Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is narrowly satisfactory to meThe email from BOLT somehow negates the fact that BOLT was responsible for the error that put my policy in danger of being canceled in the first place I had to call several times over several days to resolve the issue even though it was not my fault that the policy was overdue rather it was the error of one of BOLT's employees It would have alleviated a lot of stress for me if BOLT would have just resolved the issue between themselves, the finance company and the actual insurance agency rather than have me be stuck in the middle making several frustrating phone calls to the three different entities managing this policy.I will not be continuing my relationship with BOLT once my term is up While there is a small handful of good employees there who were willing to help (after I had to get very angry and frustrated over the phone), my overall experience with BOLT was poor and I will be happy to find another insurance agent who practices outstanding customer service and takes responsibility for their errors in the near future Sincerely, [redacted]

The General Liability policy Mr& Mrs*** are disputing is a direct bill policyAny refund or returned premium decisions are made by the carrier, *** *** *** *** directlyAt this time because coverage was in force and active for the time period 09/01/through 03/14/a full refund cannot be issuedAs Mr& Mrs*** Agency, BOLT Insurance Agency did try and negotiate the policy to be either reinstated or rewritten to provide coverageOur requests were declined by the carrier as currently Mr& Mrs***' business cannot provide the required information in regards to the insured location and a valid *** license with the State of ***
The reason for cancellation was failure to comply with underwriting guidelines, more specifically with concerns raised during the inspection of the property and businessNotices were sent to Mr& Mrs*** on both the inspection and the cancellation dates, we have attached those notices for referenceThe inspection requirements required action by the insured and were not issues that BOLT Insurance Agency could rectify without action taken by Mr& Mrs***
At this time, an offer to rewrite coverage once the required State licensing has been secured has been extended to Mr& Mrs***BOLT Insurance Agency did also confirm that Mr& Mrs*** received their refund for the unused premium on the General Liability policyA member of BOLT Insurance Agency management has reached out directly to Mr*** and explained that a full refund cannot be issued, as coverage was in force for several months prior to cancellation

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:this information is a fraud! We were never contacted about our "failure to provide underwriting information"!
The insurance agent and company are responible for all and any underwriting the policyholder not. In six months time we paid premium we never received any noti     sces on anything! This is a scam to take peoples money an not provide service.  Their agent came one time to house never inspected anything made me sign paperwork never gave me a copy and was only here long enough to file out paperwork didnot look at any property? Agent told me I would receive copy of paperwork in few weeks company behind in processing. Fraud answer cause we never paperwork. My huband called several times requesting policy got run around never  received. Six months later with no policy and full premium paid we get cancelation notce due to pond on property we dont have one and never did. We feel this is all a scam and not our fault please get full refund for this inconvenience now we dont have any insurance.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Don't recommend. Communication Bad. The waiting for response, BAD. I am their customer for 3 years I they only communicate through emails. The waiting for response too long. Since they are brokers they say, the have to wait for their response. And this is not for a claim. This is only for renewal. I cant imagine if I have I have a claim. I just change to my house, car insurance company. They responded faster and feel felt more confident about communication with them. I don't think they valued a customer.

On 02/01/2011
a business owners policy for Mr. [redacted] was issued by BOLT Insurance Agency.
At the time of sale BOLT Insurance Agency confirmed that the policy included a
$500 deductible for business personal property per Mr. [redacted] request. The
policy issued by National Fire...

Insurance (CNA) had an exclusion for windstorm
coverage. At the policy renewal effective 02/01/2012 [redacted] (CNA) relaxed their policy terms in the state of MA, offering
windstorm coverage with a $10,000 deductible at no extra charge.
On
04/13/2015 Mr. [redacted] reported a claim which involved damage to his front
door. It was determined by the claims adjustor working for CNA that the damage
was due to a windstorm and therefore the $10,000 dedutcible would apply. At the
time Mr. [redacted] disputed that the damage was from a windstorm and requested
the decision be reviewed. BOLT Insurance Agency spoke with both the claims
adjuster and underwriter but we were unsuccessful in getting the carrier to
reverse their decision on the damage being due to a storm. Since the damage
fell under the deductible limit under the windstorm coverage, the claim was
denied.
In BOLT
Insurance Agency's communication with Mr. [redacted] at no time did we receive a request to amend or alter this added
windstorm coverage. Your policy documents were mailed to you by [redacted](CNA) on 01/31/2011, 12/18/2011, 12/18/2012, 12/18/2013
and 12/18/2014.

On
03/31/2014 BOLT Insurance Agency received a telephone call request to cancel
the Workers Compensation policy for [redacted]. A written...

request to
cancel was sent to the named insured that day, with a request for signature.
When the written request to cancel was returned on 04/01/2014 it was submitted
to the carrier, and a flat cancellation was processed per the insured's
request.
On
04/11/2014 the carrier conducted a payroll audit of the past term on the
Workers Compensation policy, which is an annual practice for all Workers
Compensation policies. During the audit it was determined that one owner of the
LLC had elected to be covered, and the payroll exposure for that owner was
added. This resulted in a back charge for the unreported payroll exposure in
the amount of $263.00.
On
07/07/2014 a manager from BOLT Insurance Agency received the audit dispute from
the named insured and reviewed the file. BOLT Insurance Agency determined that
the unreported payroll was not a fault of the LLC, and has waived any past due
premium amounts. [redacted] owe no additional money to the carrier or
Agency, and the policy remains cancelled.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
