[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Nothing was falsified by me at any point in time I am & was an Independent Contractor for a Health & Wellness Company, that although a stellar company, has been very difficult in getting off the ground regarding sales In addition to that, I made it clear that it was something I was just building & that I had been laid off from my primary long time employerI did let them know I had several irons in the fire in terms of having sent out many resumes & was hopeful in that area being resolved before too long Unfortunately, that was not the case Their on-site agent was very well aware that I was awaiting unemployment, which is why she suggested pushing out the installments to a December start date I was told if I really felt that I could not take this on right now due to financial struggles, that I had until the end of October to call & cancel - which is what I did In their response letter to you, they say they are in good standing with Revdex.com, however, after reading some of the other complaints that sound exactly like mine - high pressure tactics - what amounts to preadtory lending & the fact that they actually have a C- rating with you, shows a high degree of mainpulative & dishonest business practices to say the least To address the phone calls they speak of, I have actually saved the messages I have received There has never been one word uttered that amounts to anything but strong armed harrassment They are sophomoric in the content of their conversations/messages, utilizing a high degree of name calling, threats using incredible immature, unprofessional language & a good amount of yelling So, I have chosen not to participate in irrational, inflammatory, childish conversations Someone should go in there after all the dust has settled & conduct a sting operation to see how they're doing "business" Their business practices should be reported to their governing state/federal agencies Regards, [redacted]

Nothing was falsified by me at any point in time.  I am & was an Independent Contractor for a Health & Wellness Company, that although a stellar company, has been very difficult in getting off the ground regarding sales.  In addition to that, I made it clear that it was something I was just building & that I had been laid off from my primary long time employer.  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The response provided by the business is a basic response that doesn't address the fact that I was coerced into purchasing the timeshare based on lies and misrepresentations.  This business can't just lie to customers and then think the issue is going to go away because they provide a generic response to a valid complaint.  I'm an elderly senior and was taken advantage of.  They claim that they have a good Revdex.com history but there are many complaints about them online.  Lastly, they completely avoided the fact that I sent a cancellation letter to them within the 7 day cancellation period but didn't accept it because it wasn't ceritifed.  I also called several times within that 7 day period but they wouldn't allow me to speak with their attorneys nor the sales manager to confirm they received my cancellation. I have recorded conversations with the secretaries attempting to contact their attorney and sales manager.  They refused to allow me to speak with them.  What kind of legitimate business refuses this request?  The woman I spoke to when I called stated that they received it but it wasn't processed because it wasn't sent certified.  I spoke to the PA State Consumer Protection Agency who feels that I was taken advantage of by this company.  I plan on meeting with them next month.

Review: My husband received a phone call from a woman by the name of Susan from Timber Creek Big Valley Resort on 7-23-2014 Wednesday evening. When I called her back about a half hour later she stated that we had been chosen to receive 2 nights and 3 days at the [redacted] located in [redacted], Pa and we just had to schedule a day to come in for a 90 minute presentation on their timeshare program. She told me there was no need to arrange child care because the site was kid friendly and they could also attend. As I remembered filling out the card at our local ice cream parlor I agreed and scheduled to go in on a Sunday at 11am. She also stated that arriving on time we would also receive a $100.00 dining certificate. We arrived at the Timber Creek Big Valley Resort at 10:40am on Sunday 8-10-2014. We than were introduced to the sales woman and taken into her office for the 90 min. At the end of the presentation my husband and I did not want to commit to anything without doing our own research on the properties, the sales woman left the office and came back in with a paper that said they were out of the vouchers for [redacted], she said they would be mailed out Friday 8-15-2014. Now as of today I have called 3 times since and I keep getting told that its in the mail. I know that it only takes maximum of 2 days in the mail to receive so I called again this morning 8-23-2014 and asked the woman answering the phone to please let me know so my kids don't have to keep waiting for them in the mail (as everyday they are at the mailbox looking) and she was extremely rude and told me she doesn't have any information on me and hung up. I would of rather been told the truth, and its a shame because after research on their timeshares my husband and I were wanting to have another meeting to become part of the timeshares since we are not satisfied with what we currently have.Desired Settlement: I would like them to follow through with the [redacted] and dining vouchers that were promised from the beginning.
