To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms***’ complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We would first like to mention that we have been in communication with Ms*** since she became a client with usWe have explained to her that she has strict criteria which is
limiting her opportunities to receive referralsWe have many gentlemen to possibly match her with, but her criteria has prevented us from doing soWe are constantly searching on her behalf for compatible gentlemen and also recruiting new men every dayOur paperwork which was provided to Ms*** explains that we are unable to predict the time frame for referralsHowever, we will continue to work for Ms*** until all referrals have been provided. If Ms*** would like to open up on some of her preferences, this will better her chances of finding someone special. We are here for Ms*** if she has any questions or concernsWe only wish to help her be successful in finding a companion.Kindest Regards,Boston Matchmakers

To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms***’s complaintThank you for bringing this matter to our attentionYes, Ms*** joined our services in November Ms*** purchased referrals we have found referrals on her behalf so farHowever, not all of these
referrals panned out into matches, so we have still been working on her behalfMs*** successfully met with gentlemen, spoke with gentleman (but decided not to meet), referral was cancelled, referrals were rejected and the most recent referral she did not connect withWe are just as disappointed if matches do not work out, as there is much work which goes on behind the scenes in our matchmaking processWe explain to our clients that we will match them with those who are likely most mutually compatible, we use our best judgment when providing referrals and no two people are generally perfectly compatibleWe also explain that not all clients will agree to meet their referralsIn addition, our clients will not like everyone they meetHowever, we do hope for the best with each and every couple we place togetherWe have a large amount of both male and female clients in our program who are looking for a long-term relationshipWe always sign up new individuals on a daily basis, so our number of clients is always changingAlso, our clients’ availability constantly changes, clients go on hold to pursue new relationships, etcWe have only matched Ms*** with those who showed to be compatible, per the clients’ profile information and compatibility indicatorsIn addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms*** also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees she must meet all of her purchased referrals in order to give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our programWe only with to continue working with Ms*** and assist her in finding someone she connects withWe will be reaching out to her to discuss her concerns and, hopefully, come to a resolution for this matterKindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers

They have not provided a completed profile and therefore have not fulfilled their aspect of our contractI did meet with the a representative on 10/and was assured my profile and background check would be completed in a timely fashion and would be hearing from them within the next few daysWhen this did not take place, I phoned their office on 10/to see what the delay was in processing my profile as I had completed my questionnaire that evening as instructedI received a voicemail back stating it would be competed, it was not, *** stated she had been on vacation and would get to itI found this unacceptable and it was now 10/I then stated to cancel my membership as this business had not kept their part of the contract and the non-refundable part of the contract was void by their lack of action, not mineThis was the point I was told I needed to speak with ***She phoned me once during my working hours, when I clearly stated she would need to phone me after 5pm, which she DID NOTI phoned her back three more times, which my calls were never returned, I have sent four emails, which have never been returned.Their statement to saying we have been paying phone tag is completely inaccurate, there have been no return calls from this business and no return emails to mine.In stead this business has chosen to ignore the customer complaintsThe business has not completed their part of the contract as stated and caused it to be void. In reference to my complaint about Boston Matchmakers, their reply didn’t address the problem statedFour dates in two years that didn’t meet my suggested criteria does not justify as filling their contractual obligationsFurther, they suggested I wasn’t available to go out with their suggested clients, which is completely falseThe last gentleman that was referred to me, after my calling them when I hadn’t heard for six months, called the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We had a nice conversationOur schedules didn’t match over the holiday weekend, but we agreed to speak early the following weekI called him on MondayHe indicated he had just gotten home and would call me in an hour; I never heard from him againHardly a lack of response on my partSince a core value for me is being family oriented, when he indicated he was estranged from his one daughter, I decided Boston Matchmakers doesn’t have the clients they advertise extensively and I contacted Revdex.comI only hope others won’t be as easily sold by their advertising. I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].  It says clearly in the contract that clients will receive their first introduction between 0----8 weeks. I wasn't told my criteria was hard to meet at all when I signed up. I would not sign the agreement if I knew I won't even be contacted after 7 months. My requirement is for the match to have a bachelor's degree and no children. The company is completely deceptive. The contract should also be based on fairness. Either way the company has not provided the service they promised. I still request full refund of $2500.

They outright lied.  They only contacted me once Sept. 29th and told me that they had a  match and he declined to meet.  They never contacted me with a match that I refused.  They have not contacted me three times with a match and why would they contact me if they didn't have a match that was acceptable.  They have bad business practices and I do not want to continue with this company as they have not fulfilled their agreement with me.  I believe they have  played on my emotions  as a widow and I have contacted them numerous times to try to resolve this and they keep telling me that someone will get back to me and they never do.

Date: 9/25/17Re: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Mr. [redacted]’ complaint. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We are very surprised to receive this complaint. Mr. [redacted] joined our services a couple months ago and everything has been right on schedule...

with his program. We promised to provide Mr. [redacted] with referrals, which we are, and all the services involved in providing those referrals. We explain to our clients that we will match them with those who are likely most mutually compatible and we will provide referrals who most nearly match the client’s requirements.Mr. [redacted] has met one woman so far. In his feedback, he rated the date a “4” with “5” being the highest rating. He said his referral was “nice and outgoing” but they “just didn’t have a spark”. He also stated his referral “Was awesome”, “she did nothing wrong. Just reminded me of a family member”. Mr. [redacted] then changed his profile preferences to omit “a few extra pounds”. We informed him we would resume our search. We were actively searching for the next, most compatible referral for Mr. [redacted] and we have now received this complaint. We would like to continue working with Mr. [redacted] and assist him in finding someone special. Mr. [redacted] signed an agreement which states his fee is non-refundable and he also signed a client obligation form which states he agrees he must meet all of his purchased matches in order to give us the full opportunity to meet his expectations of our program. He has only met one woman thus far. We believe it would be beneficial for him to the give the services a fair chance. Mr. [redacted] also agrees, per this form, that he will contact us directly to discuss any concerns he may have with his program. We are here if he would like to discuss anything. We only wish success for him.Thank you,Boston Matchmakers

Date: 10/12/17 Re: [redacted]   To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have been working very hard on behalf of Ms. [redacted] to find her compatible referrals ever since she became a...

client. We have found a few gentlemen so far, but not all referrals have panned out, unfortunately. We are just as disappointed if this should happen, as our matchmakers work countless hours to put together compatible couples in the hopes of creating successful relationships. Ms. [redacted] did not connect with her first referral when they met for a date. However, according to him, he felt they “hit it off”. Ms. [redacted] did not feel they had things in common. On the contrary, according to their profiles, they were very compatible with one another and shared commonalities. Unfortunately, it was not a love connection. We “comped” or “bonused back” this referral for Ms. [redacted] and resumed our search. ·         We found a new potential gentleman in August. Ms. [redacted] did not wish to meet him. We resumed our search again. ·         We found another man shortly thereafter, but he then became unavailable to date at the time. We resumed our search again. ·         We found a new potential referral in September. This referral did not work out either. While we were diligently working to find the next, most compatible referral, Ms. [redacted] requested to cancel. We reminded her that when she joined, we explained the process takes time and how her Relationship Specialist explained the same during the interview. Ms. [redacted] agreed she was informed this, but appeared to be less than patient. In the paperwork we provided to Ms. [redacted], there is a section in our Regulations titled “Referrals”. It explains everything our clients can expect with respect to their referrals. Some pertinent information states we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of referrals. We will only match our clients with those who are likely most mutually compatible, which can take time and research. We use our best judgment when providing referrals and no two people are generally perfectly compatible. Our clients also will not like everyone they are introduced to. We try to set realistic expectations right from the beginning. In the Client Agreement, it states under paragraph #2 the Client has received a copy of our Regulations, has had time to review the Regulations and ask any necessary questions. The Agreement also states the Client fee is non-refundable. We only wish to move forward with Ms. [redacted]’s program. She has agreed, per her signed Client Obligation form, she is required to meet all of her purchased referrals so she may give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency prior to trying to resolve any matters directly with our staff. She agrees to set up a phone meeting with a senior member of our Client Resolution team and allow them the opportunity to resolve her complaint to her satisfaction. Kindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers

I will accept their response that is resolving my issue, not telling Revdex.com that they will look into it. I read that if I accept their response, Revdex.com will close my case. I want this case to be resolved here, possibly publicly.

To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will focus on Ms. [redacted]’s individual experience with our program and the services which have been provided thus far. Everyone has a different experience with our program....

The following information has been taken directly from Ms. [redacted]'s account. Ms. [redacted] joined our services in August. We provided her a first referral who showed to be most mutually compatible with her. The gentleman is described as “a few extra pounds” (this information was provided to Ms. [redacted] when the match was put together), but he exercises 1-2 times per week, is listed as a social drinker (1-2 drinks per week), and his hobbies and interests include various activities such as golf, swimming, walking/hiking, bowling, cycling, etc. They met one another for a date, but there was no romantic connection between them. We explain to our clients that they are not going to like every person they meet through our program. Ms. [redacted] completed her date feedback in September and requested to go on hold until March of 2018. Ms. [redacted] called on 10/31 and wanted to know if we received any feedback from her first referral. She said she was doing better – lost some weight and her hair is growing, so she had it cut and styled. She said she was still not ready, but will call us after the holidays. Ms. [redacted] called again on 11/27 and said she wanted her money back. She was down in the dumps, stating that she didn’t think anyone would want to date her, she felt bad about her appearance, etc. We told her there is someone for EVERYONE and we just needed to find her the right person. We offered to take her off hold and try again. We spoke with her for a while and tried to provide her encouragement. Ms. [redacted] called again on 12/1, stating she is not ready to “do this”. We tried to provide encouragement again and she wanted to stay on hold. She said she would contact us after the holidays. We have now received this complaint. We have provided our services to Ms. [redacted] thus far. Everything was right on schedule with her program. She did not have a romantic connection with her first referral and has been on hold since. We believe it would be beneficial for her to give the program a fair chance. We would hope our clients would not expect instant success on the first try. Ms. [redacted] may have read an article posted by someone in our program, but everyone has a very different experience and attitude is everything. This is only one article written about one person’s experience. In addition, people are more likely to vocalize a complaint, but not express on the internet when they are happy. (Our services are discreet, so people do not share that they met their special someone through us too often.) We also have specials at times and some people purchase more referrals for more money, less referrals for less money, etc. The gentleman in the article had purchased a Passive program, which entails he is to remain in our database as an option for the female Clients we search for and we do not actively search on his behalf. In addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees she must meet all of her purchased referrals in order to give us the full opportunity to meet her expectations of our program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues with our staff. We would like Ms. [redacted] to give our program a fair chance. We only want to help her. We would like to move forward in a positive direction with Ms. [redacted]’s program and continue helping her find someone special. Kindest Regards, Boston Matchmakers
