Shopping at BILTRITE couldn't be easier and working with [redacted] (salesperson) was a fantastic experience!! I was looking for a bed for my guest room. I was in and out within 15 minutes! I returned looking for a very particular couch---they had exactly what I was looking for. Great service, great prices, great pieces! I love that this is a locally owned store with old-fashioned customer service values.

Sales staff very good,delivery crew on time and very careful bringing items in house. Great overall experience !

I've bought from Biltrite when they were located on 7th & Mitchell St. But since then my health has declined and I have trouble getting up off the couch. I researched many stores and even made some calls before going shopping for a lift chair. I am a heavy woman, so I needed a sturdy chair that I could feel safe on. I went to Biltrite and my salesman [redacted] was very knowledgeable and didn't waste time showing me chairs that wouldn't work for me. I chose the perfect chair, but wanted a different fabric, which did take longer to receive. The day the chair was to arrive, it snowed. I did arrange for someone to come and shovel my walk, but before they got there the Biltrite truck pulled up. I was embarrassed that the walk up to the house from the curb was not shoveled. The delivery guys were awesome. One said "I can see you are unable to shovel, but don't you worry about a thing. We brought our shovel and will take care of it". They put protective blanket on the woodwork when they brought the chair in and I wanted to make sure it worked before they left. The delivery guy said " Ready to take it for a test ride"? So I did, it worked great and when I reclined back he said Nighty night !! I laughed, signed the paper and off they went. It is a relief to know I don't have to struggle to try and get off the couch any more. This chair can lift 500 pounds and has battery backup in case of power outage, so you never have to worry !

I bought a sectional on feb 7th 2014 from this company the estimated time to receive this piece was 6-8 weeks we actually received this sectional in 5 weeks and were thrilled with our couch and the turn around time. With that being said we decided to add a piece to our sectional on march 22nd 2014 the estimated shipping time was the same as the entire 6 piece sectional but we didn't care we went ahead and ordered it anyways. It is now June 23rd 2014 THREE months after we ordered this extra piece for our couch and we now just got a call that it is in.. The face that it took almost twice as long as they said isn't the only thing that I have this complaint about. the fact that not ONE time during this 3 months were we ever called to be let know that this was going to take this long or did they even just call and say hey we know this is taking longer than thought were sorry we will keep an eye on it NOTHING! I called 4 times during this time period to get an update it was then that we were told to hang in there.. I finally had enough and called on friday June 20th and asked to speak to a manger I wanted my money back but one wasn't in they would call me back fine no problem.. It was a few hours later that one of the staff called and its a funny coincidence that after I call and want my money back all of a sudden my piece is in! Still I say I want to talk to a manager about the lack of customer service on there part.. on saturday the 21st of june 2014 a manager [redacted] called me back she was more conceded with what was going on with her life than my problem to start with I head all about her mothers health.. Don't get me wrong I feel for her but I am a customer not a therapist I don't want to hear about your problems when I am calling about one that I have with your store. once we got past that she gave me every excuse in the book about why this took so long. once I told her multiple times that the wait time for this wasn't my main issue my issue was the face that I had to call 4 times to get any kind of update on my order. The customer service was my problem she refused to hear what I was saying and kept telling me about the fabric delay! By this point I am beyond mad that I have spent 3000.00 with them for a couch and not only did I not get any kind of customer service but the manager was a joke! I have worked in customer service my entire work career and if I would have treated any of my customers the way I was treated by not only [redacted] but the fact that I didn't hear anything for 3 months I would have lost my job! This was our !st and last time buying from them and we have spread the word about this sad experience we had! After all was said and done we weren't offered anything!! not even an I'm sorry for our lack of customer service! What I got was a I'm sorry the fabric company took so long! IT IS A TOTAL JOKE!

Just yesterday I returned to Biltrite to purchase a jewelry armoire. My father and I had previously been in to buy an Amish dining room set, and I thought they would have some nice pieces for me to store my jewelry. Their selections were beautiful, but that wasn't the best part. I've noticed there are two types of stores...the kind that doesn't much care about their customers, no matter how many times they walk through the door, and the kind that treats you like family every time. Biltrite is the second kind: it was great to be welcomed back so enthusiastically! The service was just as fantastic as when we bought our dining room set, even though we were making a much smaller purchase. Tom was our salesman, and he was as patient and helpful as ever, and Gail even came over to say hello and help me make my choice (thanks!). I'm excited to get such a lovely piece for my bedroom, and look forward to going back to Biltrite again.

Built Rite Furniture has been around for four generations and my family has been a loyal customer for three generations. Our parents bought their first furniture at the store on Mitchell Street. We have purchased items there also, but love the new store in Greenfield. When it came time for our grown children to purchase furniture they did all the shopping around, price comparisons and quality comparisons you can imagine. I have purchased several items from Biltrite. Quite frankly, this is the best furniture store in Milwaukee. In my opinion, the quality of their products surpass all others.. The sales staff are extremely knowledgeable and know their products extremely well. Price wise, they can't be beat!!!! At one point I used to go to several furniture stores looking for an item..now I just go directly to Biltrite!

Over the past 12 months, I have made several purchases from BiltRite Furniture. At first, I went in looking for a small leather recliner because I heard that they specialize in small scale furniture. I found just what I wanted and the transaction was flawless from special order, to pick-up! After that experience, I went back for other items,not so much due to the availability of small scale pieces, but because of the great customer service and the way I was treated. I like that I can look around the store without being rushed. Sales staff have gone out of their way to search manufacturers for specific items I wanted. I also appreciate that the pieces are unpacked, inspected, and assembled by BuiltRite's pick-up team before being loaded into my van. No need for me to get out the tools at home to attach the "hardware" or doors or casters! Love it!

4 generations of my family have been shopping Biltrite Furniture since the 1940's. Great quality furniture at very competitive prices and a friendly knowledgeable staff all make for a great shopping experience. No need to shop because Biltrite Furniture should be your first and last stop all in one visit. No disappointments. The name says it all. Keep up the great service and experience.

Needed a new sofa and went again to Bilt Rite. August 2015 had exactly what my wife wanted and liked. Easy to work with. Great price, quality and value. Been buying here for 30 years. So did my parents and grandparents. Still have the dining room table from 1947. Beautiful. No disappointments whatsoever. Save time and money. Go see Bilt Rite.

I purchased a mattress from Biltrite. My salesman was wonderful and low-key/no pressure.
My delivery team was amazing! Brandon C is a gem! Brandon and Taylor delivered the mattress set to my home last week and they were really wonderful.
Brandon was engaging and friendly. And, as a team, they were efficient and fast. Brandon and Taylor even went the extra mile and put the bed skirt on for me.
My buying experience at Bilt Rite was fine to begin with, but Brandon really made it shine.
He should get a big bonus!

We love shopping at Biltrite from the friendly staff to the organized showroom. We have found the furniture to be of high quality and while at times when you are custom ordering you are waiting a bit for the furniture but the expectation is set when the order is made and the wait is well worth the product. We have bought many, many pieces of furniture and generally work with Randi who is just awesome. But we would have not problems working with any of the staff.

Being undecided upon the purchase of the right firmness of mattress and colour of the wood stain for her desired bed, dear sir [redacted] came to her rescue! With an extended knowledge of wood grains, stain colours, types of firmness in mattress qualities, drawer measurements, customer needs and desires, etc., your wonderful gentleman consultant [redacted] did answer all questions that [redacted] needed answered. After directing [redacted] and her love interest([redacted]) to the many rooms containing the many types and styles and sizes of mattresses, [redacted] did decide to purchase a king-sized double-sized mattress with quality guarantee and the perfect type of softness and firmness coupled for a perfect night's sleep. I was merely along for the experience; but was highly impressed with [redacted] kindness, gentle sense of humor, extreme patience, and overall goodwill customer satisfaction attitude. [redacted] went above and beyond any sales consultant job; even providing a military discount to [redacted] and [redacted] has a gentle pursuasion without being anywhere close to overbearing.He won them over and won me over. I saw a beautiful kitchen set that I'm hoping to come back for next March, after receipt of my income tax refund. If so, I sincerely hope [redacted] will still be part of your staff. I've been looking for a first living room set that was stylish, modern, high quality, and affordable. I initially went to Steinhafels and was not very impressed by their styles (mostly overstuffed). In addition, many of their pieces seemed overpriced given the stiching/quality. I liked the majority of the sofas and tables at Biltrite and was able to get an entire living room set including sofa (mid century look), leather chair, and matching coffee table/ side tables for around $2000. My salesperson was named [redacted] and he was very helpful. I would highly recommend checking out their selection before making a purchase.

I LOVE BILT RITE AND GAIL!!! I have purchased my sofa, end tables, coffee table, bedroom set, mattress, entertainment console, oak desk, recliner, and much more over the past 5 years...and it is all still amazing and high quality! I'm going to finish my entire house with BILT RITE furniture. I also cannot say enough about Gail, our sales woman and third generation owner of the store. She is amazing and it feels like visiting a friend every time I go to the store! I highly recommend BILT RITE for everything!!!

Well I have been purchasing furniture with Bilt Rite for 30 years and never not once did I have a problem with anything I bought from them everything was 100%! Then My Husband and I purchased a Dining set Beautiful table and chairs Jan. 2014 and I was having a problem with the top of the chairs were cracking and I was very unhappy after working with [redacted] for seemed like forever. I was told to come in and Speak with A Young lady named [redacted] and so I did She was was very understanding and just so kind helped me pick out different chairs and worked with us to make sure we picked out the right stain. It did take about 2 months to get my new chairs but they are perfect and they look better then the 1st Ones. Threw this whole experience not one employee at Built Rite ever treated me with disrespect and believe me I called and came in the store a lot.I give Built Rite 110% For Customer service, Sales, and Service

My family and I have been shopping at Biltrite for several years now and are loyal customers. We love the Rowe brand for sofas and chairs for the living room. Before initially shopping at Biltrite, I looked at other stores as well and went back to Biltrite for the selection, value and customer service. We were lucky enough to work with [redacted]. We have bought sofas for 3 different houses and keep coming back! We also bought a beautiful cloth recliner for my elderly mother. [redacted] really knows her stuff, has a great eye for color and is helpful. She remembers us every time. She even got our most recent ordered rushed from the manufacturer to accomodate our schedule.
