Date Sent: 6/7/3:52:PMTwo Men and a Truck have sent a man to repair the washerThank you for your help.
Regards,
*** ***

Mr*** we apologize for not getting the damage to your yard handled in a timely manner. All Two Men and a Truck locations are independently owned and operated. After review of your complaint, I was able to determine that *** ***'s move was handled by the Cincinnati West
location not the *** ** location. I was able to reach out to the Cincinnati West location and have been advised that Greg and Morgan have set an appointment with you to repair the damage on Monday March 12. Again, I do apologize for the confusion and please let us know if their is anything else we can do for you

We apologize for the lack of response from Rickey A***. We have tried to reach out to *** several times since the complaint was received to collect additional information regarding the pieces that were damaged during the move. We would also like to offer to have our Master
Carpenter go out to handle any repairs to her house from the move. We would be happy to resolve this with ***. We need receipts or where the pieces that were damaged were purchased so we can reimburse *** accordingly. Again, we apologize that ***'s concerns and damages were not handled quickly but we will be happy to get this handled promptly

Two men and a truck refunded me dollarsI am not happy with this amountThe total is now dollars which is still almost double my estimateI believe this issue could have been avoided if they had sent the appropriate size truckAs for the inventory they are claiming they recieved from me that is incorrectI gave them a specific inventory of all of my pieces including multiple boxesThe staff at this office has been rude and difficult to work with during this processI had to call the cooporate office to finally get a hold of the branch manager Phil

On
February 17, 2015, two managers went to meet with Mr*** at his
residence. He advised us that we would not be moving all his
belongings. We compiled a list of items going to storage and a list of
items going to his new residence. The customer service
rep entered
all the information into the system and advised Mr***
it would be trucks and men and emailed him a copy of the estimate.
Mr*** advised the rep that he would not need trucks as he was
only hiring Two Men and a Truck to move his
items going to storage not to his new residence. The rep then removed
all the items going to his new residence and completed a revised
estimate of items only being moved to storage. This is the estimate
that Mr*** is referring to for $1332.92. It was
at least a month between the time this estimate was given and when Mr
*** booked his move with us. The final estimate provided to Mr
*** was to move items to storage only. On the day of the move we
moved items to storage and to his new residence.
Mr*** is correct that we did have both addresses on the pre-move
letter he received as we originally had planned on moving items to both
locations. The address to the new residence was not removed but Mr
*** was advised to review the updated estimate
which shows that the items being taken to the new residence were no
longer on the estimate
On the day of the move, the lead crew member, advised Mr*** that
the move would take trucks if everything was being moved and the
estimated time would be more then originally estimated. Mr***
opted to proceed with his move. Due to hours of service
restrictions, the unload of the second truck was completed the next
day, again Mr*** was in agreement. The hourly rate that Mr***
agreed to did not change. Mr*** was present for the entire move
and aware of the time it was taking to move all
his belongings.
At this time, we are not providing a refund of services to Mr***,
as he was advised prior to the move and on the day of the move that if
he wished for all his belongings to be moved it would take trucks and
men. Based on the information provided to
Mr.***, if we moved only the items going to storage as he originally
said, the estimated time and cost would have been accurate

We stand firm on our investigation that we are not liable for the damage to the storage unit. We confirmed with Mr*** that he and our crew saw no damage to the storage unit prior to leaving. This was confirmed again recently. Since Milford Storage Unit decided to not further
investigate this damage and decided we were responsible and has refused Mr.*** access to his unit until paid, we have agreed to pay the $being requested. I have called Milford Storage and they advised Mr.*** paid the $500. We will contact Mr*** and send him a check for $500. Just to reiterate Two Men and a Truck is not stating we are responsible for the damage to the storage unit

The day we moved Ms***, our movers called the Franchise Manager to seek advice on her Refrigerator. It was too large to be removed from the home without being disassembled. I told them that we could remove the doors but because we are not appliance professionals we would not be
able to disconnect/reconnect any water or electric lines (It is against company policy to disconnect any water, gas, or electric). Ms*** was extremely upset about this and in an effort to accommodate her needs I called my Operations Manager (James ***) out to that move. I gave him permission to depart from our policy and disconnect any lines necessary in order to get her refrigerator safely to the new home. James was able to get the refrigerator moved with a technique we call "Butterflying". The door did not have to be removed, in fact we only removed the handles to the refrigerator. James then instructed the movers to take minutes off this customers bill due to the length of time they spent assessing the situation. James also spent some time helping load some of this customers other items at no charge. This move was estimated - hours based on the inventory list provided by Ms***. Ms*** received both the estimate and pre-move confirmation which confirms both the inventory and details of the move. Ms*** was estimated at 33% of a 26' Truck and we filled an entire 22' truck with her household goods, which means many more items were moved than what was mentioned on the inventory provided to us. The movers took hours of downtime in total for this move, billing for a total of hours. We feel this is very fair based on the amount of items moved. We were unaware of any damages on this move and would be happy to contract *** *** (at our expense) to clean her mattress at a time that's convenient

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In the response from the company it states: "The customer service
rep entered all the information into the system and advised Mr***
it would be trucks and men and emailed him a copy of the estimate." I have never seen a nor do I have in my possession an email from the sales rep with anything that states trucks and men were neededI would appreciated seeing this document. The response states: "Mr*** advised the rep that he would not need trucks as he was
only hiring Two Men and a Truck to move his
items going to storage not to his new residence." This is blatant lieI never had a conversation regarding trucks and men because I was never told this was necessary nor did I receive a written estimateI have attached the only estimate sent to me.The response states: "The rep then removed
all the items going to his new residence and completed a revised
estimate of items only being moved to storage." Once, again I only have one estimate that was sent to me via email on March I would appreciated seeing the original estimateThe response states: "On the day of the move, the lead crew member, advised Mr*** that
the move would take trucks if everything was being moved and the
estimated time would be more then originally estimated." Again, this is blatant lieI was never told it would take trucksThe only concern expressed by the the lead crew member was whether my belongings would all fit into the 10'X25' storage unit I had rentedThere was no discussion about the move taking longer until later in the day, when the truck filled up (around 2pm) and they had to make an unscheduled run to storage. In fact, after the move was over, the driver tried to get me to initial a document indicating that I had been notified that the move would take extra time above the estimateHowever, I refused to initial it because that conversation never took placeThe driver then called the office to make sure that it was ok I did not initialHe was told that was okI will provide that document at your requestHowever, I know the company has a copy of it and will know exactly what I am referring to.The response states: "The final estimate provided to Mr
*** was to move items to storage only." What final estimate are they referring to? I only have one estimate in my possessionWere there three estimates (an original, an amended, and a final?) If there is another, I would appreciated seeing itThe response states: "On the day of the move we
moved items to storage and to his new residence.
Mr*** is correct that we did have both addresses on the pre-move
letter he received as we originally had planned on moving items to both
locations. The address to the new residence was not removed but Mr
*** was advised to review the updated estimate
which shows that the items being taken to the new residence were no
longer on the estimate." Again, where is the updated estimate? As you can see, the company continues to use hearsay and refer to documents they have never shared with meI have attached the following documents for your perusal: 1) Pre-move letter containing the cost and time estimate and the two stops we agreed to;2) The only estimates I received from the companyOne is for packing up the kitchen and the other is for moving my belongs; and3) Two documents of correspondence I had with *** *** while I was trying to resolve this issue outside of the the Revdex.comYou will notice they were initially blaming this on me "adding" a second stopHowever, the documents I provided clearly show they were in agreement with both stopsI would appreciate seeing the documents they referred to in their responseRegards,

There have been several delays in the process of settling your claim which were beyond our control and required a greater amount of patience than from all parties involved. I am sorry that we have been unable to meet your expectations so far. We are continuing to work
diligently toward a resolution and we will communicate any further developments as soon as possible

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] To present documentation on "move day" is not the best time to cover this type of information. In our case, we were not entirely ready for the move. Upon arrival, I explained to the movers that we were not ready and we would have to do the move "on the fly". I do not recall covering the three options listed as to which coverage to select. I suspect the initials on the minimal coverage are not mine. However I can not prove or disprove this. I have looked at the Revdex.com reviews on this company and am quite surprised at what was found. There have been complaints filed. In all cases, the Revdex.com has sided with the company. I do not expect there to be any difference in my case. Obviously, Two Men & A Truck has the documentation to support their offer. That aside, it seems to me the company would do what is right in taking care of a customer. As I stated in my original complaint, I have been in various businesses for years and I have never seen anything as poor as this event take place. When a customer has a legitimate issue, the company resolves the issue despite self-made loop holes to hide behind. I thank you for your time and consideration. I will continue to devote time to illuminating the practice this company uses and hopefully any potential customer will give strong consideration to our events before employing this service.

I was told the glass company made the piece and then it brokeThey were in process of making t again Why make this up when there is no effort to resolve replacing glass? This piece of furniture has been in family generations and is only worth $6.00? I want the glass piece replaced as they said they would do from the beginning

*** *** response:
March our office conducted a move for *** ***During
the course of the move we transported a flat screen television, which was not
in its original caseIn accordance with Two Men and Truck policy we will
request a release of liability prior to
moving flat screen televisions, because
of their temperamental disposition outside of their original case. *** *** signed the release of liability,
which makes Two Men and Truck not liable for any damages during the transport
After receiving *** *** signature we conducted the move
When *** *** plugged the television in at his current
residence the television was found not to be functioning properly*** ***
then proceeded to reach out to our office seeking a replacement for his
televisionWe then opened an investigation and performed our due diligence, as
we do for all claimsAs a result of our investigation we came to the
conclusion, we are not responsible for the televisionCiting the signed
release of liability
*** *** was then offered the valuation of cents per
pound, as token of our good faith, which he promptly declined*** *** was
very adamant that we fully replace the television
Moreover, *** *** is currently disputing his credit charges
which freezes the process of the claim, as stated on the pre-move confirmation
letter: “No damage claims will be honored until the charges for moving services
have been paid in full.”
In closing the offer of cents per pound still stands, in
which *** *** could use for the purchase of a similar television

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company is correct in that my mother, [redacted], was the client; however, I dealt with the company during the day of the move.  The company does not acknowledge that they left us at the home with a basement full of items yet to be moved.  We were told that the move would not take longer than six hours and hired the movers to be there at 8 am and finished by 2 pm.  They arrived at 9 am.  Yes, we did sign for them to take longer when the gentleman told me that they could not finish in 6 hours; however this was very inconvenient and unprofessional due to the new tenants being there at 2 pm to take occupancy.  At 5 pm, the move was still not complete and they left to take the items to the new home.  We were stuck trying to find out how to get everything else out of the home.  In addition, I only signed for damages to a kitchen table.  I did not sign for damages on the bed or the secretary.  If there is paperwork including signatures for those items, they are forged.  We denied for them to repair any damages due to not trusting the company.  I would just like this documented so that no one has to endure what we went through.Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As for the refrigerator, the door that holds the components of the ice maker was not removed.  It didn't have to be, because it's tied to the refrigerator.  The only door removed was the freezer door.  On a French door refrigerator, the freezer is at the bottom and has no connection to the water lines whatsoever.  Your manager was supposed to come and put that door on at the new place.  According to your staff, he showed up to drop off straps.  Right now, we have to call the company to have the door removed and put back on correctly, as your staff did not do that.
I find it difficult to believe that it takes 6 1/2 hours to move a 1 bedroom.  Yes, the home had 3 bedrooms, but there was no big furniture in those rooms-just a chair in each room and one small desk.  The move was from one ranch style home to another. Also, the fact that a very large item was  left at the previous home, where we had to rent a dolly to go back and retrieve.  We also had to gather more people to assist in getting the large box of wood, being that myself nor my husband are able to lift.Reimburse me, and I can pay to have the mattress cleaned myself.
