Thank you for listening to the concerns of one of Brown's *** customers. It was brought to our attention about thirty days ago by Janae *** that the registration did not reflect her name. The registration reflected only the name of the co buyer. We apologized for the
confusion and at that time explained that it was input into the online *** system in error. We also conveyed to Ms*** that we would make the necessary correction with ***. I have attached a copy of the corrected title inquiry for your review and *** was to send her the new registration directly. Please let me know should you need anything further.*** ***

*** *** Brown VW statements are not correct. In fact they are mostly false. The vehicle was returned on the 6th at the service department, I noted “return” to *** and Jerry the salesman
along with the keys. I have spent many
hours there at BrownVW weekly attempting to clear up the sale of the
vehicle. I was never given a bill of
sale or a sale agreement The vehicle
was returned, the sale never finalized.
I never supplied pay stubs or any additional proofs to Brown VW, I was
never informed that such was needed. The vehicle cannot be driven with the windows down because
the noise is too distracting. I made
that clear to *** that I prefer to drive with my windows down and the noise
is distracting. I am not satisfied with the vehicle. I only had it for two days and after driving
it for a limited amount of miles I had several problems with the van including
the tires. I don’t feel safe driving the
vehicle. I have a small childI need to
be safe while driving.After many unresponsive calls to ***, I went back to
Brown VW, I was there again for many hours on July 18th. *** was not there at Brown VW on the 18th. The finance man and another manager had not
any paperwork, bill of sale or anything with the specifics about the sale of
the vehicle. I am unsatisfied and never
stated to *** that I was satisfied. When I was called on last week, I was on my job. I asked for my money back

valued customers*** *** purchased a Volkswagen *** on 7/4/here
at Browns Volkswagen in RichmondWe had been working with both mom and
daughter several days before finalizing the deal on 7/04/15. After
working with the
financial institutes for several days, we were finally able to
get an approval that met Ms*** desired monthly payment which, included a
$4,down payment*** drove away in the vehicle on our Dealership Tag
because she was uninsured at that pointWe made it clear to both her and mom
that *** will need full coverage insurance before the deal would be
finalize, which was eventually providedThe vehicle was brought to the Service
Depton 7/6/because of a tire pressure indicator light that had come on
due to the brand new tires that we put on and a sound coming from the rear
when (only) the back windows are down*** dropped off the van along with
other documents that were needed such as pay stubs and proof of residenceWe
tried contacting both mom and daughter for several days while we conducted our
repair on the tire pressure monitoring lightWe finally made connection with
*** , I told her that we will be fixing the issue with the tire and to
come in so we can determine what sound they are experiencing from the back
windows when down because what my technician heard was normal*** and mom
both arrive to the dealership on 7/11/*** *** personally drove
the *** with mom while *** stayed behind at the dealershipMom and ***
drove around on both the highway and in traffic for about minutes to
recreate the sound they were experiencing when the two rear windows are down
and the front driver and passenger are up*** explained to mom what she is
hearing is simply the air amplifying the sound because of the way it is circulating
through the vehicleThe sound went away once we roll down all four windows or
simply just the front twoAfter returning to the dealership *** advised both mom
and *** to ride with him in another minivan that was in our inventory to
see if the same sound occurred when (only) the two rear windows are downThey
agreedThey notice the exact same sound when (only) the two rear windows were
downThey returned to the dealership and both mom and daughter agreed that
there was nothing wrong with the vanThe van remain on our lot because we were
waiting for the New tire pressure sensor to be installBoth mom and daughter
were completely satisfiedBoth left with smiles on their face and in good
spirit We contacted *** and Mom for scheduling a time to
pitheir new vehicle after the repairs were made for the second time
*** and mom return to our dealership on 7/18/to take delivery of the
vehicleBefore driving away in the vehicle, *** discover a small dent on
the car and did not want to take delivery until that was resolved but, said she
was satisfied with everything elseWe took care of the dent on 7/20/and
phoned both parties yet again to come pithe Volkswagen *** and at that
time *** became very hostile*** explained to her that we had
fulfilled every obligation and we had made every effort to satisfy her issues
and concerns. *** said ok and rushed
*** off the phone because she was at work and would call me backWe have yet to hear from her sinceWe have
attempted numerous times to contact *** to come pick up her vehicle with
no success

Thank you for taking the time to listen to our customerOn 1/6/the customer brought their vehicle in to have the check engine light diagnosedWe diagnosed the vehicle to need a PVC valve replacement to fix the problem and the customer agreed to pay to have it fixedOn 3/23/
the customer returned to the dealership with the check engine light back on after 3,milesWe let the customer know that there would be a charge if the check engine light is on for a different reason other than the PVC valve that we had replaced in JanuaryAfter diagnosing the vehicle we found the vacuum pump and rear main seal leaking oilWe advised the customer and offered to repair the vehicle at a discounted price due to the fact that she had just spent $*** in January for an unrelated part going badThe customer agreed and we repaired the vehicleThe customer then called in April to inform me that the vehicle was at another dealership and they had found the car leaking oil at the rear main seal that we had replaced in MarchI informed the customer that the part carried a month/12,mile warranty that was valid at any Volkswagen dealership and I called the Service Manager at West Broad VW where the car was located to help facilitate the warranty process for the customer

Thank you for listening to the concerns of one of Brown's customers. Ms*** initiated a lead with our Internet Department and worked with *** *** on the pricing of the specific car in question. According to Mr***, Ms*** had a trade in with a balance owed that was
more that the value of her car. In the process of speaking with Ms***, Mr*** explained that the banks do not like to consider a loan application that has this "negative equity". As a result, Mr*** showed Ms*** more for her trade than what it was worth and offset this by adding the same amount to the sales price of the desired car to make the deal look better to the potential lender. Doing this would enhance the chances of the bank approving the loan in Ms***'s behalf. I apologize for any misunderstanding in communication with Ms*** but it was in attempt to put her in a better position with the lenders to obtain a bank approval. Thank you for listening to the issues of one of our customers here at Brown's Volkswagen. I have investigated Mr*** concern and found that he wanted to obtain financing with *** *** ***. We offered financing with *** *** *** through Credit Union Direct
Lending (CUDL) as a customer service feature. Mr*** filled out the necessary credit application and it was submitted to *** *** ***. *** *** *** referred the loan to Westlake, a division of *** *** ***, not Brown's, which may be what Mr*** is speaking of. We can not pull someone's credit to secure financing without a signed credit application, please attachment. Please let me know should you need anything further.Mark S***
