My family and I will never do business with this dealership againWorst car buying experience I've ever hadThe salesmen did not try to work with me in a pleasant mannerThey wanted to benefit themselves solely and made no attempts to meet me halfwayThey implied that my car was a POS and that theirs was goldThey told my father no for every reasonable request he madeI've never been so upset or angry after a car buying experience

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The business has replied with the same comments that they provided the first time Sincerely, [redacted]

I purchased a pre-owned Lincoln from Bob Rohman of Schaumburg, IL on 9/26/plus an additional extended warranty - Autoguard for $ I traded that vehicle in on 3/9/and returned to Bob Rohman Lincoln on 4/22/2016, presented proof of the new purchase, completed paperwork for the cancellation of the Autoguard extended warranty, made sure they had all of my updated contact information I was informed it would take 6-weeks for the refund of the remaining, unused balance to be refunded to me which would be via check in the mail In July I called and spoke to the highly rude and unhelpful finance manager, [redacted] and was the same gentleman who sold me the warranty, and explained it was well past the weeks, I had not received the refund and who could I contact to look into this His response was literally, "there's no one to talk to If the paperwork went to the office, then they're working on it and you'll get it once it's processed." I've called since and have lef

I went up to this dealership in November of and bought a used Kia with original milesDuring the test drive, the salesman took me on a route that did not include the interstate, just local roads, and speeds never exceeded 40mphUpon the salesman exiting the car, a piece of the door handle fell offDuring the buying process, they advised that the cars warranty started in February of I asked how that was possible, if technically I'm the first actual owner.(The first owner was a Auction Company that bought it in Oct2018), so I asked how the warranty started so earlythey had no answerThe sales manager was getting a little ticked off and started striking an attitude with meI requested a General Manager, and the sales manager kept saying they were all busy.(they were all in the break room I found out, great customer service, huh?) Anyways, I then bought the carI live hours away from the dealership, so I had to take the interstate homeUpon entering the interstate going speeds above 70mph, the car had a vibration problem, and also after applying any brake pressure, the car shook vigorouslyThose two things tell me that it either had flat spots on the tires from sitting, or the wheels needed rebalanced, and also that the rotors needed replaced.(they say it went through a full used car inspection) I called the dealership and spoke to the sales manager, and he advised to have me turn around and he will have his service department look at it, I said that I had to be home for a meeting, and told him that he needs to figure out what needs to happen, because I would not be paying for itHe then hung up because I was getting an attitude because I just bought a $60,car that needs service alreadyTwo weeks later, I take it back up to the dealership(hour drive), and they sent me home with a loaner.(another hour drive) It was up there weeks, and was only worked on for two of those daysAlso, the General Manager failed to give me Daily updates, as I requested, about my carThey brought my car back home(another hour drive) and I was so excited to drive my car I didn't even look at the exteriorI hopped and drove around my townUpon driving around town, I noticed when I applied brake pressure, there was a very loud thumping noise in the front left tire, and also scraping noises coming from the rearAfter getting out and further investigating, all four rims were missing chrome off of them, so I called up there or different times(throughout the day) to speak with the general manager I have been dealing with, and I was told he was "with a customer" or "in a meeting"The next day, I finally got ahold of someone, and they came and got my car about one week later, ( keep in mind, my car was not drivable, and I told them they need to have It towed up thereThey didn't listen.) They brought down the same loaner, and took my car back up thereThis time they properly fixed my brakes, and said that there was nothing they could do about my rims, because it wasn't their faultThey said that their tire machine doesn't physically touch the rimThe guy even took it to the Kia dealership, and according to their service manager, it is a common problem for Kia's chrome rims to peel like that So I decided to call KiaUpon calling Kia, I told the woman ever single thing that has happened to me in the past two monthsThe car is currently in the hands of Kia, trying to figure out a couple more problems with the car, one of those problems being the rimsI hope the warranty will cover the rims, if it is Kia's problem, if not then I'm not sure what ill do next If it was new, it would be considered a Lemon, that's for sure Moral of the long story, I will never give this dealership another good review for as long as I liveThey have constantly treated me like crap since day one, and they seemed like the never valued me as a customer, and they were just there for the moneyI hope if something comes out of this review, it's that that you will never buy a car hereStick to your local dealerships!

9pt;"> I spoke with [redacted] on about his concerns on the humming noise, before I spoke with him I pulled his files on the vehicleHe is correct in one aspect that we had the vehicle in on a few occasions for service workMy question to [redacted] yesterday was why have you waited for over months to call about the continued humming? His response was that he had to save for tires and finally had them replaced months ago, the vehicle still had the humming noise after the tire replacement With this being said I asked him again why he waited another months to call on his concern about the humming noise, [redacted] didn’t have a good reasonI offered to look at the vehicle again and explained to [redacted] that I would not waive the deductable of $ The previous Service Manager went above and beyond more then once; it looks like he waived the deductable a few timesI also explained to [redacted] that he is more then welcome to bring the vehicle in to an authorized Nissan dealer because the warranty he purchased is good at that dealership as wellHe was refusing that option because he doesn’t want to pay the deductable of $The only reason he wants to bring the vehicle back here is because he doesn’t want to pay the deductable I explained to [redacted] the long delay on calling on the humming noise is concerning and he should have called immediately before or after he replaced the tires to reschedule an appointment If you need anymore assistance please feel free to contact meThank you, [redacted] Service Director [redacted] ***

When I test drive the *** I noticed it shook a little when at a stop I mentioned if to the sales manager, he said it was because it was sitting awhile The *** continued to shake, so I brought it to service I was told the very car I bought the day before needed maintenanceand it was MY responsibility The issue with the engine shaking should have been resolved when the car was inspected The General manager said , " I don't know what you have been doing with the car, you have been driving it since Friday." It was one of the RUDEST remarks I ever heard ! I am the customer and I was told it was my problem I specifically asked my salesman if all maintenance had been performed He said yesHe lied The wipers are shot, and the battery needs to be replaced The remote is hesitant Even the sunroof is slowing down when closingFinancing also pulled a fast one added an Etching fee to my sale Per the *** ***, the etching was done by the dealer October It should be included in the negotiated sale priceIt should not be added as a Mandatory feeOn the sales slip “Etching” was not selected I asked why the sales contract did not reflect my negotiated price, I was told the additional I was a "mandatory" fee Bob Rohrman adds to all his cars Looking at the disclaimer, it states I have the right to WAIVE the coverage How can I waive something they added months prior to my sale? The Etching sales slip reads “the sale of the car is not dependent up on having it etched " Rocco the finance guy said all their cars are etched If all the cars are Etched, it should be included in the sale price, not added on after negotiation The Revdex.com warns buyers the Scams financing departments use to make a profit I didn't find out till it was too lateAdditionally, I was told my finance rate was dependent upon getting an extended warranty I was looking at the extended warranty and research of for rates that would be dependent upon extended warranties The answer is no Interest rates are based solely on credit score, and not extended warranty
It is plainly obvious the Manager Marcel does not care about the customer When I brought up how the car shook, not only did he say , “I don’t know what you did to the car over the weekend”, He said, “The car is yours now, I’m not taking it back I bought an extended bumper to bumper warranty… the warranty that he said that will cover EVERYTHING, but hoses I was told it would not cover the engine shake I took the car to Jeep, and they told me there was an issue with either the PCV valve, a dirty coil, or spark plugs Marcel said they wouldn’t cover any of it This tells me two things, maintenance was not done on the car to ready it for sale, and the warranty I bought is useless I was sold a jeep that should not have passed inspection Wipers should pass, battery should pass, the engine should pass I was lied to by the salesman and Marcel

Once again, I do apoligize for any inconvenience this may have caused *** *** We will take a look at the vehicle again and apply whatever deductible that applies to the vehicle warranty
Thank you,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
This is the same answer that you already gave meI do not feel that I should pay another deductible for a problem that your technicians causedMy argument is that you created this problem, why am I paying for it? If the vehicle came back to me fully repaired then your job is doneIt did not, so you are still responsible to fully repair my vehicleIt threw up a red flag when you initially had my vehicle for daysI gave you the vehicle with one problem and it came back to me with a completely separate issue, why is that my responsibility to pay the deductible again? You create the problem then you should fix it

him I pulled his files on the vehicleHe is correct in one aspect that we had
the vehicle in on a few occasions for service workMy question to *** ***
yesterday was why have you waited for
over months to call about the continued
humming?
His response was that
he had to save for tires and finally had them replaced months ago, the vehicle
still had the humming noise after the tire
replacement
With this being said
I asked him again why he waited another months to call on his concern about
the humming noise, *** *** didn’t have a good reasonI offered to look at
the vehicle again and explained to *** *** that I would not waive the
deductable of $
The previous Service
Manager went above and beyond more then once; it looks like he waived the
deductable a few timesI also explained to *** *** that he is more then
welcome to bring the vehicle in to an authorized Nissan dealer because the
warranty he purchased is good at that dealership as wellHe was refusing that
option because he doesn’t want to pay the deductable of $The only reason
he wants to bring the vehicle back here is because he doesn’t want to pay the
deductable
I explained to *** *** the long delay on calling on the humming noise is concerning and he
should have called immediately before or after he replaced the tires to
reschedule an appointment

I purchased my new vehicle the beginning of December The dealership took weeks to send out the payoff from my trade in and during the wait the payoff went upConsumers Credit Union who financed my trade in did not receive the pay off until 01/04/This issue also affected my credit and it is now showing that I am behind on payments, i've made the finance manager awareOn 01/06/I was notified that there was a remaining balance due to the fact that the payoff had went up while CCU were waiting on payoffI called and spoke with the finance manager Danny, he asked me to send an email with the amount that was remaining on the account and he would get it taken care ofThe amount that was due was good through 1/18/I called everyday to follow up left messages and did not receive a call backEmails were also sent and I never got a reply backI also spoke with their general manager Jay who told me that the payoff had been sent out already, he also told me this with the

I drove from northwest Indiana to look at and or purchase what I was told was a new Lincoln mkz, upon arrival they brought the car up to the front for me to see,but to my surprise it was a demo or a loaner car with over 12,on it and also had door dings and lower front scrapes to the facia from hitting parking stops I hate to be misled I wish they would have been honest and I would not have made the trip, so people beware and ask the questions before going like the mileage

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU STEP FOOT INTO BOB ROHRMAN SCHAUMBURG LINCOLN DEALERSHIPI DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO GO THROUGH THE YEARS OF HELL I WENT THROUGH THE REVOLVING DOOR OF GENERAL MANAGERS, THE LIES AND COVERING UP THAT GOES ON AT THIS DEALERSHIPIn Feb I leased an MKX from Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Lincoln dealership for years I was promised a check for $(difference from my trade-in) due back to me within a week It took me hounding the general manager for weeks and phycially going into the dealership to get my check As well as them paying off the last two payments on the vehicle I had traded in The following spring (2017) I had problems with my moonroof which took months, different service managers and general managers to get this fixed Just short of two years into the lease we get a summons to appear in court for parking tickets, towing and storage fees (over $2000.00) on the vehicle we had traded in for the MKXSo back to the Schaumburg Lincoln dealership again and dealing with yet another new general manager to get this summons taken care of and paperwork to prove to the attorney we traded it in Few months later I had problems with the front passenger doorI had it in times and still it wasn't fixedI ran out of patience and just gave up trying to get it fixedNow I am at the end of my lease and was told by a salesman that I can return my MKX months earlyWhen I went to turn in the leased vehicle the 40th general manager, (since 2008) I find out that they gave me a month lease instead of a month lease and the only way you can turn the lease in months earlier is to go with another Lincoln vehicleAfter explaining everything to the general manage, Tobin said he felt bad about my experience and would like to make good in the hopes to earn my business backHe verbally and through text told me he would give me a check for of the payments due and have Ford pick up oneNeedless to say I never received the checkWhen I called to follow up I found out Tobin no longer worked thereI tried to contact headquarters via Bob ***'s website with no response After making many calls I was given the names of Mark ***, Director of GovAffairs and Ryan ***, the grandson of Bob *** I reached out by phone and email only to get radio silence!
