Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:this is NOT a protected HIPPA violation/complaint! This is a complaint of a switch and bait billing scheme!Because of their gross negligence in “protecting” my identity during the initial application process it has resulted in my identity being compromised as admitted through their recent class action lawsuit!!! This review is directed specifically towards the fitness program they offerFor starters, it is expensive and quite pointless unless you use multiple gyms for some reason because if you only use one gym, say LA Fitness or Anytime fitness you are essentially paying the same price as you would be for a membershipMaybe difference? The main part of my review though is on how shady their terms and conditions are with this programI would suggest reading this closely before signing upIn order to cancel you have to actually call them manually, even if you no longer actually have health insurance with Blue Cross because you have canceled it, this fitness program will keep charging your card for up to months, even if you aren't eligible for the program anymore, this is really just a way for them to get money, sneakily without making it obvious in my opinionThey are misleading about this and don't tell you up frontDespite how misleading they are about this, they won't refund youIt's not "their policy"Their immediate response when you call to ask for a refund for the months they unfairly charged you for a program you can no longer use, is to remind you this was in the terms and conditions, so tough luckNo refundBe carefulPersonally in a nutshell, I feel his program really doesn't provide as many discounts as they like to advertiseThere are hidden fees and hidden terms and conditions in fine print

The plan that I currently have only consists of adult medical and child dental coverageI do not have any children; I am unsure why this plan was includedThe first time I brought my issue to a representatives attention it was a hassle to obtain instructions to resolve the issueAfter speaking with multiple representatives I was instructed to contact the rep that signed me up for the plan to change the plan; if he made an error he could correct itI was given the contact information for the rep that signed me up for the plan, however, he is no longer employed with the companyAfter calling the rep and receiving no luck, I requested to speak to a managerThe manager informed me that the rep was no longer employed and that she would pass *** request to pull the call to ensure that I did not request the plan included on my planI wai

I am rejecting this response because: unlike it stated in the response sent to the Revdex.com, no representative from the Insurance company has contacted me about addressing the complaint I have filedI have neither received a call, text or email from anyone
from BlueCross or BlueShield of Illinois Once again this entire situation began when BlueCross and BlueShield verbally authorized for my physician to send me for a colorectal cancer exam/screening and upon billing them for their portion of the coverage they are now stating that they will not pay any portion of the billed amount as it is not something they will authorize BlueCross and BlueShield never communicated with myself or my physician that they had changed their minds prior to myself being sent for the exam By reaching out to the insurance company directly and receiving verbal authorization from them my physician did her best to ensure that this exam would be covered before sending me My physician even tried contacting the insurance provider again directly after the invoice was created and they informed her that they would not cover it after allI have attached a copy of the letter and the medical bill I receivedI am not asking for anything that is outrageous simply for BlueCross and BlueShield to cover their portion which they originally had approved and gave the go ahead to I thank you in advance for your time and help in this matter.
