PULLED CREDIT WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP ON JAN 29, TO GET A PRICE ON A VEHICLE SO THAT I COULD TAKE IT BACK TO MY BANK TO GET THE MONEY TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLEINSTEAD THAT PULLED ME EVERY WHICH WAY BUT THE RIGHT WAY AND TRIED TO PUT ME IN A DIFFERENT VEHICLE ALL I WANTED WAS A PRICE ON THE ONE I ASKED ABOUT THE SALESMAN KEPT ASKING FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WHICH I NEVER GAVE TO HIM NOR DID I EVER WANT TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLE HE WAS SHOWING ME I *** PULLED AROUND FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF JUST TO GET A PRICE I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THE DEALERSHIP DID IN FACT RUN MY CREDIT WITHOUT ME KNOWING, WITHOUT ME SIGNING ANYTHING OR WITHOUT ME PROVIDING THEM WITH MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WHICH I AM ASSUMING THE PULLED IT FROM A PAST PURCHASE I HAD MADE WITH THEM I RECEIVED LETTERS IN THE MAIL FROM BANKS WHERE THEY DENIED THE REQUEST FOR AN AUTO LOAN I THEN CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO ASK HOW THEY PULLED IT WITH OUT MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND TH

I would like to start by saying that I am ecstatic to be writing this review
I purchased a Fiat 500X Trekking from this dealership on 08/07/I was nervous since this was my very first vehicle purchaseI was also nervous because I had went to another dealership before speaking w/ Derrick G*** (my sales person at Bill Boruff's) and had a horrific experienceI explained to Derrick what I had been told by the other salesperson at the other dealership, and Derrick was kind enough to explain that I had been grossly lied toHe even went as far as to say, "I don't even care if you buy a car from us..just please don't go back to them." That was the main reason I DID go to see if I could get a car through Bill Boruff..because I was being treated like a -person- not just a customerHe could have easily tried to go into a sales pitch about why I needed to buy from them, etcetc..but he didn't
I am absolutely beyond happy that I decided to get my vehicle through Bill Boruff's DealershipThe vehicle I wanted was at another one of their lots, so they went to the other lot and brought the car to their dealership for meI was able to test drive the vehicle before the conversation of me buying the vehicle was ever even hadI was made to feel comfortable about asking all sorts of questions (trust me..I had many), and never once was made to feel like I was being a nuisanceThe atmosphere was down to earth, and friendlyMy salesperson, Derrick G***, was honest, nice, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, not pushy, and he was super helpfulAt this dealership, it's not just hit or miss on whether you're going to get an amazing salesperson..because they ALL exhibit all of the qualities I mentioned above that Derick displayed I firmly believe they try to be as transparent as they possibly can be about the entire car purchasing process
Wesley M***, their desk manager is fantastic and worked really hard to get me into the payments I wanted and was really great about explaining my options to me in a very informative non-condescending helpful manner
The finance manger, Al K***, was wonderful to work with and also had no problems explaining things to me in a way that I could understand them..because let's face it..as a first time car buyer, I didn't really know muchThe fact that I -didn't- know much and they could have easily exploited that and yet they didn't..speaks VOLUMES about the business and the character of the individuals that work there
I even want to give a shout out to their crew who detail their vehiclesMy looked almost brand new on the inside! I've looked at other used cars at other dealerships before..and trust me, the interiors didn't even come as close to looking as good as the cars at Bill Boruff's do! Just wow!
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Bill Boruff, Jason L***He greeted me with a smile, a hearty handshake, and was more than happy to talk to meI wanted to thank him personally for having outstanding salespeople who treat their customers like family and make the environment feel so comfortableHis motto is, "We sell cars, not credit" and that is something they most certainly stood behindNot ONCE did they ask me about my credit or credit score, they simply just worked with me, and provided me with options to help me get into the car that I wanted to be in
On top of all of the wonderful service I got while I was there, I also received in the mail a letter from them thanking me for my business and was given my first oil change and lube for FREE through them! Something they really didn't have to do, but did
I could go on and on raving about this dealership, but I will end my review with thisIf you are in the market for a new, or new to you vehicle..go to Bill Boruff, they will not st*** you wrong!!

I was promised a new key and have yet to receive it weeks laterAlso have a warranty but staff won't get back with me so I can get issues fixed

Price baiting
I waited for two weeks to purchase a Chevrolet avalancheWhen I was finally able to see the truck it was very filthy and full of trashDuring negotiations they raised the price from $to $After the price increase they kept trying to get me to purchase a more expensive vehicleThe vehicle was not worth the original price

My yr old daughter traded in a car , car salesman told her they would pay off her other carThen because the paper work lady's daughter and mine had a falling out , they are causing her problems on her carNow she has to take this car back and will be months behind on the car they claimed they would pay offThey also run her all over for different paper work and her grandfather the co-signer...Each time still pretending the loans would go thruAccording to info online this is a scam...I will fileCSS form thru dodge and contact state attorney for reports on dealersAnd we get to pay over 1,in back car paymentsI will name all employees in my reports with screenshots of text messages from dealer to her

Dealership negotiated an unauthorized deal with a third party not listed on my credit application
I submitted a credit application for a used vehicleDealership negotiated a deal with my *** who was not listed as a co-applicantDealership disclosed financial information with my spouse that I did not authorizeWhen I contacted the general manager, he stated it was their legal right to do so, since the credit application had been forwarded to me by my *** GM countered with an accusation claiming I falsified my salary and submitted a fraudulent application The dealership breached my financial confidentiality without my legal consent

"JW" The sales manager is an outstanding individual! He went above and beyond to correct an issue I hadHe DID NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING! But he chose to correct the issue and acted on my concerns! It is refreshing to find such an upstanding person in the used car business! Hat's off and Kudo's to "JW"He deserves a big pat on the back, at minimum, from his superiorsA bonus would be in order for this fine gentleman! Thank you
