The staff here is amazing and extremely helpful! They provided answers to all my questions and helped me every step of the way. I am so happy I did business with this company. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Thanks so much Ty!

FANTASTIC! The entire staff works quickly to get you a quote, send you an insured FedEx label, evaluate your assets, send you an offer, and then wiring funds to your checking account. The process is very efficient. I have used Pawngo for quick cash since they opened - I'm one of their first customers, and have never had an issue with this company. It is a great company that will either loan you money or pay cash for your assets - whichever you prefer. Having completed tens of thousands in transactions with PAWNGO - I can tell you it is far easier to mail in your assets versus physically having to take them to a local pawn shop and haggling over them. If you want discretion, this is the place. All assets that I have loaned out were returned in perfect condition (and sometimes cleaned) by Fed Ex insured. You can't go wrong!

Becky made my day! She made me feel so much better about the un-ideal situation I was in. She's a keeper!!

Borro Response • Oct 11, 2019

Thanks so much. Becky has been an outstanding member of our team for years and is one of our best.

Working with the staff at this company far exceeded my expectations. In particular I would like to acknowledge Kim M for her courtesy and knowledge in assisting me with my transaction.... this company deserves more than 5 stars!!!!

Borro Response • Oct 10, 2019

Thanks so much for your kind words. Our team does a fantastic job working with our clients through their transactions and providing care, support and a smiling face!

Everything I said about pawngo is false today the CEO accused me of fraud an threaten me an claimed my Gucci bag is fake now I know for sure these people are racist I thought this in the past an tried to give them a chance but today I know for sure there racist I've never been treated so bad in my life an they took 847.00$ off my card that I didn't authorize them to do if y'all think someones bag or whatever is fake you should just tell them not accuse them like they some type of criminal because every African American isn't a criminal he said he was gonna call the police why would a person care about them calling the police on them if a person didn't do anything wrong an they took my money like I said stay far far away from these racist people take your business else were an he called me a lier unbelievable God bless these people for treating any race in a unprofessional manner

Borro Response • Sep 11, 2019

This client appears to be bipolar in addition to a complete liar and a fraud. She first wrote us 1-star review calling us racist because we didn't buy a bag from her (100% our right to do so), then changed it to 5-star after we bought another bag from her, then back to this 1-star review...and on top of that is now calling us racist again.
I'm going to deal in facts: (1) the client sent us a Gucci bag that we sent out for authentication, and our authenticators provided a response indicating the bag is fake. These are partners of ours and we trust them explicitly. (2) I alerted the client that the bag was fake, and she then goes on to tell me she bought the bag at Saks Fifth Avenue and it is a real bag. I said ok, please send me proof of purchase, which she has not and cannot do. No one in the WORLD believes Saks would sell her a fake Gucci bag. She is lying and committing fraud. (3) The client had the opportunity to do the right thing and return funds to us so we could send her bag back - she did not do so. (4) As is our contractual right, we reversed the payment we made to her for the fake bag. (5) The client then went to her bank and reverses the payment again, so we are still in a place where we paid her for a fake bag...and then she writes this review.
I think anyone with a level head can read this review, the grammar, lack of punctuation, run on sentences and utter babbling and see that is not a person with a clue. My only regret is ever working with her at all. She's a criminal, a liar and a fraud. My team and I stand behind our tremendous record of service as anyone can see by all the other 5-star reviews we have on this platform. As infuriating as it is to be called racist by this fraudulent individual, we will move on and continue to service our clients with honesty and respect.

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff, they have some flexibility and will work with you to make sure your needs are met.

Thanks so much!

Pawngo really helped me during a time when I needed some extra money. They are super quick, courteous and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Easy payment plans and when I had questions, they were very fast responding back.

Borro Response • Jun 14, 2019

Thanks so much for your kinds word Emily. What you stated is how we strive to be with all our clients: fast, courteous, helpful and quick to respond and act. Thanks again!

I went to the Pawngo website to inquire about selling a speaker to the company, I filled out the necessary information and submitted my request. Upon submitting my request I received a response from the company with an initial offer and information about mailing my electronics back to the company. The email I received stated "due to the size and nature of your asset(s), we cannot cover shipping for you.", when I received this email I was confused because the companies website states that they will cover the cost of shipping (If I have the option to attach screenshots I will). I called the company and talked to a unnamed representative who explained to me that they would not cover the cost of shipping because it is not a product that they usually accept. I asked where on the website this was stated and she could not tell me. I then asked who else in the office I could speak to regarding this matter, she told me that *** could talk to me and she transferred me immediately. *** answered the phone and I asked the same question to him, *** stated that the company would not cover the shipping cost for the product, I asked *** why the website stated that the cover the cost and he told me it was only covered for items that were receiving a loan. Again I asked *** where on the website this was stated, *** told me it was in the fine print, I asked where I could find the fine print and was told that it is not listed. *** ended the call by telling me he was not interested in purchasing my electronics.

After reviewing the companies website under a section "HOW IT WORKS" the company has two different sections listed. The first GET A LOAN, the second SELL TO US, under the SELL TO US section the third step down is Ship Your Asset to Us - Free of Charge! In this section it lists "Upon acceptance of the initial offer, you'll populate a pre-paid, fully insured FedEx label. Shipping cost is covered by us and your asset is fully insured by both FedEx and under our General Liability Insurance Policy.
Under the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS section of the website the question "Do you cover the cost of shipping"? The answer for this question "YES".

This client is attempting to commit a crime, and that is the reason we chose not to proceed. We reserve the right, as a business, to not provide a shipping label for whatever reason we choose. In this instance, the person who filed the complaint applied once before with the same asset but a different email address and name. We completed that transaction. When the same exact, brand-new, in the box asset comes through on a second application - our antenna goes up that we could be dealing with theft/fraud.

Further research indicated that this client was trying to defraud us by applying a second time with an identical, brand new asset but a different name and email address...but the same phone number. That is how we connected these dots. We called the client and when we asked his name he stumbled over his reply to ensure he gave the "second version" of his name to try and keep his scam intact. But we figured him out. We tried to take the path of least resistance and simply and politely decline the asset over shipping, but then this guy got extremely hostile with my team and yelled at us about our shipping policy. Again, we reserve the right to NOT provide a pre-paid shipping label to ANYONE OR ANYTHING WE CHOOSE. That's our right as a business. Frankly I am disappointed the Revdex.com is even requiring my reply after showing them the evidence of the duplicate and fraudulent applications from this guy. he's a bad actor and we proved it...he's mad we caught him.

Many years ago I utilized Pawngo's services and borrowed $750. I was under the impression that I would make monthly payments until the amount was paid off or I purchased back my item. They have continued taking money out of my account under a different company name (Luxury Assets) and when I tried to research the company and see any account information I was unable to. I have only recently been able to get in touch with anyone at Pawngo to find out the details of my account. They have taken over $3000.00 out of my account for a $750 loan. The "contract" they sent me does not make any sense and it seems to be a complete scam.

Borro Response • Jan 29, 2019

complaint is, unfortunately, not based on any facts whatsoever:

#1: she agreed to and signed a fee-only contract, not a contract reducing principle. This was HER CHOICE, not ours, and so we have simply adhered to the terms of the Agreement which states she pays a monthly fee until the $750 is repaid. To date she has not repaid any of the $750. The contract SHE READ AND SIGNED is explicitly clear. So her statement of "being under the impression she was paying it off" is unfortunately not founded in any truth. That is a lie.

#2: her comments indicate she has had trouble communication with us. That is quite strange - and untruthful - since my team has showed me each any every email communication we have had and never did *** wait more than 24 hours to have a response from us. I am happy to share ALL of those emails.

#3: Luxury Asset Capital LLC is the owner of Pawngo, which is quite clearly explained on our website and has been communicated to ***. There is nothing confusing about this whatsoever - companies get bought and sold all the time and we acquired Pawngo in October, 2017.

#4: the client attempts to refer to our business and contract as a scam, which is odd and shows poor character on her part since, again, the contract clearly outlines how our transactions work. She indicates we have "taken" money from her...another lie. As part of our contract, the client agrees to ACH authorization which grants us the authority to draw monthly payments from her bank account...just like a car payment or phone bill. We cannot, under FEDERAL LAW, have access to the client's bank account WITHOUT HER CONSENT. Which we have on the signed contract.

Unfortunately this client has not been truthful on a number of fronts, but despite that we will continue to work with our honest clients and serve them well.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

To respond to each item:
#1: she agreed to and signed a fee-only contract, not a contract reducing principle. I have never lied to anyone about this and take significant affront to being called a liar. I completely agree I signed the contract but the contract was unclear.Even in re-reading it after 6 years it is still unclear.
#2: her comments indicate she has had trouble communication with us. That is quite strange - and untruthful - since my team has showed me each any every email communication we have had and never did *** wait more than 24 hours to have a response from us. I am happy to share ALL of those emails.
The only emails were in the past 3 days. The last communication I received from Pawngo was 5 years ago. They do not provide any status update or account summary- either in print or online. I have repeatedly tried to figure out how to get in touch with the "Luxury Asset" group that was withdrawing money but never found contact information. I will admit that I did not realized that Pawngo and Luxury Assets were the same company.
#3: Luxury Asset Capital LLC is the owner of Pawngo, which is quite clearly explained on our website and has been communicated to ***. There is nothing confusing about this whatsoever - companies get bought and sold all the time and we acquired Pawngo in October, 2017.
I absolutely newver received information that Luxury Asset had acquired Pawngo. As I said, my last contact via email from either company was in 2013.
#4: the client attempts to refer to our business and contract as a scam, which is odd and shows poor character on her part since, again, the contract clearly outlines how our transactions work. She indicates we have "taken" money from her...another lie. Again, I have never lied about anything. This is 100% different from a car payment or phone bill. You don't pay monthly on a car and then owe the same amount at the end of your 36 or 48 month contract. A phone bill you are paying for a service. The $45 monthly I have paid without issue is not paying for a item or service. I authorized Pawngo to withdraw money from my account, not Luxury Asset. I am not clear why I am showing poor character- I am pointing out my perception of events. You are insulting my character by calling me a liar repeatedly, when all I have done is question your business practices and paid my money EVERY month. Your company has only benefited. It seems that the business is very defensive about one persons questions. All I am asking for is fair resolution to this. I have never received any account information from Luxury Asset and never received information about the company changing hands. In the contract it states that I was not able to get my item back (with payment) after so much time so I had no idea that I was able to get it back but the payments kept being removed. How is this explained?

Sincerely

Borro Response • Feb 01, 2019

It's an interest-only contract. She CHOSE NOT to pay down principal in her contract, so her fees over time are just paying interest. That was her choice. Our contracts are confidential. If the client wants to upload a copy, she has it - as she references in her emails. Thank you.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution although quite unsatisfactory to me is apparently all I will get from the Company.

Sincerely

The team at Pawngo is reliable, trustworthy, competent and caring. They serve with efficiency and excellence. They are very compliant while not overwhelming me with unnecessary paperwork and requests. They take good care of my asset while it is out of my possession. They are always responsive and when I have an issue, they are always seeking to find a win-win solution for me and the company. They solve problems / concerns quickly.
A very satisfied customer.

Thanks so much!

I have been using Pawngo since its inception. I was extremely nervous about sending my family jewellery to someplace I have never seen to someone I have never met. But I took a leap of faith (or desperation lol) and sent it. I know now and I'm completely confident that my items are safe.
They dispell anything you may have heard about Pawn Shops. Unfortunately, my financial situation has been dire and ongoing for 7 years. I did not and still don't have anywhere to turn for help but Pawngo has been there every time I have needed them. They are willing to work with you and their process is extremely fast. By using Pawngo I was able to save my house! The employees of Pawngo are professional and treat you with respect which is something I value above anything. Mitzy, who I have always worked with, takes my calls and even listens to my life struggles and THEN helps me with what I need from Pawngo. I will be forever grateful to them. That type of service is above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone who needs alternative financing.

Cheryl has been a longtime client and wonderful person to work with. Thanks so much for your review! -Dewey

I was very skeptical at first because the concept behind Pawngo.com is much different from the brick-and-mortar pawn shop. I am so glad (and relieved) that I didn't rush into things with a local pawn shop and found out about Pawngo via Google search.
At a regular pawn shop, at least in California, one goes to the shop, gets a quote and decides whether to sell or get a loan on their item. An interest rate is provided if the customer decides on a pawn, and the customer has 30 days to repay the loaned amount PLUS the interest amount. At the discretion of the pawn shop, they may extend another 30 days on the loan, but after that, if the loan is not paid back with interest, the pawn shop OWNS the item.
The cool thing about Pawngo is they want you to retain ownership of your item in the long run, so the customer can pay, at a minimum, only interest each month until they get back on their feet and they can pay toward the actual loan. Pawngo is rather flexible, so if one thinks they need a year to pay back the loan and interest, then a year agreement is set up; if two years works better, then that is set up. Bottom line, no matter which plan one signs up for, they can make additional payments at any time to pay off the loan and interest sooner, and retrieve their item back sooner.
Pawngo literally has no hidden fees or costs. They pay for shipping (both ways), even if a customer changes their mind and doesn't agree to the loan offer once Pawngo physically evaluates the item(s). It is simply the monthly interest rate plus the loan repayment.
In my particular situation, money is very tight close to the end of the year when property taxes become due. Instead of selling heirlooms, it is nice to be able to use them as collateral for quickly needed cash. The interest rate Pawngo charges are way less than penalties, fees, and interest a county assessor will charge once property taxes go into arrears.
Everyone at Pawngo is professional, quick to answer the phone, quick to respond to emails. Becky was especially helpful with lots of questions I had for her at the get-go. Also, when filling out the application, I wanted to be sure about a few things, and when I called Pawngo, another rep answered my questions quickly.
Everything with this transaction went smoothly, from the initial shipping of the item to Pawngo to filling out the application and other forms. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Thanks so much for your review. The explanation given here is EXACTLY why we are in business and describes perfectly how we manage relationships with our clients. We are here to serve and help - not make things difficult financially. We have a 74% repeat business rate because our team strives to be helpful, transparent and responsive. Thanks again!

I was very nervous about using an online pawn shop, especially for my Louis Vuitton purses. No local to me pawn shops took LV purses, so I googled and found Pawngo. The fact that they were the first online pawn shop made me feel less nervous, then when I called and spoke with Becky, I felt much better. The process was easy. She emailed me a pre-paid fed ex label and I carefully boxed my "babies" up and headed to the nearest FedEx location. Becky confirmed that they arrived safely two days later.
It's been a blessing to deal with Pawngo and I highly recommend them! You can trust them even with your precious LVs!!!

Vickie thank you! Becky does a fantastic job for us and I am so glad your experience went well. We are here to help. - Dewey *** CEO

As a doctoral student there have been times over the years that I have had to place my precious jewelry into Pawngo’s secured online pawn shop. The first time, I must admit I was honestly scared, I vacillated for a time weighing out my options which were the need of quick cash and the pros and cons of the “what if’s” as in what if I lost my jewelry. Pawngo and its luxury brand provides impeccable customer service with every encounter, employees treated me with the same dignity and respect whether I was re-pawning or struggling and need to figure out my resolve. I have grown to love this company’s servant leadership style that I have witness as a consistent behavior within the employees that I have encountered (which is most likely all of them) since it has been years of them developing a great customer relationship with me. The consistency of the employees kind-spirited interaction with me has been refreshing, they show me compassion and collaborate with me as a partner to assist to come up with a convenient workable plan; no pressure, they get it, they are people too and they understand that difficulties happens. Management has got it right, straight from what the research says; treat people well and you establish loyalty and respect. Here is what I want everyone reading this to know:
• Pawngo/Luxury brand is a top-notched trusted brand with trusted staff who only want the best experience for you.
• One of the most important statements I want to convey to any new or ongoing customer (you already know this) is if you find yourself in midst of a personal life struggle just contact them so they can help you immediately.
• PLEASE whatever you do don’t let FEAR make you just give up and accept the fate of your expensive item as gone, please don’t do this to yourself. They will work with you to resolve your current situation.
• You will always receive professional and helpful interactions, the staff are problem solvers, they are in your corner to collaborate with you in finding the best resolution for you.
It was important to me as an appreciative customer to pass on my personal experiences in writing an authentic and meaningful review because I have had several unfortunate life challenging experiences over the years and this company stood by me, so I could handle my stressing situations while not worrying about the plight of my jewelry. I have grown into a loyal customer solely because of how the employees treated me during the difficult (& good) times. They are more than the investment in the customers products, they invest in the whole customer, they value their customers experience.
