Bob Evans uses a third party vendor for our gift card purchases. The third-party vendor informed the guest that the transaction was declined and that her card was not charged. Our Gift Card team here at the corporate office has also informed the guest of this and we have sent some gift
certificates to her for this inconvenience

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me

Energy Services is very sorry to hear the problem is still happeningHowever, EnergyServices is not going to fix a leak caused by the chimney, not the roof, and was not partof the work write up to begin withEnergy Services has been doing high quality worksince & we go above and beyond to
ensure a quality job is done.As stated by the homeowner this was a project funded by CDBG (block grant)In theseprojects we receive a work write up for the contractors to bid off ofThe contractors are tobid off of the work write up(I will attach the work write up)No where in the work write updid it talk about re-doing or fixing the chimneyAt the time of bid we did add to remove 1chimney because it was in bad shape and nothing was going through the chimneyThechimney we are talking about though had to stay up because the boiler was runningthrough itSo removing it was not an option. We were awarded the job & did the jobIt did pass inspection & was completedWe didnot hear anything for over a yearThe program has a year workmanship warranty, wehave a year workmanship warranty, & the state has a year workmanship warranty. After a years time however we received a call and sent one of our guys out there to lookat no questions askedIf it was something on our end we wanted it fixed and corrected. When we got there, there were ice dams forming, so we removed & tarred up a littlearound the chimneyTwo weeks later we received a call stating it was leaking again, soagain we sent someone out there again to take a look atThis time we wanted to inspectall areas to see what might be causing the leakAt that time it was clearly the chimney. The grout was missing in areas & there was no chimney topper on itAfter talking withthe homeowner about, we found out a new boiler got put in & they didn’t put in a chimneylinerFirst of all we recommended a liner got put in to stop the chimney from gettingworsePlus we said the chimney needed a lot of attentionWe recommended filling in allmissing mortar along with removing loose mortar & filling in, installing a chimney topper,& counter flash the chimneyChimneys are a huge problem and require a lot of attention. In many cases we remove chimneys because of maintenance required to chimneys. So in all we have sent different crews there to inspect different times at no chargeafter the year warranty periodAll three times our guys were instructed to take care ofanything wrong that was because of something we did causing the roof to leakAll timewe came up with reasons why it is leaking & it wasn’t because of the roof installPlus itwasn’t because of something we didn’t do that was on the work write-up.After inspecting we were willing to get her an estimate to fix & do the repairs needed, however, the home owner expected us to fix the leak (that was coming from the chimney)at our expense when the chimney had nothing to do with the work order.Sincerely,**

Yes I do want it to go forth. They still owe me money that has been taken from me that I have earned in tips. The sad part about it is that I didn't keep up with tips from my first day of employment . But I do know that it's not right. And I do believe something should be done. I have quit there...

because of this and you may use my name.  I just don't want it to happen to someone else although I still have some of there employees coming to me and telling me it is even though I'm no longer employed there.

Thank you for taking the time to contact our Corporate Office regarding your visit to Bob Evans Restaurant #343 (Pickerington, OH) on March 15th, 2015.  I apologize for the time it has taken for this issue to be addressed.  Risk Mgmt. became aware of the incident on July 29th, 2015; when we were forwarded the letter Consumer Relations received from the Revdex.com.  Upon receipt, I contacted the location and requested an online report be submitted for your son’s incident; the requested report was received August 3rd, 2015.I understand from the report Risk Mgmt. received, your son suffered a severe allergic reaction after eating Grilled Chicken; which required the use of an Epi-pen, followed by a trip to the hospital for additional medical treatment.  The report also states the Server was made aware of your son’s allergy prior to the order being taken.  Unfortunately, it appears that information was not relayed to the kitchen staff.  We at Bob Evans, are very concerned with the well-being of our customers and take this type of incident very seriously.  The management team at the Pickerington, OH restaurant understands the importance of customer safety and have agreed to address this incident with their employees; in hopes this will prevent similar customer incidents in the future.I will need copies of all related medical treatment notes and out-of-pocket expenses (e.g.: co-pays, deductibles, prescription costs, etc.), for compensation evaluation.  I will review your claim once all requested information is received and will contact you to discuss an agreeable resolution. Please accept my sincere apology for this unfortunate incident. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or concerns you may have.  Thank you,

Thanks [redacted] - I am working with our HR team and Payroll department to get this resolved.  I will send an update once I have all the information.  The plan is for someone to reach out to Ms. [redacted] and disuss.  Thanks, [redacted]
