed Bid4Assets “On Jan 25th, there was $250
charged to my debit card from your site. I have no account with you and have no
idea what it could be. Please refund that amount.”

We have identified your account and see that you were charged a $250
non-performance fee for winning, but not paying for, auction 691775.  You did, of course, agree at the time you bid
to pay this fee if you won the auction but did not complete the sale.

[redacted]

You say in your desired outcome that you would like “$250 refund OR the
item that I paid for”.  The seller
reported that you did NOT pay for this item, which is what prompted the $250
fee.  You are clearly stating that you
did in fact pay for it.  If you’ll simply
attach proof of payment that you made to the seller to purchase this property,
we will verify and then return your $250 non-performance fee.

Hi [redacted],You have numerous complaints in this message, so...

let's try to tackle these in an organized way:1) Per Bid4Assets terms of service, if a buyer wins an auction and does not complete a sale, their account is placed on hold.  If a buyer did pay for that property, this would prompt them to send us proof of payment.  Your account was not placed on hold in regards to any of the auctions you highlight below.  It was placed on hold because you were reported as not having performed on the sales of [redacted], EVANSVILLE, IN [redacted] and [redacted] CLIFTON FORGE, VA [redacted].  If the seller incorrectly reported you, please forward proof of payment to [email protected] and we will promptly work to get you reinstated2) You make numerous claims with regards to fraud, illegal activity, and bias, though we're still not clear what you're specifically referring to.  You state that "The sellers did not take care of outstanding liens& debts on those properties before transferring ownership as written email promises".  For all of the auctions you list below, the terms of those auction specifically state "Seller will deliver property via quitclaim deed with as-is title, subject to any back taxes, outstanding liens, or back HOA/POA dues. Please research the property and its title BEFORE you bid!"  If you have evidence that the seller chose to waive those terms and promise you clear title on these properties, please send that evidence to [email protected] so that we may investigate.3) Your final request is for us to return your money.  You realize of course, that we don't have, nor have we ever had, your money.  We operate an online auction site, with a similar model as [redacted].  The seller lists the auction and the buyer bids if they are prepared to abide by the terms in the auction.  If you have evidence that the seller misrepresented the properties in the auction or in some way did not abide by the terms in the auction, please email us your evidence so that we may investigate.  If we find that a seller is misrepresenting assets or not following the auction's terms, we would suspend them from the site, but we have no way of forcing an unrelated company to refund you for properties. Please email us your supporting evidence on these claims so that we can review.  It's difficult for us to take any sort of action with these generalized complaints.Regards,Bid4Assets Client [email protected]

Revdex.com:Sorry, I was out of reach over the holiday weekend. I finally received the refund check. Thank you. And I will update the address fields in my profile so this will hopefully never happen again.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Your organization misrepresented the item for sale as a fixed asset. The damages caused are estimated at $8000. A cash settlement is preferred rather than attending your website.  As per telephone conversation last month, Char, your director stated I had 15+ accounts. The prohibition of the seller after the transaction provides little comfort. If the damages caused from the auction purchase of the property are satisfied, the complaint will be rescinded. If a written guarantee that my account will be treated as equally as other accounts is provided and reinstatement provided, the complaint will be rescinded. The damages caused have not been addressed. Your prohibition of the seller should have occurred prior to my purchase.  The same seller attempted to misrepresent a tax lien certificate as a building for sale in Birmingham, AL in June 2016. I was told that the bid would not be counted against my account, but obviously it was. The complaint regarding the misrepresented product as posted during Bid4Assets auction number [redacted]  continues to be the subject of mediation. Your response is not acceptable.Yours truly,[redacted]Regards,[redacted]

Hi [redacted],   Please remember that per our terms of service, which you have electronically agreed to abide by multiple times, Bid4Assets is only the intermediary platform facilitating a sale between buyer and seller.  Much like [redacted] or [redacted], Bid4Assets doesn't write descriptions of items, sellers come on to the platform and create their own descriptions of their own properties.  If a seller misrepresents an item that they are selling and that causes you damages, you may have recourse against the seller.  We would encourage you to read again through our terms of service and speak with your legal counsel.  Please let us know if there's anything more we can do to assist you in this.   In regards to your account suspension, you have defaulted on 7 auctions across 15 accounts.  You have violated Bid4Assets’ terms of service at least 20 times.  Please stop continuing to violate our terms of service and registering new accounts, you will not be allowed to use the Bid4Assets.com site.   Regards, Bid4Assets’ Clients Services Team

Hello [redacted],Thank you for the info.  We were able to get a copy of your deed from the seller, as well as evidence that their mail to you bounced back as undeliverable.  We are attaching both documents (which as you know we recently sent you).Bid4Assets does not favor buyers or sellers, we remain a neutral third party that holds both parties subject to enforcing the terms of the auction.  The seller has acknowledged that you paid and has provided evidence that deed work is in process.  We are sorry to hear settlement has not gone smoothly, but the evidence supports that there were a few glitches in the deed recording rather than fraud or unlawful activity. Please keep us updated on the process and let us know if there's anything more we can do to help.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services

Your claims are simply untrue.  The notion that registering was complicated and you got so confused, you selected an auction, entered and submitted a bid, confirmed it by manually checking multiple checkboxes, reentered your password, and then provided a credit card as validation all by accident is a difficult story to accept.  As we realize the Revdex.com is not in a place to audit our bidding process, we will extend you the following offer: so long as you agree never to use Bid4Assets again in any respect, we will permanently suspend your account and refund your $250.  Agreed?

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have sent more than one time everything this email requested items to Bid4assets with specific explanations and have gone through the exact process but end up with ZERO response or Support from this Company. What they are doing and saying is a lie to cover their illegal & unfair business practice. If they refused to support their customers in the event of Fraud transactions then they should be liable for our damages.

Hi [redacted],We previously agreed to refund your $10 listing fee and our accounting department shows that this was completed on 1/16/17 and should have appeared on your credit card account within 3-5 business days of then.  Please check your credit card statement and confirm that the $10 credit...

was already returned to you.Regards,Bid4Assets Client Services
