SirThis is work that we have on a service listI am not sure why the customer is so upsetWe were out multiple times and solved all issues the customer hasI was waiting for the extra material to come inWe have gotten rain, snow and very windy conditionsI see the weather next week and
tomorrow is breaking and we will have sunI am sorry but I cannot send an employee up that high in the horrible slippery rainI under stand the customer is calling, I spoke to him and told him I promise he is on the list to be completed but the rain and wind is so badHe seemed to understand so I am surprised that he feels like he must go here to try to get our attentionWe cant go up feet in the air if there is a chance of rain that day, ice or snowIf you look at the daily weather from March through this week you will see constant chances of rainBased on the emergency service this gentleman has I will send some one as soon as possible tomorrow or MondayI sent a service tech to repair about weeks ago, (***) and he told me he did what he could but were waiting on weatherThen I also see that Tom, was there a few weeks ago but did not feel comfortable going that high on a ladder as he is years oldWhen *** got back the material was ordered it took a few weeks to get inIt is an and I was just waiting for a good dry warm day to do the job.I cannot help where people complain but I know I personally spoke with Mr** and I never felt he was this upsetAll I can do is apologize and get there as soon as possible and safely do the service

UPDATE: This complaint was submitted on 1/20/2018, #*** Copy of original complaint at end of this responseAfter an initial apologetic call from the owner (who the company refused to let us speak to, and continues, other than this one contact, to let us speak to), essentially nothing has
changedAccording to Revdex.com, they have not responded to the complaintFollowing that call, a foreman came here to look at things (very brief-maybe minutes)He promised that our windows would be ordered (as we have been promised since October)We still have no installed windohave been told they "were in" (also have heard this several times), but upon our request to have them delivered here and stored in our basement, we got the run around ("we have no truck")We were also told the molding around our windows that they ruined in the whole house would be replaced by molding of the same qualityIt has been over a month, and the foreman showed up for minutes and handed us a piece of molding "for our approval" that was clearly very cheap and did not even come close to the quality or style that they destroyedThe foreman also told us they will be here Tuesday to finish the jobWe have also been told this multiple times in the past, and, especially since they "have no truck", haven't produced the supposedly ordered windows, and since they have not ordered even one piece of molding, this would be impossibleWe had also requested that the huge mess around our yard be cleaned up (multiple piles of loose nails everywhere, huge pile of broken glass from old windows all over, work debris all over, wood scraps all over our front porch, leftover old windows in a huge pile in the yard-and moreI have small children who play in our yard, and I have told the workers several times that this mess is a danger to themI have been unable to let my children play in our yard (which is otherwise very clean with nice landscaping) all winter due to this messSo, at this point, we continue to receive promises that never seem to come through, the job is no further along than it was at the prior complaint, we are continuing to be denied access to the owner, our phone calls are returned late, if at all, my yard is still a mess, and our replacement windows are nowhere near doneWe feel that this is a breach of the contract we agreed to. Ability to deal directly with the owner, due to complete non-responsiveness of other staff, and to ensure that the owner is aware of the lack of progressPurchase by the company - and installation, as promised- of the SAME QUALITY molding to replace the molding their workers destroyedDelivery to our home of the remaining windows and additional ripped screens to our home immediately to prove they are actually hereWe have been blatantly lied to about this since OctoberInstallation, with the foreman's constant supervision of the remaining three windows, screens, molding, and outside framingInspection by a licensed inspector (not one that is part of the company) upon completion to ensure that the job is completed properly and in compliance with standardsEntire mess in yard and any inside the residence be removed by the company(Old complaint from 1/20/2018)

I have told this customer that we are right around the corner with a siding crew and he is nextI have told him this and shipped the material and we are ready to go in approxdaysWe have called and notified

Please understandWe are going back and forth with the sizes of shuttersWhen we finished the job the customer did not want us to mess with the front door due to the fact there was a birds nest thereI was made aware the shutters that we ordered were not right so we ordered new onesThese are all
special order shutters...that means they can take weeks too come in....sometimes weeksWe accepted payment for the job but we asked the customer to hold back dollars because we had to order and install the shuttersI still do not understand how this can be a better business complaint...the customer has not paid for the shutters or the installation of the shutters or the capping of the doorShe is actually holding back more money than the cost of the final materials and laborWhen the shutters came in they were wrong again, and again I did not ask for any payment.....Then I ordered more shutters and they came in, we called the customer and said that we will finish the last door and the shutters when my installer passes by on the way home...That installer has been fired because he drove past the customers house multiple times and left the shutters in the vanWhen we inventoried the van I found the shutters we called to install them and when we got there they were wrong again....the manufacture did not order what we asked for instead they duplicated the previous orderWe still have not asked for paymentThe shutters should be in today or tomorrow and my service technician will install themMy service technician, Tom, has already completed the door casing and a few other issues and the shutters will be finally installed by Friday or Monday the 31st. I ordered her more shutters to see if they will make her happyI am trying the best we can but between the manufacture messing up these special orders and my employee not doing his assigned service we have failed the customer as far as installing shutters is concernedI will complete this to the customers satisfactionI have also instructed my service techto give the customer $in gift cards to "cheese cake factory" restraint thank You Andrew B***PresidentResidential Improvements Inc.

about have been sitting in the driveway for six weeksThe contract was
signed over three months ago, and there has been no progressHe is
putting words in my mouth when he says he has talked to me about the

Wanted to send some more pictures of the misled statements from the owner.1) The vinyl installers disconnected an old light fixture and ran siding over junction box.. the owner stated that the electrical switched were corroded and rotton by the chlorine in pool house ( OMG, I'm glad I'm an actual engineer).. he replaced them all he said at his convenience, I just wanted to show you the pictures, his electrician broke the switch and only replaced one of themthese lies have to stop..Pic #1) Only one new white switch...two old off yellow onesPic #2- 6) Broken switch with no corrosionPic # - 8) Inside windowsI have spray foam that penetrated the inside from outside and they painted over the spray bubbles.I still have numerous nails thru siding causing water and panels to pop off..I just can't stand how untruthful the owner is..Copy of contract and pictures sent to lawyer this morning, since there is no response we will assume that Residential understands the legal ramifications, its close to $55,plus delays and damage to house

We finished Mr*** house and walked around with himThe Installer showed him that the overhang is too close to the opening storm door (as seen on the attached pictures) on the front to put soffit material thereThe clearance is 1/inch and the soffit material is 3/of an inch so there
was no way to apply the soffit material with out making it impossible to open doorA week or so after Mr*** paid and we completed the job he e-mailed a service request and we put him on the service schedule...He wanted another bracket on his downspout which we did and he wanted caulk or putty around the main electric line which we did doThe service tech did not see the home owner although Mr*** again wanted soffit material on the front door area even after speaking with my installer and he seemed to understand the measurements etc.. I called Mr*** and explained to him again that soffit material will not fit there and there was only a metal optionWe could bend medal there but it still may catch the doorHe told me I had to rip the wood structure part and rebuilt the overhang to accommodate the soffitI explained we do siding, we don't get into ripping apart the structure of his home but he said he had a guy he was talking to that said he could rip it down and or cut it up? I said well if that's what you think get it done and we would be glad to put the material on it but I will check with our installer and see if he can do medal on itThat was about a week to ten days agoI was just waiting on what he wanted to do? After reading this complaint today I was surprised, I felt as though we were working towards a solution so I had the installer call today and Mr*** decided to let us just apply medal to that areaWe will do it for him in a day or twoMr*** will have to sign a change order because the contract does not specify the medal only soffit on the rest of the homeI will have my field repsadd to every proposal that material can only be installed if material can be accommodated by the structure of the homeThis should limit any future confusion

I responded to Ms *** multiple times and we serviced her job multiple timesMy service manager lives right near this house and if there is an issue we go to the homeThe report that my service manager gave me after the last service was that some one disconnected the lapped siding...I believe the ***s did not believe there was insulation behind the wallsWe had to reconnect the sidingThere is a third party involved with this project...someone that may or may not have wanted to do the job before we earned her businessEither way we will service Mrs*** as long as I, Andrew Branley, the owner of Residential Improvements owns this company and her warranty passes on to whom ever is next in lineShe has a transferable lifetime warrantyI can be reached anytime at *** for the purposes of asking questions about this projectWe do hundreds of vinyl siding jobs every year and this happens to be one of the jobs that was a true transformationThis home was run down, and had major heat loss through its wallsWe insulated the entire home and sided it with lifetime, no fade sidingThe original quote that was agreed on was the same price we were paid on completionI was surprised the *** were upset due to the fact that we did extensive repairs on the home and did not charge a penny extra, also we installed siding on an area under the porch that was not in the contract but the customer promised me my field representitive said was included so I ordered extra siding and did the additional work with out a single argue net.Although Mrs *** continues to say my crew was drinking because her son saw them drinking juice from a plastic cup my crew continues to tell me that the ***s were mistaken and the son was yelling at my crew every day for taking so many breaksI have questioned my crew and the day that the customer called me and made these claims I called my crew leader and he told me the police already stopped them and the passed the breath testNo DWI was issuedThe ***s called the police and I was told they respondedI had the crew in my office, I have a breathalyzer in my office for this very reasonI test my crews periodically, I guess I do it because I am a Captain in the Army Reserves and I spot check my troops all the time during training.Contsantly making these claims with no solid evidence is really not fairI take alchohol abuse seriously as I have had family members helplessly addicted and I am the first one that will reach out and help an addict in needI have helped multiple soldiers and friends seek help from certified counsellors, and therapy programsIf any members of my team had an alchohol problem I would know, and I would be the first to helpI am trained in assessment and assistance of addicted people.

We spoke with this customerWe are on the job but material has been back orderedI want the job done tooWe will resume this Monday the 13thNon-stop rain through out the North east has been causing huge scheduling problems

This is a service callWe logged the service call on 5--but due to terrible rain and wind we are pushed back at least 4-weeks on non emergency callsDue to the complaint and this dis satisfied customer I will call him today, drop all major services and re attach one piece of siding for
