Good afternoon I just received a check from this company today. Just to let you know that I received a catalog from them 3 weeks ago. I see that item is still falsely advertised. This prompted an email from me to the company to tell them to take me off their mailing list. You can close my complaint. I thank you very much for your help! Sincerely

Again, I apologize for the issues you have with our company. I removed your email from the second account on 12/10/14, if an email was received on 12/11, it may have been in a queue to go out prior to the removal. The email address was removed, and is not in our system in any way.
I understand your frustration, but we have no control over state or federal restrictions in regard to product shipping. We are unable to list every restriction for every state at this time.

I ordered 2 Pug Solar Lanterns. I received emails acknowledging my order, another when the items shipped and they arrived right on time, packaged well. I give the company kudos in that regard. However, I think the items were VERY overpriced ($34.99 each) and the online photos appeared to be of much better quality than the items actually are. What I received were just another cheap Made In China items. Both are so light in weight that a strong breeze will likely blow them over, which makes them not very suitable for outdoor use. Had I seen these lanterns in a store, I would definitely not have purchased them, even at half the price Bits and Pieces charged. For that reason, I probably will not order from this company again. Good service, shoddy product.

I had a terrible and surprising experience with this company. I ordered online from them. They overcharged me for what they initially shipped, my package never came and they ignored my e-mails. When I called to cancel my order and get a refund they repeatedly left me on hold for lengthy periods of time, presumably hoping I would just hang up. Finally they told me that they had processed my refund and that it would take 3-5 business days to show on my credit card statement. I never received the refund. I had to go through my credit card to get the money back.

I needed to order a large supply (70 sets) of an 8-piece set of wooden puzzles from this company and needed them in a fairly short amount of time (2 months). I called them to verify they could accommodate my order, which they affirmed. I received 13 sets in about two weeks. I called to ask about the other 57 sets and was told they would arrive on April 20. They did not arrive so I checked my order status to find it was listed as cancelled. It took three phone calls to the company to get a straight answer about what happened to my order. The first call, when I asked to speak to management was given an invalid phone number to call. On the second call I was hung up on, even though I was speaking appropriately. The third call was when I was finally told that my order had been cancelled because they could not fulfill the order. I stated it would have been nice to know that information during my original call to the company, during my inquiry about the rest of the order, or when someone decided to cancel it without letting me know. Do not order from this company and expect to get your order.

I have order from Bits and Pieces in the past. I have an account. . I have placed orders in the past. I placed an order only to discover the product was sent to another address. I felt so uncomfortable in the first phone conversation with the person I ordered from, I called back a second time and want over the order again along with reviewing my address, I asked that this second call be documented along with my concerns it was not! .. It was not until I got the conformation email that I discovered the product was sent to a different address.. so I will billed and someone got my order!!! I called customer service and was told they would take the order off my bill. We will see. I write this as warning. I could not have tried harder to give them my address.. I was very disappointed

If the company has removed my e-mail address from it's computers as of 4:15 PM on 12/10, why is it that here on 12/11, I'm still receiving e-mails? If I knew how to" I'd attach the e-mails I've received since my e-mail address was "removed".
And whether or not the restrictions were their policy or the policy of my state, some way of letting me know the item was restricted should have been a part of the offer. Other companies do it. There is no reason why Bits and Pieces can't!

Order a Christmas gift to be sent to NJ from Florida. Was not delivered but check cashed on 12-10. I call on 12-27 and was told package was mailed on 12-9-16, but turns out the address was incorrect. No way that I put in the address that they had on label. A scam perhaps. They are going to redeliver but could give me no date of delivery or when it was going to be shipped. I filed a dispute on my credit card! Unethical business practices I believe

This company has horrible customer service. First of all there is no way to track your order online, second to return anything you have to call them and wait a week for them to send you a label. It can't be done by email like most sites. Third, after they receive your return, in which it had been at least three weeks since purchase it takes over a month for them to return the item and process a refund. At this point, they have had your money for seven weeks. I'm still waiting for a refund. Lastly, there is also no way to track where your refund stands and you are on hold forever.

I apologize for the delay. Order [redacted] $57.45 shipped from Bits and Pieces on December 11, 2015. Unfortunately, [redacted] returned the package to us because of an issue with the address in their system on December 18, 2015. A refund of $45.96 was processed back to the...

[redacted] used on December 21, 2015.  That normally takes 3-5 business days to show up on your statements. I just processed a refund for the remainder ($11.49) which was the S/H charges. This will also take about 3-5 business days for you bank to process.

Bits and Pieces Customer Dispute Resolution

Since I placed this order, several things have happened but I received no communication about any of it from Bits&Pieces. I placed this order on the 23rd, but never received an email order confirmation, so I had no order number. Five days later, looking for something in my [redacted] account, I noticed a partial refund from B&P. I had not received an email about it, either the fact of it or the reason for it. I called them and they managed to locate my order. They said that one of the items was not in stock when they finally got around to shipping it. It WAS in stock when I ordered it. They had not informed me of this change in my order status. They hoped the shipment would be sent out by the end of the week. Apparently they STILL had not shipped it out, although they had time to discover one item was out of stock, issue a refund, and NOT email me about it. How many more of my items would go out of stock before they finally get around to shipping my order? Now, 12 days after ordering, I have not received my order, a second call to the company reveals that it STILL has not been shipped (and will not be shipped for another week, nor do I know how many MORE of the items I ordered will not be in stock by the time they finally get around to shipping), and I have not received a single email communication from the company.

I will never order from this company again. Here's why: 11/22 - ordered 4 puzzles from B & P; card was charged same day. 12/6 - called B & P to check status of order. Was told that the order was "being processed" (for 14 days) and that the order couldn't be canceled because it was "being processed". 12/15 - received notification that order had "completed order processing and . . . . been cleared for fulfillment." So apparently, 23 after my card had been charged, those 4 puzzles could finally be placed in a box and shipped. Will we get these for Christmas. Who knows?

I have looked into the refund check and from all of our records it was processed and sent out on January 9, 2014, since the customer has not received it I have contacted our accounting department and I have requested they void the refund and send out a new check.
