My husband and I recently purchased a sectional from Biltrite Furniture. We could not be more pleased with it. Quality built by American workers. It will last a lifetime. I started buying from Biltrite in the 1980's and continue as a customer now 30 years later. Their staff is patient and friendly and will work with you to ensure you find exactly what you are looking for.

I would suggest you consider Biltrite for your furniture needs. I am from MN and needed to get a bed for my daughter who attends college in Milwaukee. I did internet research and called some stores. Biltrite knew exactly my situation and helped me through the process, first over the phone (patience, answered questions, advice) and then when I went to Milwaukee to potentially purchase. They provided a systematic in-store review of types of mattresses, costs, etc. They understood our situation and did not try to push anything on us; only meet our needs. Their competitive pricing and superior service as a family owned business set them apart. Long story short, we got a fair price and they delivered the bed (free) to my daughter's apartment in the time window planned. Set up in 10 min. and she was all set. Everyone is friendly and customer focused. This should be the only company to buy furniture and mattresses in Milwaukee if you value price and service. Exceptional!

Have recently bought a leather living room set and tempur-pedic mattress. All was delivered within (or even earlier) the estimated time. Appreciate the extra time given to my elderly aunt by Cindy when I brought her in to chair shop. My aunt loves to talk and Cindy gave her the time and respect that I greatly appreciated.

well its been a month. I have been waiting for my new section of my $1,800 sectional that started on fire because the power wire got wrapped in the recliner joints. all I have been told is they are still waiting to hear from company, not sure what that means. I would think this is something they would like to take care of fast just knowing this couch could have burned my house down if I wasn't here when it happened.Don't know what to do with this stinky burnt couch.

In this day and age customer service is at best "okay". My husband and I did NOT experience this at Biltrite. From the moment we walked in we were treated exceptionally well. Our salesperson [redacted] showed us mattresses and gave us time to lay on each and make a decision. He was not pushy at all. When I questioned the 30-90 day guarantee that other stores had [redacted] actually showed me the "guarantee" from another store and we realized it was basically the same as a no guarantee. Too many hoops to jump through if you weren't satisfied with your mattress. We ended up picking out a mattress that was on sale. The price was so good that we decided to buy a sleigh bed as well. We purchased on Monday and even with adding the bendable feature for the mattress it was delivered that Friday. The exceptional service extended to the delivery guys as well. They actually asked me to remove the nails in the wall up the staircase because they didn't want them to puncture the mattress. I couldn't believe the outstanding service we received at Biltrite. We will definitely purchase there again and have told several family and friends about the exceptional service, quality furniture/mattress, and LOCALLY OWNED business Biltrite is running!!!

I went to Biltrite looking for a new recliner. I was greeted by a very friendly, unfortunately nameless, receptionist. She was warm and welcoming, however, her name tag just said reception. She asked what I was looking for, and if I'd like to free roam and browse, or if I'd like a specialist to help. I asked for assistance, and Tom was there immediately. We walked through the LARGE showroom to the recliner area. I sat on several, narrowed the field, and made a selection. Tom was helpful, not pushy. He even asked if I'd like him to step away to see if I could fall asleep in the chair. I made my choice, and set my pickup date and paid for the chair. 2 days later, pickup was fast and simple. Delivery is an option, but I have access to a large SUV and chose to save the cash. Overall, an experience I'd gladly repeat. If I were looking to nitpick, I'd say lack of same day free delivery 30 miles from store is a negative. Realistically, if a business offers such a service for any purchase, their merchandise is at a significantly higher markup to cover the delivery and bonding costs. If you need home furnishings, stop here. High quality pieces at expected to slightly discounted prices. No "buy one piece at full price, get next piece 50%off" fake sales. [redacted] Stop in. It'll be worth your time. Big selection. Friendly staff. No pressure.

We purchased a townhouse in Elkhart Lake right before Thanksgiving. We wanted to have it furnished so that our family could use it during the Christmas Holidays. [redacted] was great!! She helped with selecting the right pieces for our Lake home and went out of her way make the delivery process as easy as possible. She helped me pick out furniture through a company that ensured that a custom built sectional arrived in 4 weeks!! Our family spent the weekend after Christmas there as well as New Years.

We just want to comment on what a positive pleasant experience it has been working with Bilt Rite Furniture,especailly [redacted]. The selection, the quality of furniture, and the care with which it is delivered is exceptional. We have dealt with [redacted] and Bilt Rite on numerous occasions in the past, and will continue to be a customer of theirs in the future. We bought a futon set from Biltrite during July, 2013. They delivered it damaged and my son signed for it. We called the next day to report it. During the resolution process, [redacted] continually told us that we were responsible for the damage and they would only fix it at our expense. At no time did she or anyone come and look at it or even entertain the fact that they damaged it in transit. It was obvious that, when looked at, you could see where another chair or stool punctured the material while on their delivery vehicle. In frustration, we called the credit card company and disputed the charges. They were reversed. BiltRite then replaced our futon under duress but not before a scathing attack on my son and wife by [redacted] followed by an accusatory email. Not to let it go, she then double charged the credit card and the second credit is still pending but will be handled now by the bank directly with them.

We saved the voice mails, emails and letter as an example of how not to treat a customer. It will be a cold day indeed before we would ever recommend this company to anyone. We can't believe that the owners of any business would allow an employee to do this to them and their reputation. How sad for what used to be a good Milwaukee company.

They were very nice when they delivered our furniture we leave on a 2nd floor duplex and it's very hard to find companys that can deliver to our home but these guys did it.

I would like to thank and recommend all the staff, especially Fred the salesman, who was very patient and knowledgeable. Biltrite Furniture had just the right lift chair at the right price for my 87 year old mother! Our shopping experience was very pleasant!
