Bill Dodge Auto Group Reviews (29)

Although sorry that the customer does not feel we adequately satisfied her requests we have met all of our obligations agreed to when she purchased her vehicle and consider this issue closed on our end

We are of course very sorry that Mr***s initial experience with Bill Dodge was not satisfactory to him.....however at this point we have addressed and rectified the customer's concerns and there is not anything further we can offer as a resolution

Again, we are sorry that the customer is unhappy with their purchase decision.....we are happy to explore trading them out of the vehicle again but short of that there is nothing further that we can do to remedy the situation

Customer is not requesting any action be taken by the dealer at this time as the vehicle has been repaired and returned to the customer There was never any damage or accidents disclosed to us as the selling dealer from the previous owner and the Carfax on the vehicle is clean....validating that the vehicle does not have any prior damage or accidents unfortunately there were a few items that needed to be fixed after the purchase was completed but those have all been rectified and the customer has the vehicle in their possession

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments belowBill Dodge is correct in their response in that there likely was an opportunity for me to go outside and view the vehicle before purchasingHowever after being a loyal customer for over years, purchasing my last vehicles with the same salesperson and referring countless other customers I would have expected some type of notice that the vehicle did not match the specifications that I asked for nor did it match the previous vehicles I had purchasedNot one document in the sales process reviewed the specifications of the new vehicle nor did the sales representative ever mention the fact that the vehicle had a smaller engine than what I originally requestedAfter being told over the phone that this same issue happened to a customer a few months prior to my purchase, I would have thought that Bill Dodge would review and revise their sales process to be sure the Sales Rep reviewed all specifications of the vehicle with the customer before purchasingAfter notifying them of the issue their was no apology for the mistakeThe offer to rectify the situation was to trade my vehicle for a new vehicleThe travalue of my vehicle (with 1,miles) was $7,less than what I originally paidI contacted several other area dealerships and I was offered travalues ranging from of $5,- $6,less than my original purchase priceIt was then clear to me that Bill Dodge was trying to profit from the mistakeAfter explaining the issue to those dealerships and several sales reps they could not believe what had happened and felt that Bill Dodge should have offered the full purchase price of my vehicle in trade Regards, [redacted]

Although we are very sorry that Mr [redacted] feels the way that he does about his truck and his experience we have addressed his concerns, fixed his pinched fuel line issue and exhausted all avenues that we have to make him happy He has become verbally abusive to the employees and unwilling to work with us any longer on a professional and productive way to resolve any further concerns he may have

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] .I am not satisfied and need Bill Dodge to be held reliable for the damage that they have causedThey did NOT comply with our agreement in which [redacted] is statingthe simple fact that the payment that was suppose to be paid in june and was not received until november is an excellent example of this company falling behind on the responsibilities which resulted in my credit score being ruined Regards, [redacted]

The customer has spoken with the Service Manager (*** ***) and will be bringing her vehicle in tomorrow (the 26th) at 9:for us to take a look at it and we will go from there

I would think you would look the truck over and know what you are selling before you put it on your lot Clearly the car fax was about as good as the sticker on the truck as that proved to be invalid Upon having some of the original cosmetic work done at the dealer the employees removed the door molding and discussed with me that the passenger side had been completely repainted because they're were paint lines around the original molding hense they could not remove the original molding as discussed and had to replace it with new to hide the paint lines.

I brought my vehicle in to Bill Dodge on July 26th, *** *** promptly took care of the issues I
was having with it and the vehicle seems to be running well, thus far I honestly hope that I have no future issues - because I am elated to just have my ole car back, running the way it was, prior to this whole ordeal. I truly appreciate how well *** treated me and that he gave me a loaner to use while they were fixing my vehicle If all customers issues/concerns were handled the way he handled them, from the get go, there would be no customer complaints, ever Thank you, ***, for proving to me - that there really are still some good people left in this world who actually care about the customer
Sincerely,

First of all the statement from BDAG is full of liesThey DID NOT recommend that I completely replace the whole turbo and I DID NOT reject such a recommendationThey recommended I replace the waste gate valve and also recommended that I have them replace the gaskets since they said hey found a small leakI DID at first attempt to reject replacing the gaskets, but finally agreed to have them replaced when I asked and was assured that replacing the waste gate valve and replacing the gaskets would fix my problem. Also, the car doesn't have over 200,miles on itIt currently has 198KI do not currently have the paperwork I received from them that will show that their assertion they recommended fully replacing the turbo and I rejected it is a lie, but I can get it and furnish itI can also provide proof that the mileage is less than they assert. I can also provide testimony from the other shop that has taken the engine out and apart and can attest that BDAG did not properly seat the replacement gaskets and that this most likely led to a catastrophic loss of oil. I am seeking a refund of the money I paid them to "fix" my car, their bumbling of which led to my engine seizing and also to be reimbursed for the cost of a replacement engine and installation thereof

*** *** has been in contact with the customer to resolve. We have asked her to show us where she had the payments deducted out of her account and once she does we will resolve with *** and refund her what is owed

I am not satisfied with the responseThe main issue in this case is that Bill Dodge Auto Group has a signed lease agreement with me in which they agreed to pay for the remaining payments on my *** Sportage ($674.70) and any additional fees for my over-mileage ($2,104.15)These payments were suppose to be paid to *** Motor Finance the day in which the lease was terminated, 06/28/The payment of $was never received by *** and resulted in me being held responsible for those payments along with the payments on my current vehicleOn 9/15/Bill Dodge made a payment to *** for $1,654.20, a total of $short and months lateThis caused my great credit score to be destroyed by reflecting late auto paymentsI contacted the Revdex.com after months of trying to get my money back that was taken as a result of Bill Dodges failure to comply with our lease agreementIn November of 2017, Bill Dodge agreed to pay me the $so I could pay the bill directly to ***I was never reimbursed for the $and have both bank statements showing my account from 06/28/17-present, and a signed bank statement stating that the check referenced (#***) in the amount of $was never received on my end. It seems that there has been some confusion and misunderstanding of the agreed payments in my lease agreement on Bill Dodges part. Unless Bill Dodge communicates with either me or *** to fix my credit score, I am seeking further action.

Attached to this reply is the signed invoice from May 26, when we initially looked at Mr***'s vehicle. As you can see we strongly recommended replacement of the turbo assembly and instead Mr*** opted to fix the waste gate and the external oil leaks knowing (written on the invoice) that the only way to ensure the turbo was fixed properly was to replace it. Unfortunately Mr*** only got another miles on the vehicle before he encountered additional issues. At that time the vehicle was brought to our shop and we determined that the engine was seized. Mr*** would not let us take out the engine to see what caused the issues. We also offered to assist him in trading out of his almost 200,mile vehicle. Mr*** instead had the vehicle towed from our facility without giving us the opportunity to diagnose it or work on it. Since then he has thrown several allegations around of abuse to his vehicle and deceptive practices....neither of which do we feel is accurate. The offer still stands if Mr*** would like to trade out of his vehicle we would be happy to assist him with that option. It is our opinion that the dealership has not done anything wrong or deceptive in the attempts to resolve his issues and is not willing to reimburse him for the waste gate and external oil leak repairs when we told him right up front that this might not fix the problem and the only way to completely fix the initial issue was to replace the turbo assembly

Although this is not the outcome we like to have here at the Bill Dodge Auto Group we have been unable to reach a mutually acceptable resolution to Mr***'s concerns
