In reading the letter that they responded, they conveniently left out all the other times I brought vehicle in for them to look at issues that arise after they fixed my vehicle and was consistently told there was nothing wrong and was sent on my way however again conveniently they left that outAlso upon review of their response I found errors with milage that they have documented there is no possible way the milage could have decreased at times I took it there for repairsIf they rotated my tires each time I went for an oil change then the alignment and tire issue I am having now wouldn't exist and they would have preformed a proper oil change that I paid forDarren stated to my husband that the problem occurred because the tires were not rotated but when asked if they get rotated during oil changes the answer was yes, however they did not do what they stated was included with oil changeBig corporations should not be able to get away with these schemes and should be held to a standard.

Problem: August 28th 2015...I returned to Kost Tire in Allentown to have tires replaced on my car as promised As a result from a prior complaint I filed with Revdex.com about a month or so because of the way the front tires were wearing from the date of purchase which was in March Revdex.com resolved that issue with Kost and the tire manufacturerThank you again! Now just today when I went to get the tires mounted on my vehicle I asked a question regarding the Road Hazard Warranty I purchased along with the tires back in March which cost an additional $I asked the assistant manager Pat how things would be now because I have older tires then the installed todayHe told me that because I was having the replaced the Road Hazard Warranty I paid for since the start of this transaction is null and voidI asked why and he said because the manufacturer agreed to replace the bad tiresSo I said well I should get a refund then since I paid for the warranty and your telling me that doesn't matter anymoreHe said no I shouldn't because the manufacturer *** replaced the tires at percent of wearI believe since I paid for something I should still get the warranty which was originally purchased and if not If not I'm entitled to get a refund since they will not warranty the tires I purchased in MarchThis tire center has been giving me problems since the day I made the origional purchaseI spent $at this placeI believe I should get what I paid forThey did the same thing to my sister just weeks agoSomeone must stop this store from there negligence towards customersThere ripping people off and getting away with it.Desired Resolution: RefundRefundselectDesired Outcome: I would like a full refund of the Road Hazard Warranty I purchased since they will not honor it !

In response to *** *** complaint. The Road hazard warranty would have replaced the tire free for *** *** at any of our locations. With that said we normally do not reimburse for a tire replaced at a facility other that *** ***. *** *** is a very good customer and we did make

To whom it may concern, re: complaint from *** * *** 05/12/ Upon an evaluation on *** * ***s *** *** it was found that, due to
an excessive overheating condition irreparable damage had occurred. A recommendation of engine replacement or disposing of the vehicle was made*** *** (Father) came to the shop to discuss optionsBeing extremely limited in funds we suggested that perhaps a “used, inexpensive” engine might be the solutionIt was understood by ALL that there would be no guaranteeing this would be a permanent fixwe prepared an estimate to make the car “safe and, reliable”The quote would consist of used engine, transmission clutch kit, radiator hoses, spark plugs and, tires would be madeThis would be minimum required to get the vehicle running, the quote would be roughly $(with no warrantee on a used engine)This was far over the budget that *** *** was prepared forGiven our long business relationship Kost Tire MtPocono decided to make a “bare bones” quote at *** *** requestHe said “this would be the very last money he would invest in the car” NO EXTRAS*** *** was adamant NO WHEEL ALIGNMENT, NO ROAD HAZARD, COOLANT FLUSH. Still the estimate was too highWe adjusted the labor to only hours ($340.00) a repair normally quoted between to hoursWhen the repair was completed the *** family seemed very appreciative of the help we extended Several weeks later *** hit a large pothole which would damage her new tire. Expecting that ROAD HAZARD would cover the replacement tire, she was extremely upset that she would have to spend “ANYTHING” given the recent investment madeWe even offered to extend a tire at cost but, any money would be too much. We apologize for any inconvenience we have caused *** ***We did agree to have the wheel repaired but *** *** refused. The damage to the wheel is minimal and can be repaired by a qualified wheel repair company. The damage does not justify a complete wheel replacement.
Therefore, Kost Tire will agree to have the wheel repaired at certified wheel repair facility at our expense! We can take care of this as soon as possible! In response to customer *** ***, please be advised that the vehicle was brought to the dealership for the alignment and is clearly states on customer invoice that the left front strut is bent and the vehicle could not be brought into manufactures alignment
specification by *** ***. Please refer to attachments for supporting documentation. In addition, the vehicle suspension has be lowered. According to the customer the dealership was not given any alignment specs to compensate for the lowered suspension. We believe that the vehicle has a bent strut assembly, the suspension has been lower, and the dealership could not aligned it properly which are all contributing factors to ** *** handling issues.. The camber setting clearly shows that it is out of spec and will cause tire wear and handling problems ( see attachment). *** *** as a show of goodwill and customer satisfaction was offered a 96% adjustment on his front tires through the manufacturer *** but nothing on the rear tires which are fine. Regardless of what tires are put on the vehicle *** *** still has suspension and alignment issues that will wear tires and create handling problemsPlease feel free to call me if you have any questions.
