 I've contacted Black Opal Cosmetics twice on social media  (through Instagram's DM method) and informed them that I still haven't received my missing Total Coverage Concealer. I was informed by a rep that it would be mailed out on that Monday  (the convo happened on a Friday I believe) but as of today, August *, 2016, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY missing product. These convos took place in mid to late July. Can someone please contact them again? At this point, I don't know what else to do. It's not even about the money anymore, it's the principle.

This company basically has no customer service. On multiple occasions I've called and emailed and have received no answer or return correspondence. I ordered some products and paid extra for expedited shipping and I ended up having to take off from work in order to receive the package because they put an obligatory adult signature requirement on a shipment containing shaving cream and skin moisturizer. I was not able to contact the shipper to waive the signing or change the shipping address. [redacted] was very helpful and available to schedule a day that I could take off to receive the shipment and I've yet to receive one return call or email from Black Opal. This is subpar for any company and their customer service is nonexistent. Customers should be aware.

Review: I purchased products from the company via their website on March [redacted] and received the items approximately a week later. Some of the products were not to my liking and I returned them following the return policy instructions precisely. The [redacted] tracking system alerted me that the products were received by Black Opal on March [redacted]. I contacted the customer service department via email on April [redacted] to inquire about a refund for my return. I was told that they would check on the status of my refund on April [redacted]. After not hearing from them I sent another email on April [redacted] and was told that they did receive my return and to allow 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect on my account. Seven business days have now passed and I still have not received a refund. I contacted them via email today, April [redacted], and have expressed my frustration and disappointment with their business practices. I also notified them that I will be contacting the Revdex.com to report the poor service regarding their refund process.Desired Settlement: I simply want a refund for the two products that I returned. I will no longer do business with this company in order to avoid this type of situation again.

Review: I placed an online order on January **. The order was received on February * but there was an item missing. I emailed customer service that night to advise. I received a response the next business day acknowledging the error and confirming that the product would be sent via [redacted] "signature required". I provided a daytime address for [redacted] delivery (different from address where original order was shipped).......and waited. After several days, I contacted customer service inquiring about status of the delivery to which I received no response. I even gave a time allowance/delay for severe winter weather along the east coast. After several unanswered calls to customer service and now several weeks, the company still has not contacted me. I called yet again on March * and finally reached a company rep who informed me that the product was already shipped via [redacted], verified that it was sent to the wrong address, and though apologetic, said she was couldn't to do anything about it. I told her I wanted a refund because this had gone on too long and I was no longer interested in the product. [redacted] did attempt delivery but they had the incorrect address. It is now March ** and I still don't have my refund, but more importantly, no follow-up from the company. I simply want my money refunded.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of $9.95 and no further contact from business.

Review: I PLACED AN ORDER ON LINE AT BLACK OPAL.COM ON 06/**/2015 THE ITEMS WHERE RETURNED BECAUSE I MOVED AND THE POSTAL SERVICE DID NOT FORWARD THE ITEMS TO MY NEW ADDRESS. INSTEAD, THE ORDER WAS RETURNED BACK TO BLACK OPAL IN LONG ISLAND AS PER THE TRACKING INFORMATION OBTAINED ON [redacted] . UPON NOTICING THIS MISHAP I IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY BLACK OPAL TO RESEND THE ORDER TO MY NEW ADDRESS. THE CORRESPONDENCE WERE ACCOMPANIED BY EMAIL AND NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS WHICH WERE TO NO AVAIL. I NEVER RECEIVE A PHONE CALL OR EMAIL TO ACKNOWLEGE THEY RECEIVED MY MESSAGES. THE FINAL EMAIL WAS SENT ON 08/**/2015 WHICH STATED THAT I NO LONGER HAVE ANY INTEREST IN THEIR PRODUCT AND PLEASE SUBMIT A REFUND BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD. I STILL DID NOT RECEIVE A REPLY.Desired Settlement: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF A REPUTABLE BUSINESS TO RESPOND TO A CUSTOMER IN A PROMPT AND TIMELY MANNER TO RESOLVE ANY ISSUE. I DO NOT WANT THE ITEMS. I SIMPLY DESIRE A REFUND BECAUSE A OF THE TOTAL DISREPECT THAT WAS DISPLAYED.

Customer Service contacted the customer on 9/**/15 and offered a full refund in the amount of $68.00. The customer accepted and the refund was processed.

Review: I ordered 3 items from them on 12/**/2015. On 12/**/2015 I received shipping confirmation, then on 12/**/2015 I receive a refund email. Without any explanation why the item wasn't shipped and it was the main product I wanted. 12/**/2015 I finally received the two items that I wasn't found of receiving. I returned the items with tracking and they were received by Black Opal on 12/**/2015. Today is 01/**/2016 and I still haven't been refunded for the unopened items that I returned to them.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the Unopened items that I returned to them.

Review: I placed an order for foundation, concealer and finishing powder. My total came to $28.15. I received my order and the only thing in the box was the foundation and the concealer. I did not receive my finishing powder, but I was charged for all three products. The finishing powder is highlighted on the order confirmation I received in the box. I have tried calling Black Opal a numerous amount of times, but I keep getting transferred to a voicemail that I am unable to leave a voicemail, because the mailbox is full.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for the product I did not received. Or I would like my product sent to me overnight.

Review: I ordered from this company on January [redacted] . I received confirmation of the order as well as shipping information. Everything seemed as if it was moving along smoothly. However, I have never received the products .the shipping process suddenly stopped and it was being returned to the shipper. I logged in to my account with this company and confirmed that the shipping address was correct. I emailed and called (left a voicemail) hoping to be able to resold this issue before the end of the day and before my items were returned. I never received a call back or email . I have called (and left messages when the mailbox was not full) and emailed numerous times. I have only received one email back asking for the order number ,which I provided in the reply. It has been close to a month and I have yet to hear from this company regarding these products. or my money.veDesired Settlement: I would Like my products or my money refunded . And that a better customer service is developed .
